We all know adidas had a pretty great 2015. But do you know which adidas model was the best selling sneaker of 2015? No, it’s not a Yeezy. It’s not any shoe with Boost or Primeknit on it. It’s not the ZX Flux or any Tubular. It’s none other than the classic adidas Originals Superstar.

15 millions pairs of the adidas Originals Superstar were sold last year. That’s a lot! 2015 also saw the Superstar celebrate an anniversary which gave adidas a chance to release a huge amount of different models all celebrating the anniversary of the shoe. There were also plenty collaborations the shoe took part in, most noticeably with Pharrell and the 50 different tonal colorways they came out with.

According to Bloomberg, the Superstar accounts for almost $1 in every $10 adidas took in last year, which is more than enough to make the shoe the most profitable adidas model of 2015. Did you cop a pair of the Superstar in 2015? Are you surprised to hear this news?

I’m a big fan of yellow. Whenever I feel like being flashy, I feel like yellow sneakers get the job done. I haven’t gotten a pair of Superstars in a minute, I wouldn’t mind owning a pair of these.

For all you Yeezy enthusiasts, this should be quite a sigh to see. Kanye West and French Montana were recently spotted rocking unreleased pairs of adidas Yeezy Boost sneakers. Both artists were on the set of the ?Figure it Out? video, which is a French Montana project that features a numerous amount of other artists, Kanye West being one of them.

Kanye West is seen wearing what looks to be an adidas Yeezy 350 Boost from the Season 3 collection. This is the pair that has that colorful pink stripe going across the shoe. The shoe that most people are talking about though happens to be on the feet of French Montana, as it appears that the model he is wearing is the unreleased adidas Yeezy Boost 550. The 550 model is said to be the mid-top model of the Yeezy collection, but we’ve yet to see it release. The adidas NMD runner just released a few months ago and adidas is already creating different versions of the silhouette. Fresh off the introduction of the adidas NMD City Sock, the Three Stripes now unveils a new women’s silhouette.

Known as the adidas NMD_R1, this version of the NMD is constructed of a mixture of premium suede and peached jersey textile. A vegetable-tanned leather heel patch and copper midsole plug add some contrast to the otherwise tonal sneaker while the entire shoe sits atop a full-length BOOST midsole. The first two colorways that will release include tonal black and burgundy options. The release date is set for March 17th. What are your thoughts on this new women’s exclusive NMD?

Kudos to adidas for keeping their foot on the gas pedal and continuously giving us new versions and colorways of the adidas NMD. This new NMD-R1 is pretty nice and should have been released for men as well. Oh well, I guess we can let the women have this one. Haha.

While the last notable iteration of the Raf Simons x adidas Ozweego 2 was rendered in all-red, the popular collaborative silhouette with the Belgian fashion designer returns this Spring 2016 in another appealing colorway.

Essentially comprised of its signature materials of breathable mesh across the upper in an bold khaki/goldish hue, tonal synthetic and leather accents are implemented on the toe and side panels to further reinforce the profile. This sleek and stylish rendition of a runner is further defined by futuristic translucent silicone capsules gracing the sides and tongue label in subtle shades ranging from ash pink to blue.

I’m always a fan of this collaboration. Aside from the Stan Smiths, this silhouette is my favorite. The colorway on this is pretty sweet as well, but that price tag is too steep. It’s an investment and obviously has resale value.

Damian Lillard is currently playing the best basketball of his career as he’s coming off a month of February where he averaged 29.8 point per game. What better time than now to release the Rose City colorway of the D Lillard 2 to pay homage to the city of Portland and its famous rose gardens and the Rose Festival.
