Last weekend’s Sneaker Con in New York City was so big, humans weren’t the only ones wearing kicks. That’s right, even a furry four-legged friend was spotted wearing Yeezys, but he/she wasn’t the only sneakerhead of note at the two-day event of the biggest sneaker show on Earth, as celebrities like Fat Joe and even Chris Rock rubbed elbows with the crowd at the biggest turnout for Sneaker Con to date. Along with the usual Sneaker Con festivities that took place over Saturday and Sunday, day two also featured the second Hoops Classic, featuring Youtube personalities battling it out on the court. Boot season is in full effect. Luckily for (some of) you, Yeezy Season 3 has new boot offerings to choose from. Coming in sizes for men and women, let’s take a closer look at the readily available Yeezy Season 3 Military Boots.

The boot comes in three different colorways to choose from: Onyx Shade, Burnt Sienna and Rock. All three pairs rock the tonal look, which extends down to the sole of the boot. The boost are made out of nylon and nubuck with features including a padded quilted collar, metal eyelets, rope laces and a leather liner. Price of the boot: $645. Who’s picking up a pair? Last night we ran a story from reddit about a customer who claimed to have purchased counterfeit Yeezy Boost 350 shoes from sneaker consignment shop kolorblind in San Diego. The customer, Redditor intensetrash26, claims to have purchased counterfeits and was not offered a full refund. kolorblind reached out to us for their side of the story; the customer purchased the shoes brand new on September 11th, 2016 and 38 days later, called the store claiming the shoes were counterfeit. The shop owner responded immediately and invited him to the store on Monday to get things sorted out.

After inspecting the shoes, kolorblind offered $1,000 in store credit. The shoes had been worn since they were initially purchased and the customer attempted to clean them with a sneaker cleaning product. Being able to trust the source of your sneaker purchases is absolutely huge, especially when dropping copious amounts of cash. One of the more coveted items is the Yeezy Boost 350, and sadly counterfeits of this sneaker run rampant throughout the secondary market. Redditor intensetrash26 purchased a pre-owned pair of the Turtle Doves from sneaker consignment shop kolorblind in San Diego for $1,700, and unfortunately they turned out to be counterfeit. While it’s understandable for a pair of fakes to slip under the radar, what’s not acceptable is the shop refusing to refund the customer. He says he was offered $1,000 in store credit, but he rightfully refused that offer. kolorblind has since blocked the customer on social media and has not made any further attempts to rectify the situation.

Hundreds have been reported dead and many others are suffering from disease and starvation after the widespread destruction. The country is still recovering from the massive earthquake over six years ago, so the need for assistance is even more dire.

Shoe retailer Sneakersnstuff set aside thirty pairs of the recently released adidas YEEZY Boost 750 “Light Brown” and will auction all of them off from October 20th through October 24th, will all proceeds going directly to the international Red Cross to further assist the relief effort in Haiti. Long Island’s own RISE is back with one of the better Yeezy raffles this weekend, as they’re making the desperate quest for one of Kanye and adidas Originals’ latest collaborative efforts a bit more fun than the standard procedure.

RISE is asking sneakerheads to record a 30-second freestyle rap via Twitter as part of their entry process for a chance to win the latest adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Solar Red”. The sneaker shop did the same thing for the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 as well, and apparently it was such a hit that they’re bringing the unique freestyle approach back with this Yeezy Boost 350 V2.

No it’s not a typo, Ross (some say it was Marshalls) is now selling fake pairs of the Yeezy 350. You know, similar to the ones with the LED soles that you can find in the middle of the mall. For the very low low price of $16.99, you can get yourself a sweet pair of Yeezy knockoffs instead of spending $1,000 on the resale market. Above you will see the Turtle Dove colorway. What I really want to know is if they will also carry their own version of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga in the near future. Never say never, right?

DeAndre Hopkins of the Houston Texans was one of the first adidas NFL athletes to unveil the Yeezy 350 Cleats late last week. He joins fellow NFL stars Von Miller, Adrian Peterson, and Sammy Watkins as adidas athletes in the NFL that laced up these hypebeast-friendly on-field shoes, so they likely got slapped with a $6,000 fine like Hopkins did, according to USA Today. So is the NFL banning the Yeezy Cleats going to have any sort of explosive momentum like the Air Jordan 1 had back in 1985? Not likely. The athletes simply aren’t on the level of MJ, and it doesn’t look like adidas is going to foot the bill.

Hopkins is ready to shelf the shoes from here on out, but states that he’d wear them again as long as Kanye himself pays the fine. For now, this is the end of Yeezy cleats worn in NFL games, unless they create team-specific colorways like what Jordan Brand did for their roster of athletes. The Yeezy cleats released today at retail for $250.

Earlier today we found out that the adidas Yeezy 350 Cleat would be releasing tomorrow as the news was broken by the adidas Football Twitter account.

The shoes hasn’t even officially hit retailers yet, and the fakes are already beginning to surface. Notorious counterfeit marketplace DHGate has a variety of colorways of the Yeezy 350 Cleat already available including black, red, lime green, and a pair similar to the Turtle Dove colorway. It’s only a matter of time until the fake 750 Cleats begin popping up.

Would you consider buying these or would you rather spend $250 on the real thing.

The seeding list for the YEEZY Boost 350 for infants apparently included actor Verne Troyer, whose claim to fame as the character “Mini-me” in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me continues to be fresh in our minds today. Verne was recently spotted wearing the Pirate Black colorway of the shoes, but before he laced them up, he actually recorded himself unboxing the shoes (among a number of other online purchases he had made).
