The adidas NMD R1 Japan Black Boost Will Only Release Internationally

adidas NMD Primeknit Triple Black 1 adidas NMD Primeknit Triple Black 2 adidas NMD Primeknit Triple Black 3 adidas NMD Primeknit Triple Black 4

There’s good news and bad news about the upcoming adidas NMD R1 Japan Black Boost. The good news is that adidas has figured out a way to create Boost in a color other than White. The bad news is that the shoe appears to be releasing internationally, and not in the U.S.. Damn.

Coming in an all-Black aesthetic, the adidas NMD R1 comes with a Black upper, a Black Boost sole unit, Black branding, laces, heel tab and eyestay. The only form of contrast is by way of the ankle collar as White accents create a striped pattern. Said to be releasing on June 10th (internationally), we will be sure to let you know if and when these get a U.S. release date.

Author’s Take

There is no doubt that if these end up arriving stateside, they will be one of the best colorways ever placed on the NMD model. Keep your fingers crossed, and we’ll make sure to let you know if that happens.

We got our first look at this upcoming adidas Ultra Boost Multicolor a few days ago, now we got some pretty sweet on-feet images to show the shoe in action. This Multicolor version combines the Multicolor Primeknit with White Primeknit all over the shoe. The addition of White Primeknit kind of stops the shoe from being a “true” Multicolor offering. A Red heel counter and a White caging system complete the main features on the upper. Below you will find the customary White Boost sole unit that cleans up the look of the shoe. Said to be releasing somewhere between June and August for $180, let us know if you plan on picking up once adidas decides to release them.

I wasn’t really feeling it when I saw the initial pictures, but this new look makes them look a little better. There is no doubt that they’re growing on me.

Our First Look At The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Canvas

Just because we’ve seen a handful of new upcoming adidas Yeezy models in the past couple of weeks doesn’t mean that adidas and Kanye are done with the uber-popular adidas Yeezy Boost 350. Judging by the new version of the shoe above, adidas has plenty of ideas left for the classic 350.

What you see above is the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 done in a canvas construction instead of the customary Primeknit we’re used to seeing on the shoe. Many people would argue that Primeknit is infinitely better than canvas, and they’re probably right. But if adidas decides to release this version, there’s a good chance that they will be priced cheaper than the regular Primeknit version. Are you feeling this alternative of the boost 350? Let us know in the comments below. Stay tuned to find out if/when these end up getting a release date.

Author’s Take

Not really a fan of canvas construction. Primeknit is cool, but not canvas. Easy pass for me.

Best Look Yet At The Glow-In-The-Dark adidas Yeezy Boost 750

Kanye’s taking us back to the days of Graduation and his infamous Glow In The Dark Tour with his latest adidas Yeezy Boost 750 thanks to the perfect combination of grey suede on the upper, gum outsoles, and a hidden glow-in-the-dark feature throughout the bottom. It’s a remnant from Ye’s Nike past, but works well in the new adidas context thanks to the subtle lifestyle upper that’s not too flashy with the tonal touches of suede pairing well with the classic gum bottoms. Rumors are that this Yeezy 750 Boost will land at retailers on June 11th for $350 USD but the Kardashian clan are already getting their pairs thanks to the family connect. Are you excited about the next adidas Yeezy release for Summer 2016? Check out a preview of the pair below and we’ll keep you updated on more release dates right here on Sneaker News.

adidas Originals Unveils Its 2016 Pride Pack

adidas Originals 2 adidas Originals adidas Originals 1 adidas Originals 3

To honor and celebrate the spirit of the LGBT community, adidas unveils its latest Pride pack this year, as June is notably proclaimed as the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month.

Utilizing the brand’s timeless silhouettes — the Superstar and Stan Smith — the Superstar is draped in black, while a multicolor paint splatter that evokes the LGBT flag is applied across the midsole and sides. The Stan Smith is a complete counterpart, as it’s doused in all-white, while the theme is directed at its heel tab and tongue, which showcases the colorful theme respectively.

You can expect to find these standout pairs at select adidas retailers starting tomorrow, June 1st.

Author’s Take

You can never go wrong with either silhouette. The homage is cool and supportive. Aside from the theme, they’re both perfect for the warm season.

I’m biased towards runners. I like the construction and style of this silhouette. These upcoming colorways are a solid option and should get some attention.

Hand-Quilted Lambskin Leather Covers This Custom adidas Yeezy Boost 350

Yeezy Boost 2 Yeezy Boost 1

It was only a couple of weeks ago that we saw The Shoe Surgeon create a custom adidas Yeezy Boost 750 that featured a handmade recrafted red suede constructed upper and a red Yeezy Boost sole.

Now The Shoe Surgeon is back again with another Yeezy custom, this time he got his hands on the adidas Yeezy Boost 350. This custom 350 features a completely reconstructed look that used a hand quilted lambskin leather on the upper. As you can see, the shoe is done in all-red while the signature Yeezy Boost sole is done in contrasting white.

What are your thoughts on this luxurious pair of 350 Boosts? Would you like to see adidas experiment with different materials like this or do you like the Primeknit look too much?

Another Look At The adidas Yeezy Boost 750 In Grey

After getting a closer look at the upcoming Grey/Gum colorway of the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 courtesy of Kris Jenner, we now get another look at what’s expected to be the next adidas Yeezy Boost release.

Covered in grey suede all throughout the upper, this Yeezy Boost 750 is then contrasted by a gum sole that glows in the dark. Additional details on this Yeezy Boost 750 include a midfoot strap, perforations on the toebox, and a zipper by the ankle.

This adidas Yeezy Boost 750 is expected to release on June 11th but we are still waiting for confirmation from adidas.

Author’s Take

This looks almost exactly the same as the first grey colorway that released except that it now comes with a gum sole. Can’t adidas make new colorways?
