Puma Relives Childhood Memories With Sesame Street Collection

Sesame Workshop, the folks behind the legendary Sesame Street television series, has teamed up with Puma to revive some of your favorite childhood memories in the form of this coming collaboration featuring the iconic Puma Suede and Puma Basket silhouettes. The collection features all of the beloved characters from the show that’s now celebrating 47 years of being television, helping to educate children in the realm of basic 123s and ABCs. The familiar faces of Bert and Ernie, Big Bird, Elmo, and Cookie Monster all appear in a simple all-over graphic in white and black options on the two classic Puma silhouettes. That’s not the only offering that’s available though, as other footwear options include the retro Puma Prevail OG with a slight twist – premium suede accents match the faces of Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch and Elmo’s faces peeking out on the tongue for a playful update. Slides will also be available in the coming days. Both adult and kids sizes will release beginning March 10th, 2017 on Puma.com.

Puma Introduces Big Sean As New Global Ambassador

Puma continues to look to the world of hip-hop for the brand’s growing list of inspirations after their incredibly successful partnership with Rihanna. The latest news from the legendary German sportswear brand is that they’ve enlisted Detroit’s own Big Sean to be their new global ambassador and a recurring collaborator for the foreseeable future. Big Sean, like many of his G.O.O.D. Music family members, has collaborated with rival adidas Originals in the past and is set to debut his own exclusive collection with Puma in Spring 2018. In the meantime, he’ll be the face of the latest Puma Classics campaign this summer featuring the likes of the Puma Suede, the Puma Clyde, and the modernized T7 Track Jacket and Pant modeled in this image set featuring a retro Detroit Lions-inspired Puma graphic on the back. (It should be noted that the apparel was custom made for the photo shoot and isn’t set to release anytime soon, but hopefully we see that graphic return for Big Sean’s 2018 collection). Using the motto ?when the past meets the future, BLACKRAINBOW and Puma decided to give the Clyde a major aesthetic upgrade. The base of the shoe appears to remain untouched, but the addition of the ankle sock not only makes the shoe a high top, it also drastically modernizes the look. The sock is constructed out of Puma?s evoKNIT technology while suede is used on the panelling. Additional features include the perforated form stripe and the vulcanised rubber sole unit. The COOGI x Puma Clyde Sweater Is On The Way

Remember when we provided you with a first look of this COOGI x Puma Clyde Sweater collab way back in November of last year? For those of you patiently waiting for these these to drop, you won’t have to wait much longer since they’re set to make their debut next week.

Puma and COOGI signed a new partnership that will have them collaborate on a handful of projects in the near future. This first piece to drop is this new Puma Clyde that is covered in an all-over authentic COOGI material. What’s really dope about this design is that no two pairs are alike when it comes to the print on the knitted upper, each have their own unique look. The colorful look of the shoe is toned down a bit by way of the White midsole and the additional Black on the stripe and laces. Gold foil Puma branding and dual-branded soles are also incorporated on to the collab. They even decided to add a bit of luxe aesthetic to the shoe as the lace tips and eyelets have an 18K gold plate. The shoe will be releasing on March 9th, which happens to also be the 20th anniversary of Biggie Smalls, who was notorious for rocking the COOGI sweater. Is this a must cop? COOGI And Puma Set To Release The Clyde

COOGI, one of the most culturally influential brands in history, is teaming up with Puma to dress up the equally iconic Clyde model in two ways. The first release, set to drop on March 9th, features complete COOGI sweater uppers taken from on spool of material ensuring that no pair is like another. This elevated offering also comes with 18k gold lace-tips and eyelets with a gold Puma logo on the tongue. Later this Spring, Puma and COOGI will deliver another Clyde with an assortment of apparel.

The COOGI x Puma Clyde (full sweater upper) is set to release exclusively at PUMA Lab Powered by Foot Locker, KITH, and Nice Kicks LA on March 9th. Release details for the black pair will be revealed soon.

Just like its counterpart, this version of the classic Basket silhouette comes constructed out of a reptilian textured upper done in Black with gold hits on the Puma branding on the tongue and heel. Suede overlays are then seen on the Puma formstripe, the eyestay, tongue, and heel tab. The textured upper is then offset by a platform gum rubber outsole.

Known as the Puma Basket Platform, this luxurious version of the Basket features a reptilian upper done in Natural Vachetta with gold hits on the Puma branding on the tongue and heel. Our First Look At The Rihanna x Puma Fenty Bow Collection

The latest collaborative effort between Rihanna and Puma appears to be about one week away. Today we get our first look at what’s said to be the Rihanna x Puma Fenty Bow Collection.

Consisting of one slide and one sneaker, both pairs from the collection come in a tonal Pink hue topped off with a large bow in the same colorway. The sneaker comes with a satin upper and appears to be inspired by Puma models such ad the Puma R698. The slide appears to be done in the same fashion. Pink sneakers/slides with a huge bow on it, are you down with that look? If so, look for these to begin releasing on March 9th.

Trapstar And Puma Have Four More Sneakers For Spring 2017

Trapstar and PUMA continue their ongoing collaborations with a new set of sneakers this spring. Decidedly much more toned down than most of the previous team-ups from the London fashion label and PUMA, this new set contains the classic Clyde and the Prevail retro runner each in simple black and olive colorways. Both feature tonal uppers in either black or green, with nothing but premium nubuck for the Clyde and a mix of nubuck, leather, and mesh for the Prevail. Special details include a large script Trapstar logo on the ankle of each Clyde and their “T” logo on the heels of both models.

The Trapstar x PUMA spring 2017 collection is slated to release March 3rd at atmos in Tokyo, so expect them here in the US at select PUMA stockists soon.
