After news of Big Baller Brand scrapping the initial design of the ZO2 Prime and replacing it with the ZO2 Prime Remix, it appears that BBB may be in a bit of hot water.

As you probably know by now, LaMelo Ball, the youngest brother of Lonzo Ball, will also be releasing his own signature shoe making him the first ever high school athlete (16 years old) with a signature sneaker. The Big Big Baller Brand Melo Ball 1 was unveiled last month and it is being reported that the brand is being accused of stealing LaMelo’s logo.

CTV News is reporting that Hana Engel, the owner of Modern Body, a Canadian yoga studio located in Ottawa, feels that her logo looks a lot like the LaMelo Ball logo. “My jaw dropped,? that was her reaction after she took her first look at the new Melo Ball 1 shoes. Engel says the Melo Ball 1 logo is near identical to her yoga studio?s MB logo. Engel started the trademark copyright process in 2014, with a full license in Canada in April of this year. She?s still awaiting approval in the U.S.

Engel has had her copyright lawyer send Big Baller Brand a letter to warn them to comply with the copyright law. The letter states, ?Any use of the Big Baller Mark in Canada by your client will be considered an infringement of our client?s exclusive trademark rights.?

Take a look at both logos above and compare them for yourself. Do you think they look too similar? Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for developments on this story.
