Author’s Take
Another clean colorway of the NMD that I wouldn’t mind adding to my collection. I’m a fan of olive shoes and to create a pair mixing it with black is definitely a good look.

Elite High School Football 7v7 Team Shows Love For adidas While Wearing Jordan Gear
By SoleInsider
This past weekend, the nation’s biggest 7v7 high school football tournament took place in Sin City for the Pylon Elite 7v7 Las Vegas Invitational. With many of the top football recruits in attendance, this was the place to be if you’re a college football fan looking to see who might soon be the future of your school. And in a moment that our editor-in-chief called “the most pro wrestling I’ve seen at a football game in a long time,” the championship took an unexpected turn.
The championship game was an all-adidas affair with 702 Elite from Las Vegas taking on BOOM Football from Chicago. However, despite their allegiance to the three stripes, both teams had to wear Jordan Brand gear because they were the event sponsors. So in a show of loyalty, BOOM Football chanted “three stripes” before the final. It’s like a wrestler doing a double turn in one sequence, joining one side to fake out the bad guys then showing his true colors in the end to a large pop from audience. Or in the words of BOOM…
No disrespect, but we ride with those who ride with us.
With adidas really pushing hard in the performance space, especially in football and baseball, it’s no surprise that kids are riding with who they feel has been loyal to them. The lines have been drawn and it’ll be interesting to see if other schools and programs go hard and show their love to adidas as well at upcoming events.
adidas Originals Invites You To The Future Capsule Art Installation
By SoleInsider
adidas had a pretty dope even last night which had them partner up with 10 artists from NYC and LA to unveil a collective body of work titled ‘Future Capsule’ at the New York Museum in New York City. The artists helped in building the Future Capsule concept by offering the own interpretation of what a better future looks like in through their artistic lens.
The Future Capsule art installation played host to media, consumers and tastemakers. The event displayed different art forms that include photography, painiting, digital art and soundscapes. The artists who took part in this even include: Mars, Eric Hu, Yung Jake, Mischa Khan, Arvida Bystrom, Phillip Annand, Caleb Hanne, Nick Thomm, Lucia Santina Ribisi and Emmanuel Olunkwa.
The Future Capsule art installation spanned three levels at the New Museum, beginning with an informal exhibition on the main floor with a wide-ranging collection of art comprised of mixed media and installed by the artist’s vision. The lower-level consisted of an immersive video experience with large projections of art animating cross the entire room. The top of the New Museum had the guests look out the floor-to-ceiling windows in the Sky Room while being entertained by a curated soundscape from Erik the Architect of the Flatbus Zombies.
The Future Capsule represents adidas’s unwillingness to settle for the norm, as they collaborate with the 10 artists and challenge them to reveal a collective body of work with DNA tied back to inspiring a generation of thinkers to disrupt the status-quo and shape their own destinies.
The Future Capsule will continue on to its next stop in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 10 at the Seventh Letter. The Los Angeles version of the Future Capsule will run from March 10th-13th.
The moment many of us have been waiting for may soon become a reality. A major change on the adidas Ultra Boost may be one the way. We’re all accustomed to seeing the shoe rock an all-white Boost midsole, but we’ve recently come across leaked images showing the shoe coming in an all-black aesthetic, yes, Boost midsole included.
Granted, there’s always the possibility that the shoe may be a well-made custom but we’re all being hopeful that this is in fact a future release. One reason that we remain hopeful is because the source that provided this image has has a good track record in the past leaking sneaker images early. Notable features on the shoe include the Primeknit upper, Boost midsole and the use of Continental rubber on the outsole. Who’s excited for this potential release? Sound off in the comments below.
I really hope these release. I’d be more than happy to give adidas my money. It looks really clean! I just hope Kanye doesn’t wear them and hike up the resell price of the shoe.

According to High Snobiety, the brown adidas Yeezy Boost 750 WILL NOT be releasing on March 18th and instead the next adidas Yeezy release (whether it be the 750, 350 or new 550) is scheduled to release in early Summer 2016. So there you have it folks. It looks like we’ll have to go all Spring without an adidas Yeezy release. I guess this means Kanye and adidas will be bombarding us with releases during the 2nd half of the year.
People Are Already Camping Out For The Next adidas Yeezy Release
By SoleInsider
News first surfaced last week that abrown colorway of the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 was rumored to be releasing on March 18th. And just like every other adidas Yeezy release, it’s gonna take some hard work or some luck to get your hands on a pair.
Some “dedicated” sneakerheads in Los Angeles began camping out in front of a Shoe Palace in Los Angeles TWO WEEKS in advance of the “rumored” release date. Keep in mind that there has been no confirmed release by Kanye West or adidas yet. A few of the hopefuls in line even brought with them an RV to make sure that they don’t have to leave their spot in line and have somewhere to eat, sleep and take care of other necessities.
Now that we’ve learned that they’ll be no adidas Yeezy release until early Summer I hope that those camping out read this ASAP so they can go back to their lives and make some more money to cop the next adidas Yeezy release.
I still don’t understand all the hype behind adidas Yeezy releases. The only thing I can think of is the money that there is to be made from reselling them. Plus who camps out when the release date hasn’t even been confirmed??

