FILA is known for changing the game in sports, style, culture and music (just ask Beyonce). So it makes sense to see that they will help honor Marvel legend and pop culture icon Stan Lee on August 22nd during the ?Extraordinary: Stan Lee? tribute that will be taking place at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills.

The event will be hosted by Chris Hardwick and ?Powered By FILA”. It will honor the life and storied career of Mr. Lee. Want to see it? It will be live streamed to more than 200 theaters nationwide. As part of FILA?s tribute, FILA also designed a custom Fila Original Fitness to be presented to Mr. Lee live at the end of the evening. The custom sneaker puts a Stan Lee spin on the classic FILA silhouette.  It was created by Mark Eggert, Vice President, Footwear Design & Advanced Concepts at FILA and a life-long Stan Lee fan.

Only two pairs of the FILA Original Fitness x Stan Lee shoes will be made, including one for Mr. Lee and one for the event?s Omaze winner in support of Make-A-Wish®.  A second footwear silhouette was designed exclusively for the tribute event?s VIP participants.
