The adidas Originals Xplr will soon arrive stateside in a brand new colorway. This time around the shoe opts for a clean Blue tonal upper sitting on top of a White sole. If you’re not too familiar with this model, it boasts similar traits we’re used to seeing on today’s sleek runner-type silhouettes.
The adidas Originals Xplr comes with an upper constructed out of synthetic leather overlays accompanying the mesh build upper. Additional synthetic leather is found on both the heel and tongue tag. The shoe’s toggle-assisted lacing system is without a doubt the most unique feature on the shoe. The all-Blue upper is then placed on top of a White foam sole to create some nice overall contrast. Out now, find these at international retailers and expect them to drop stateside in the near future.
adidas And Kris Bryant Just Announced A Multiyear Partnership Extension

MLB NL MVP Kris Bryant and adidas just announced a multiyear partnership extension. This announcement means that Bryant will continue to play a leading role in brand marketing campaigns as well as with collaborations on future baseball cleats and accessories.
“It’s a phenomenal time to be partnered with adidas with all the energy and momentum that the brand has right now,” said Bryant. “adidas embraced me as part of the family from the start. It’s been a great collaboration and we share a vision for creating the future.”
With Bryant being only 24 years old and already considered one of the best player in the world, adidas has something special in store with him, that why the extension appeared to be a no-brainer.
“Kris Bryant is an incredible player,” said Mark King, adidas Group North America president. “What I love about him is just how humble and appreciative he is to be playing the game of baseball. In so many ways, he’s just a regular kid who loves talking about little league games and hitting homeruns off his dad. There are a lot of people with talent out there, but they don’t hit 26 homeruns as a rookie, become MVP and lead their team to a World Series win after a more than 100-year drought. Kris is creating history right before our eyes and what sets him apart is his love of the game and mindset. Yes, there’s pressure he feels, but for him it’s fun and enjoyable and he believes he can accomplish great things. His expectation is far greater than anything anyone else can put on him and he’s only at the beginning of his career. We’re so proud to call Kris part of our family. He is the future of baseball.”
Although Bryant is still a young player in the MLB, he’s been doing his thing for years now. In just four consecutive years, Bryant became the first player in history to win College Player of the Year, Minor League Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and National League MVP in successive seasons.
“At 23, Kris Bryant is an MVP and World Champion,” said Scott Boras, Bryant’s agent. “It was a privilege to work with adidas to create a historic agreement between two partners in excellence.”

The year is almost coming to an end, but not without more colorways of the adidas Gazelle. Already having released in a few different color options in 2016, we now bring you two more offerings of the retro silhouette.
Constructed in the traditional suede uppers, the two color choices of the adidas Gazelle above come dressed in your choice of Clear Sky with White leather detailing or Yellow with White leather detailing. Both pairs also feature the Gazelle branding in gold on the side panels along with white rubber midsoles.
You can add either pair to your collection now by finding them at select adidas Originals retailers for $80 each.
Lots of colorways of the Gazelle already released this year that I prefer over both of these. The yellow pair is decent, but I’d rather go with another pair.
