In addition to another black boost iteration, the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged will be offered in another versatile colorway as part of its Spring/Summer 2017 lineup.

The defining hue essentially covers its signature primeknit construction and upon closer inspection, the knitted composition is subtly accentuated with orange and blue threading as well. A tonal grey TPU heel counter further reinforces its profile, while the sneaker is topped off with a complementing white boost midsole unit and black outsole.

Retailing for $180, you can purchase this variation of the silhouette at select adidas retailers sometime later this Spring 2017.

Eugen Merher of Germany created this short minute-and-a-half film which depicts a retired runner, stuck in the confines of a retirement home, who finds motivation to “break free” after discovering his old adidas running shoes. The staff goes as far as confiscating his shoes, but it’s the fellow inhabitants of the facility, who also find hope in his efforts, that aid him in the jailbreak. Merher states that he tried sending it to adidas, but there was no response.

The video was posted on YouTube some weeks ago and is inching towards 1 million views already, but it deserves a lot more attention for its creativity and inspiring message. Check it out below.

The first-ever adidas NMD R1 Primeknit is set for a return on January 14th, 2017, but it appears that one store in the UK might’ve dropped them earlier – and on sale. Office and its sportswear-focused Offspring boutique has the first adidas NMD colorway on their website on sale for 100 GBP, although this could be an error on the shop’s side. Even if this is just a snafu, the black adidas NMD with red and blue “bumpers” is set to drop next Saturday, January 14th. Check out Office and Offspring to see if you’ll get lucky.

At first this looks like a simple light grey colorway for the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged. But look a little closer and you’ll see that the grey is accented with subtle hints of colored detailing woven into the Primeknit upper. The colors are so light, in fact, that in these images we can’t even quite tell exactly what hues are present, but it appears to be orange, blue, and maybe green intertwined into the light grey. You’ll also notice that these feature a grey outsole, in place of the usual black or white for the Ultra Boost’s Continental rubber sole. It looks like adidas is really excited about the Chinese New Year this year. We’ve already seen the Ultra Boost drop in a special makeup, and the EQT Support 93/16 is coming soon in a special colorway and packaging for the Year of the Rooster. Now we learn that the Three Stripes are dropping at least three more special Chinese New Year sneakers for 2017, the Stan Smith, Superstar, and Tubular Radial. All three in matching colorways, the trio feature all black uppers?in leather for the Stan Smith and Superstar and a mix of leather and neoprene for the Tubular Radial?with contrasting white soles and special “feathered” cut leather detailing at the heels to mimic the look of a roosters feathers. Each also receives a rooster graphic embroidery for an extra festive touch. No official release date has been revealed yet, but expect the Year of the Rooster pack to arrive at adidas Originals retailers in the USA soon.

Following a worldwide release on Black Friday, November 26th, the highly-coveted BAPE x adidas capsule collection of 2016 will finally be offered to Western Europe this month, after its proposed arrival on December 22.

According to reputable source @theyeezymafia, the overseas release date is scheduled for Thursday, January 12th, and the select adidas flagship locations will organize their own release, as availability on the Confirmed app won’t be offered. Quantities are expected to be extremely limited.

The standout range is highlighted by Bape?s signature ?1st camo? motif, which is implemented on two variations of the NMD silhouette. In addition, two Firebird track jackets and the ID96 down jacket complete this entire range.

The all-new adidas Dame 3 made its debut last month when it released in the all-red Roots colorway. One of the next colorways to release will be this Chinese New Year pair that is seen above.

Ladies, this new colorway of the adidas NMD XR1 is made just fro you, but we’re pretty sure there’s going to be lots of guys who are going to try and fit into a pair. Today we take an official look at the upcoming adidas NMD XR1 Utility Ivy.

This version of the adidas NMD XR1 comes with a designed upper we’re used to seeing on the NMD XR2 version. That means that the design of the upper consists of a Utility Ivy base paired up with the Black dotted-line motif. In addition, the shoe also comes with hits of Core Red on the heel as well as on the stitching surrounding the heel tab. A White Boost midsole paired up with tonal EVA plugs complete the look of the shoe. No release date yet, but expect these to retail for $140.