It’s a safe assumption that the adidas NMD lineup is going to play a big role in the three stripe’s upcoming Spring 2016 catalog. Already we’ve been treated to a number of functional Primeknit lifestyle creations, and with the recently previewed adidas NMD Chukka, those looking for a comfortable Boost-laden midsole outside the realm of the usual running options can pinpoint this “Black Suede” option as a go-to. This pair is a little different than the “Black Suede” sample previewed back in February, as the heel tab features a black ribbon with white ‘3-Stripe’ callouts instead of the inverse. No word yet on pricing information, but know that this adidas NMD Chukka “Black Suede” will hit retailers on March 17th. More info below.
For those of you who still don’t have a pair of adidas Yeezys, and for those of you who want more pairs of Yeezy, we’ve got good news for you, assuming you believe anything that Kanye West says nowadays.
Kanye took to his Twitter to let his followers know that “adidas is making a million Yeezys this year, opening up new factories…”
Whether that statement is true on not remains to be seen, but nothing should be confirmed until adidas officially says something.
Should adidas make more Yeezys? Or do you think flooding the market with them will depreciate the value of the shoe?
I say make as much as you possibly can! Please the masses. There’s no such thing as depreciating a shoe. Every person decides how much they want to appreciate their own damn shoe.

The adidas Stan Smith stays with its original and iconic color scheme, but gets a metallic upgrade for this women’s release of the classic tennis shoe this spring. A metallic finish is added to the Fairway Green heel tab on this white leather Stan Smith, which is actually part of a “Metallics” pack of adidas Originals models exclusive to the ladies. Check out this preview of the metallic Stan Smith, and stay tuned for looks at the rest of the metal modifications on adidas Originals silhouettes.
Even with the limited releases of the adidas NMD Runner so far, the new silhouette from adidas Originals has been one of the hottest sneakers on the market over the last few months. Everybody seems to want it, but few have actually been able to grab a pair. It looks like that may all be changing soon, as the stylish Boost-cushioned sneaker will begin seeing a wider range of releases, including at mall chain store Pac Sun. Becoming a little less exclusive and a little more democratic, the NMD appears to be dropping at select Pac Sun locations on March 17th in eight colorways, per this internal launch info page seen below. With this release at Pac Sun, we can assume the NMD will be popping up at even more retailers in the future, which comes as good news for all fans of the shoe.
Thought the Yeezy Boost 750s were releasing on March 18th? According to High Snobiety and other confirmed sources, there will be no Yeezy release in March. In fact, the next Yeezy release isn’t scheduled until “early Summer”. Many believed that the Yeezy Boost 750 “Chocolate” would release on March 18th, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a little more. In the meantime, check out this exclusive look at the Chocolate Yeezy shoes and stay tuned for more updates on Yeezys.
With all these new colorways of the adidas Ultra Boost appearing, the popularity of this performance/lifestyle shoe has barely scratched the surface. Today we bring you a first look at the Ultra Boost “Triple Black” with a first-ever all-black Boost cushioning for this super-comfy slip-on running shoe (but still not the first all-black Boost sole we’ve seen). The entire upper is a matching murdered-out black as well, achieving that stoic and powerful tonal black appeal that has been an emphatic hit over the last year. Release info hasn’t been revealed just yet, so enjoy these photos for the time being and we’ll let you know when these arrive in stores.
adidas Releases News Colorways Of The Pure Boost X
By SoleInsider
All boost everything. adidas’ running and Originals imprints have fallen in love with the unique cushion system, and two of the brand’s most notorious models in the Ultra Boost and Yeezy 350 Boost featured the tech to help you fall in love with the advancement last year too. The latest silhouette to utilize the base is this women’s exclusive adidas Pure Boost X. The construction stands out from the norm thanks to a combination of mesh, neoprene, and a Primeknit mudguard. Translucent overlays of ventilated mesh help support while two colorways will definitely turn heads. A “Sun Glow” gradient of pink and purple features a pattern of stark contrasting black and white woven material. A triple black is also up for grabs. Both colorways are available today in a women’s exclusive size run for $120 at retailers like KITH.
This new hybrid version of the retro-inspired silhouette does away with the laces and utilizes a sock-fit Primeknit textile upper in a black and white color scheme. The BOOST midsole has been left in white while the EVA inserts are done in contrasting black. We have now learned that the adidas NMD City Sock will be releasing on March 17th in Europe and Asia with a US release occurring some time in the month of May. So we’ll have to wait a couple of months to get our pairs while those overseas get to enjoy theirs a bit early.

I’m not too sure how I feel about the sock-like upper. I prefer the way that NMD looks with laces because this way it sort of looks like a house slipper and not a sneaker.
