ASICS Returns With A Yeezy Colored GEL-Lyte III

OK, so the Yeezy comparison may be a bit of a stretch, but we’re guessing this latest colorway for the ASICS GEL-Lyte III will indeed call to mind the classic “Blink” look of the Nike Air Yeezy 1 and 2. The red shade in the interior of this GEL-Lyte III is quite a bit darker than the bright tones used on the Yeezy, but the all-black upper and glow-in-the-dark outsole are pretty close.

Whether they remind you of Yeezys or not, the colorway is strong on its own thanks to the subtly textured black leather upper with a red satin inner lining and glowing outsole with the GEL visible in the heel underneath. Initial Look At The YEEZY Season 5 Military Boots

Just weeks after the official presentation of YEEZY Season 5 during NYFW, Kanye West?s label?s showroom, which is located in Paris, recently previewed a variety of footwear from the forthcoming line.

Paris-based retailer, Riveneuve, provides a first-look into range — in particular, a series of rugged military boots, aside from the new Yeezy runner. With one notable pair rendered in a camouflage theme, other variations are treated in tonal iterations of black and sand tones. Additionally, a number of accessories such as bags colored in dark, earthy hues cap of the brief sneak peek.

Kanye West showcased YEEZY SEASON 5 yesterday at Pier 59 in New York City during NYFW in front of another star-studded crowd.

Displaying new graphical references and sportswear silhouettes, as well as debuting the highly anticipated Calabasas-branded items, one of the focal points was the unveiling of the Yeezy runner, a bulky type of sneaker which was recently featured on Kanye West in an all-white theme. In addition, more styles of boots rounded out the lineup of footwear.

Our focus here is on the only sneaker that made an appearance during the show – the bulky running shoe that is currently dubbed the Yeezy Runner, Yeezy 700 Runner, and the Yeezy Calabasas Runner. The official name of the shoes have yet to be revealed, nor has the release date information for these seemingly Ozweego-inspired shoes.

YEEZY Calabasas Runner Unveiled In Three Colorways

The adidas YEEZY Calabasas Runner officially debuted in Kanye West’s fifth NYFW showing. Taking place at Pier 59 Stage C in New York City, Yeezy Season 5 featured the Yeezy Calabasas Runner in three colorways – one in white/teal/orange/black that Kanye was spotted wearing back in January, a newly unveiled white/teal colorway, and a “triple black” colorway. The white/gum Yeezy Runner colorway was not featured in the runway show, nor has it been included in this early release report. Kanye West will be debuting his new YEEZY Season 5 collection during New York Fashion Week and it’s confirmed for Wednesday, February 15th — the day before NYFW concludes (Feb. 16th).

While his previous presentations occurred in Madison Square Garden and Roosevelt Island, the upcoming show will be in a new location, as it’ll take place at Pier 59 Studios at Chelsea Piers, starting at 5PM, in between events by Anna Sui and Thom Browne.

As expected, a variety of clothing and of course, footwear, will be revealed — perhaps more colorways of the Yeezy Boost 350 v2 or new styles in general — so stay tuned to KicksOnFire for further updates on the new line.
