Caroll Lynn aka Careaux (illustrator and sneakerhead from Amsterdam) links up with Puma once more to release this upcoming Careaux x Puma Spring 2017 Collection. The collection consists of both footwear and apparel creations.

Careaux is made a name for herself on social medie for the unique digital artwork. Her work spoke for itself and garnered plenty of attention from the streetwear world. Now she gets to create sneakers and apparel influenced by her own style of art. Said to be nspired by the designer?s travels through Asia, Careaux manages to translate the classic Japanese cloud design along its organic detailing on to her signature triangular illustrations. This can be seen on the Puma seen above that manage to create a look and feel that half sportswear and half fashion. Gold branding and bold Japanese and floral graphics are also noted on the sneakers. For those of you who had a hunch that the upcoming Packer Shoes x Puma Clyde collab was inspired by something Clyde Frazier related, guess what, you’re right? Known as the Packer Shoes x Puma Clyde Cow Suits, the three pairs are actually inspired by the wild suits Clyde is known for wearing.

As mentioned yesterday, this Packer Shoes x Puma Clyde Cow Suits pack consists of three different pairs to choose from. The first two pairs comes in Red or Black. They are constructed out of a suede upper and come equipped with faux cow fur on the Puma formstripe on the side panels. Additional features include the tonal laces, branding in Gold, the premium leather tongue label and the White sole unit.

The third pair is said to be a Friends and Family exclusive. This limited colorway opts for a faux cow fur upper done in Deep Royal Blue and accented by the Gold accents and an Orange cow print sockliner. The choice of colors pays homage to Clyde’s ties with the New York Knicks.

The Packer Shoes x Puma Clyde Cow Suits will release on March 31st both in-store and online at Packer Shoes. The Blue colorway is said to be limited to only 73 pairs as a nod to the ?73 Knicks. Retail price is $110.

You can’t deny that Walt “Clyde” Frazier’s sartorial decisions are one of a kind. Walt doesn’t curtail to trends and has remained true to his personal tastes since bursting onto the court during the 1970s in his signature Pumas, and he hasn’t stopped since. As a color commentator for the New York Knicks, you can always spot Walt in a crowd given his unique wardrobe, and now Packer Shoes is paying homage to the NBA legend with an upcoming trio of Puma Clyde colorways in a nod to Frazier’s eclectic aesthetic.

Known as the Packer Shoes x Puma Clyde Cow Suit Collection, the trio features synthetic suede complete with bold cow prints in red, royal, and black. It’s worth noting that the standout royal pair will be available exclusively at Packer Shoes and is limited to only 73 pairs in a nod to the championship that Walt brought to the city of New York in 1973. Packer even gifted Clyde with a matching blue cow print suit for his birthday, and will present it to the legend this Wednesday as a gift from the boutique, Puma, and Clyde’s personal tailor, Mohan’s. All three colorways debut on Friday, March 31st for $110.

So I had this fantastic pitch to PUMA. We’re going to get the recently released Sesame Street collab featuring the PUMA Basket and PUMA Suede Cookie Monster colorways and do a photo shoot with my two and a half year-old nephew. He was already a fan of Cookie Monster anyways (mainly because I already got him the last PUMA Cookie Monster collab for Christmas and his dad – my brother – is just as much of a Cookie Monster stan as I am) so it was going to be easy to get the shoes on him. We also set up some milk and cookies to complete the whimsical effect. Well, you know what they say about the best laid out plans…

Take away the fact that the shoes are based on one of my all-time favorite characters, the revelation that I had from seeing these shoes in person is that they are of fantastic quality. Not every PUMA Suede is a looker in my opinion, but the quality on the Suede and the Basket. was something I expected out of a more higher-profile collab, not necessarily something that’s “just for kids”. Maybe because it’s Cookie Monster and they knew they had to represent for the GOAT. Yeah, that’s it. I’ll make myself believe that…

By the looks of things, it appears as if Packer Shoes and Puma will be linking up to release a trio of Puma Clyde models all rocking pony hair uppers.

Above you will find three pairs of the Clyde done in Red, Blue and Black pony hair uppers. Judging by the pictures above, the Blue pair opts for a pony hair construction all over the upper, while the other two pairs opts to only utilize it on the Puma stripes on the side panels. It should also be mentioned that the pony hair on the Red and Black come with some kind of pattern/print on it to give the shoe a little bit of “extra” aesthetics. Initial thoughts? It looks like Packer shoes is saddling up with Puma this spring for a new collab on the Clyde. Today they took to Instagram to tease three colorways of the timeless sneaker with pony hair detailing. There’s no hints yet from Packer on the inspiration, but don’t be surprised if the three Clydes in all-blue pony hair or black and red suede constructions with speckled horse hair side stripes are inspired by Walt Frazier’s iconic fashion sense. Staple teams up with Puma to release the Staple x Puma Ignite evoKnit Oreo. As the nickname of the shoe suggests, this colorway of the Ignite evoKNIT comes in a classic Black and White aesthetic.

