White Mountaineering and adidas are linking up once more to give us another NMD collaboraion. This time they opt to give the brand new adidas NMD Trail a makeover done in two different colorways. Here’s out first look at the White Mountaineering x adidas NMD Trail.

One thing worth mentioning is that this version of the adidas NMD Trail is not constructed exactly the same as the currently existing adidas NMD Trail. Yea, they appear to have the same  toothing on the outsole, but when it comes to the design on the upper, it does comes with new features. The White Mountaineering x adidas NMD Trail utilizes a fused protective piece around the toe and the White Mountaineering branding. This subtle addition to the shoe ends up changes the aesthetics quite a bit if you ask me. The first pair comes in Black and White, while the second pair comes in Navy, Red and White. More adidas NMD XR1 colorways with the NMD R2 style upper is releasing early in 2017. We already showed you the black NMD colorway last week, but this fresh preview of the Utility Ivy colorway features the dotted-line upper with hits of Core Red on the heel-tab and contrast stitching. A firm release date is unknown, but these will release for $140 exclusively for women.

Following its official reveal, new images of the forthcoming adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 in mystery grey are featured, as it’s expected arrival is set sometime for Spring 2017.

As suggested, the defining versatile hue covers its intricate primeknit upper and reinforcing three stripe caging system that’s also refined in a translucent finish. The signature TPU heel counter is rendered in black for a complementing touch, while a crisp white boost midsole unit and black continental outsole finishes off the classic colorway altogether.

It seems like adidas will finally be giving the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 the all-white treatment with the upcoming colorway that is expected to release in early 2017.

This Yeezy Boost 350 V2 features an all-white Primeknit upper with a milky white semi-translucent Yeezy Boost midsole. Just like every other 350 V2, this pair comes with the ?SPLY-350? branding on the side panels.

At the moment these are scheduled to release in the Spring of 2017 for a suggested retail price of $220. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for the latest updates.

SHOP: MIKITYPE x adidas NMD City Sock

The Three Stripes has an adidas NMD City Sock collaboration in the works. This time around they team up with MIKITYPE to release a Black covered in Japanese calligraphy.

MIKITYPE is a Japanese calligrapher, which is how the theme of this shoe came to fruition. The MIKITYPE x adidas NMD City Sock will feature a Core Black upper that appears to keep aesthetics at a minimum with the exception of MIKITYPE?s font in White appearing on the EVA plugs, the medial side of the shoes, the insoles and heel tabs. Additional White can also be found on the Boost midsole. Pretty simple in design and color, butMIKITYPE?s font definitely helps the shoe stand out a bit. Thoughts on the MIKITYPE x adidas NMD City Sock? Stay tuned to find out when these get a release date.

Juan Carrillo, News: The font used on the upper is a nice subtle addition to the shoe. My only complaint would be that I’d want more of it, perhaps on the lateral sides as well. Aside from that, it’s pretty clean.

Adidas made quite a splash in the NFL this year as a few of their athletes debuted the Yeezy 350 Cleat and Yeezy 750 Cleat. But the fun won’t stop in the regular season, it’ll continue in the playoffs.

Jimmy Graham of the Seattle Seahawks is gearing up for his playoff matchup this weekend against the Detroit Lions and he may be wearing this new grey colorway of the adidas Yeezy 750 Cleat. Graham posted this picture on his social media of a grey suede Yeezy 750 Cleat with a black cleated sole making them ready for the field. Look for a handful of adidas athletes to possibly be wearing Yeezy cleats throughout the NFL postseason.

The adidas EQT Support ADV was one of adidas’ new silhouettes that they introduced in 2016 (personally one of my favorites) which released in a handful of colorways. So how will they make it better in 2017? Simple, by adding a Primeknit upper.

Already having taken a look at a white/black colorway, today we get a glimpse at another new color option with this black/white pair. As advertised, this revamped version of the EQT Support ADV replaces the original mesh upper with a new lighter and more breathable Primeknit. Other details include ribbon three stripes branding on the side panels, a white sole unit, and a splash of Turbo Red on the heel.

The adidas NMD City Sock, which debuted in 2016, will be getting a sequel in 2017 with the release of the NMD City Sock 2.

Today we take a first look at the shoe which features the same slip-on mid/high top construction along with the familiar Primeknit upper. This colorway seen above features a navy on the majority of the upper with a circular pattern overlay done in white on the midfoot. Other details include leather heel pull tabs and a contrasting white sole unit.

LGBT Pride Month will be taking place in June and it appears that adidas will once again be supporting the movement for equality among all genders.

Seen above is a first look at the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 LGBT which features a blacked out Primeknit upper with a matching side panel cage overlay. The LGBT connection is made on the heel counter which features a rainbow gradient pattern. Other details include a white Boost midsole and blacked out Continental rubber outsole.

It’s January, and that means the annual barrage of Chinese New Year themed kicks are beginning to hit the shelves. By now you’ve seen Jordan Brand’s offerings, and adidas impressed with the colorful Chinese New Year Ultra Boost. It looks like that isn’t all the Three Stripes have up their sleeves for The Year of the Rooster, as today images have surfaced of an upcoming EQT Support 96/16 in its own festive makeover.

The shoe that combines the upper of the classic EQT Support 93 with the comfort of the Ultra Boost sole is featured with a creamy off-white tonal upper with the TPU support shank in green, while special graphic insoles and a rooster hangtag are added to celebrate the Chinese New Year. It appears that at least select pairs will be contained in a special wooden box. No exact release date has been announced yet, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for further updates.

Big sportswear brands continue to stand up for the LGBT community through special edition releases. We’ve seen Nike do so through their ongoing “Be True” releases featuring rainbow colored accents on some of their more relevant models, and adidas even joined the effort with their popular adidas Stan Smith and adidas Superstar retro silhouettes featuring rainbow paint speckles with a portion of proceeds going to benefit New Avenues for Youth. The three stripes will continue that effort with an upcoming adidas Ultra Boost LGBT slated to release in May 2017 to help usher in LGBT Pride Month come June. The adidas Ultra Boost LGBT features that 3.0 updated Primeknit in black to match the three stripe cage overlay while the heel support gets a unique rainbow pattern. Up next for the unique looking adidas Springblade Solyce is this Triple Black offering that results in a monochromatic finish on the shoe. The adidas Springblade Solyce is constructed out of both mesh and synthetic materials to help give the shoe its one of a kind look. The shoe’s most notable feature (apart from the outsole) is the speed lace construction that end up complimenting the tuned blades on the outsole very nicely. The tuned blades are utilized on the shoe to help compress and release energy while propelling you forward with every step.
