This past weekend we saw lots of Air Jordan releases which were highlighted by a white and pink women’s colorway of the Air Jordan 12 that for some reason many men were going crazy over and a brand new white and black colorway of the Air Jordan 2 inspired by an ad from the 80’s.
Just when we thought that all of the senseless sneaker violence was over since Jordan Brand has been making more than enough retros for everyone, another incident occurred this past weekend. Reported by CBS Minnesota two men were shot on Saturday morning when police received a phone call at around 10:00am of gun shots being fired off near a Foot Locker parking lot. Police marked more than a dozen casings on the ground following the shooting which resulted in two people being injured. Thankfully the two victims did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
CBS reports that the lineup at the Foot Locker was for either the Air Jordan 2 Wing It or the Air Jordan 12 GS Vivid Pink which caused chaos in different parts of the country.
Police do not currently have anyone in custody but have several witnesses they are interviewing to piece this together.