The Staple x Puma Ignite evoKnit Oreo comes in a evoKNit upper paired up with the bootie-constructed design that in turn ends up making the shoe a high-top. Additional details and features on the shoe include the taped paneling, the pull tabs on both the tongue and heel, the nylon strap fora additional support and structure and a TPU heel. The Puma Clyde continues to be one of the main focal points for Puma as the retro silhouette is constantly releasing in new colorways. Whether it’s a collaboration or an in-line release, the Clyde has put people on notice.

One of the latest releases comes with this Premium Pack that sees the Clyde dressed up in two different colorways. First we have an Artisan Gold colorway that comes dressed in a rich suede upper which is then followed up by the Sweet Grape iteration that sees the sneaker covered in nubuck. Additional details include leather inner liners, flat cotton laces, and leather formstripes on the side panels. Finishing off both pairs is gold foil Puma Clyde branding on the side panels and a white rubber sole unit.

The upcoming WWE x PUMA x Foot Locker collaboration brings together two of our favorite non-food related things, kicks and pro wrestling. It’s rare that these worlds collide since most WWE Superstars wear boots that no sneakerhead would be caught dead rocking, but every once in a while you get a few prominent names like a John Cena or a Shane McMahon or a Enzo Amore out there that switch things up and bring our Jordan retros and Nikes to the squared circle.

Using the iconic PUMA Clyde as their canvas, they tapped artist Alexander John to create renditions of some of the greatest Superstars in WWE history to be featured on the insoles of these kicks. Yes, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Randy “Macho Man” Savage, The Ultimate Warrior, Andre The Giant, and a stupid rare Undertaker version will be part of the collab, but it’s the Ric Flair one that is part of our discussion today. Flair is without a shadow of a doubt, the epitome of style both in and out of the ring. Nobody lived the gimmick like Flair and he has the legacy and the adoration of the fans today to prove just how iconic he was and still is. Meanwhile, you could say the same about Walt “Clyde” Frazier. If Clyde had chosen wrestling instead of basketball as his profession, he would have been competing with Flair in the limousine riding and jet riding department. So how is it possible that we’ve managed to go this long and not have a debate about who was better at stylin’ and profilin’, Clyde or Ric? We tried to settle that today.

As a sneaker account on Twitter, one would think that Clyde would have the advantage, because you know, it is his signature shoe that WWE is using for this collab, and it’s not like Clyde has been out of the spotlight for years. But don’t underestimate the appeal of The Nature Boy (#2, if you’re nitpicking like Scott Steiner) as people took sides like it was Stone Cold vs. The Rock at Wrestlemania again.

A few days ago we let you know about a special upcoming three-way collaboration between the WWE, Puma and Foot Locker. Set to release next month, today we give you a first look at the sneaker and apparel that make up the collaboration.

The collection consists of a special capsule centered around the Puma Clyde. Although the shoe’s uppers appeal to all be similar, it’s subtle features such as the custom laces and insoles that help differentiate each pair from each other. Above you will find that some of the biggest WWE legends are well represented in the collection. All-time greats such as The Ultimate Warrior, Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Macho Man Randy Savage, The Undertaker and Andre The Giant can all be seen on the custom insoles designed by Alexander John. Additional features include custom laces with the wrestler’s names on them, WWE branding on the heel, and additional Gold branding on the tongue, side panels and the side of the heel. All the Puma Clydes come in a White leather upper with the exception of the 23 Black pair of the Undertaker version that will be released in special casket-style shoe-boxes.

The Puma Clydes from the WWE x Puma x Foot Locker will release on April 1st for the retail price of $199. The limited edition Black Undertaker version will retail for $499 and will only be available exclusively at the Orlando location (location of this year’s Wrestlemania). In addition to the sneakers, the capsule will also include limited edition  tees that will be retailing for $44.99. The shoes will be available at select Puma Lab powered by Foot Locker locations nationwide on April 1st

Just before Wrestlemania 33 goes live in Orlando, FL, the WWE, Puma, and Foot Locker will release a special capsule of Clydes inspired by legends of the sport.
