The Popular adidas Y-3 Qasa Is Now A Summer Sandal

The adidas Y-3 Qasa has been holding down the three stripe’s lifestyle department for quite some time now, so when we got word that adidas Y-3 was turning it into a sandal, we weren’t the least bit surprised. Other brands have gotten in on the slide game this summer, with the likes of the Reebok Instapump Fury getting the convertible treatment too. The Qasa has seen countless installments in the past and seems to be a silhouette always on the cutting edge of trends and changes in the sneaker world. Here the neoprene straps hold the sandal together while an exposed toe and heel are encapsulated by a structured rubberized sole. What do you think of the Qasa Sandal? Check out a better view below and know that select sizes are available from Footpatrol today.

Kanyes June 6th YEEZY Footwear Releases Are Not With adidas

What’s going on with the adidas Yeezy line? We’ve yet to see a Yeezy Boost release in 2016 and now we’re getting word that Kanye’s latest YEEZY footwear launch will be on June 6th – without the help of adidas’ production. Pete Fox, President of the YEEZY label released the following statement:

?As a first of several launch announcements planned for this year, the highly anticipated YEEZY footwear collection from Kanye West?s own signature line will be released globally on June 6, 2016 in select high-end fashion boutiques, specialty stores and online.?

The statement makes sure to be crystal clear that adidas won’t have any involvement with the upcoming YEEZY launch as it’s been independently produced just like the YEEZY Season 2 drop. So what does that say about the three stripes and Kanye’s partnership going forward? Check out a brief preview of the upcoming collaboration courtesy of Highsnobiety.com and stay tuned for more release announcements right here on Sneaker News.

The adidas Tubular Invader consists as the brand’s latest lifestyle silhouette this season, which is rendered a vibrant colorway of red/white.

Essentially covering the model’s suede upper, the collar and heel section of the silhouette is comprised of a textured reptilian-like leather overlay. More suede is evident on the tongue, while the model features a branded elastic band on the heel for additional flair.

Offset against a crisp white rubber sole unit and more red adorning the heel, the sneaker is finished off with perforations on the toe box and the label’s iconic three-stripe motif across its side panels.

You can purchase a pair at select adidas locations nationwide now for $110.

Author’s Take

I like the simplicity of the profile. I can’t dislike this colorway either. I’m just biased towards it. The only thing I dislike is the textured detailing on the rear.

To follow-up on a recent black/white offering, the new adidas Originals Tubular Nova is rendered in another appealing colorway for Spring 2016, this time in beige.

Essentially covering the sneaker’s textile upper and distinctive suede overlays across its toe cap and intricately designed side panels which acts as the model’s lacing apparatus, the neutral tone is continued towards the rear and inner lining as well.

Additionally, the notable branded elastic band on its heel incorporates a slightly darker tone to complement the overall palette, while a crisp white tube-inspired sole unit finishes off the aesthetically pleasing profile.

You can purchase this pair at select adidas accounts overseas first, while a stateside release is imminent.

Author’s Take

I’m pretty biased towards this color combo. I probably would purchase it every style. I haven’t bought this model yet, but I’m already tempted with this variation.

Dont Sleep On This New Camo adidas NMD

ADIDAS NMD 1 ADIDAS NMD 2 ADIDAS NMD 3 ADIDAS NMD 4

When it comes to adidas there’s no denying that the NMD is the most popular sneaker right now. Since we haven’t seen a Yeezy Boost release in quite some time adidas has been giving us more than enough colorways of the new NMD silhouette to keep us happy for the moment.

However, you have to be pretty quick with the trigger finger because most colorways of the NMD that release sell out pretty quickly. A new camo colorway has just hit retailers as you can see in the images above. A combination of black and different shades of grey cover the mesh upper on this pair of NMDs while a contrasting white BOOST midsole adds some contrast.

You can look for this pair of NMDs at select retailers now, but don’t sleep because they won’t last long.

via: Renarts

Author’s Take

Camo looks good on the NMD. This just might be a pair I add to my sneaker collection since I still don’t have a pair of NMDs.

Any Cavs Fans Feeling This adidas Ultra Boost

ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 1 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 2 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 3 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 4 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 5

Are you a fan of the Washington Redskins? Arizona State Sun Devils? Cleveland Cavaliers? If you answered yes to any of these teams then this would be the ideal colorway of the adidas Ultra Boost for you.

Draped in a burgundy/maroon and yellow/gold Primeknit upper, this adidas Ultra Boost has recently surfaced and has us hoping that we see a release date in the near future. In addition to the burgundy and gold upper we see 3M detailing land on the adidas branding on the tongue as well as a White BOOST midsole to provide some contrast. Last but not least there is a black rubber outsole for traction.

There is no release date at the moment but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for any updates.

Author’s Take

Burgundy is one of my favorite colors on sneakers so I’m automatically a fan of this pair. I’m not too sure about combining it with gold/yellow though, I would have preferred to see a different color.

Take for example the adidas Tubular Invader. How many of you have heard of this Tubular model? Let’s put some shine on the shoe real quick.

The Tubular Invader comes constructed out of a suede upper. The heel region appears to be made out of some sort of textured material. A plastic heel cage connects to the suede placed on front portion of the shoe. Leather lining and a suede tongue tag give the shoe a premium touch and feel, while the predominantly white midsole cleans things up a bit. If you take a look at the back portion of the sole, you will notice that the red part of the sole comes with your traditional Tubular motif. Perforations on the toe, and Three Stripes complete the look of the shoe. Available now, pick up your very own pair for $110.

Author’s Take

I would have preferred if the entire sole come with the traditional Tubular look, I think it would have made the shoe look a lot better.
