Author’s Take

Very clean colorway of the Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit. I like the combination of a multicolor flyknit upper with black accents and the white sole unit is also a nice touch.

Comparing The Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Safari With The 2016 Retro

Comparing The Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Safari With The 2016 Retro 1 Comparing The Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Safari With The 2016 Retro 2 Comparing The Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Safari With The 2016 Retro 3 Comparing The Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Safari With The 2016 Retro 4

Next Monday we’ll be seeing the release of the Nike Air Max 1 Safari which is essentially a retro release of the Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Safari that released way back in 2002.

If you’re not familiar with the 2002 collaboration release with Atmos then here is a great side by side comparison between that release and the 2016 version courtesy of Overkill. The main differences include the new material that is used on the toe (canvas vs hairy suede), the overall lighter look of the 2016 version and the icy blue translucent outsole instead of the classic gum outsole.

Take a look at the images above and remember that the Nike Air Max 1 Safari will release on March 14th for a retail price of $150.

Another white multicolor option of the Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit will be arriving at retailers later this year.

Pictured above are images of this new colorway that dresses up the classic Air Force 1 in a multicolor Flyknit upper along with contrasting white accents on the midsole/outsole, tongue, laces, heel tab and the Swoosh branding on the side panels.

No release information is available yet for this new white multicolor version of the Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit yet but we’ll be sure to update you as soon as we know more here at Kicks On Fire.

Author’s Take

I’m still on the fence on whether or not I should pick up a pair of the Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit. This new white multcolor pair is pretty nice but there’s other pairs that I would prefer over this one.

A First Look At The Nike Kobe 5, Kobe 6, and Kobe 7 From The Fade to Black Pack

We’ve been hearing and seeing pictures a of what may possibly be the Nike Kobe Fade To Black Pack in the last couple of weeks but there had been no news or updates recently. That was until today.

A new picture leaked today featuring the Nike Zoom Kobe 5, Zoom Kobe 6 and Zoom Kobe 7, all which are believed to be the pairs from the FTB collection. The colors featured on each shoe are Tumbled Grey, River Rock and Blue Fox, respectively. The Kobe 5 is expected to release on April 3rd, the Kobe 6 on April 5th and the Kobe 7 on April 6th, with each pair retailing for $200.

Nike has not officially announced the release of this pack but with the first shoe from the collection expected to release next week it should only be a matter of time until we hear from the Swoosh.

Author’s Take

We need to stop seeing all these leaks and Nike needs to just show us the entire collection already. People need to know what shoes they like from the collection so they can plan accordingly because with each shoe retailing for $200 things are gonna get really expensive real quick.

Nike Just Released The LeBron 13 Low

One sign of the Summer season being close by? The annual release of LeBron James’ signature shoes, of course. Today, we’ve learned that Foot Locker has just released the Nike LeBron 13 Low in a super-clean white/metallic silver colorway; unlike the LeBron 13 mid-top performance shoe, the Low lacks the Posite pieces and features visible Air Max on the heel – a mainstay of the low-top LeBrons ever since Jason Petrie took over back in 2009. Hit your local Foot Locker now if you’re feeling these warm-weather LeBrons.

NikeLab Air Force 1 Low Flyknit Multi-Color

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Flyknit is back in action with another new take on “Multi-Color”. NikeLab knows what works and the combination of premium black leather, camouflaged black Dynamic Flywire, and a simple ice-less pearl white outsole to give the coveted Multi-Color aesthetic a clean backdrop to truly shine. Unoike the pairs that released before, this upcoming colorway ditches the icy portions on the outsole’s toe and heel for a monochromatic white to harken back to the earliest days of AF1 dominance. What do you think of the latest Multi-Color take? Check out more photos below and know that you can grab your pair online and at NikeLab locations this Monday, March 14th.

Kevin Durant Spotted Wearing A New Colorway Of The Nike KD 8 Elite

Nike KD 8 Elite 1 Nike KD 8 Elite 2

Nike officially unveiled the Nike KD 8 Elite about two weeks ago but we still haven’t seen Kevin Durant lace them up on the court. Since the shoe doesn’t officially release until April that probably means that Nike may still be trying to milk the original KD 8.

Durant was recently spotted wearing the KD 8 Elite for the first time but not during a game, during practice. The color he was wearing is dressed in a full orange upper with blue detailing on the Nike Swoosh branding. Maybe a road colorway?

There is no word on whether or not these will release down the line but we’ll keep you updated with the latest here at Kicks On Fire.

Kevin Durants Nike KD 8 Elite Creamsicle

The perfect sneaker for those who forget their socks at home aka the Nike KD 8 Elite is launching in just a few weeks, but Kevin Durant is already sporting them in a colorway that probably won’t see the light of day at retail. The annual “Creamsicle” look is back on the KD 8 Elite and on the feet of the man himself, who was spotted sporting the innovative sneaker during a shoot-around today. The big question remains – will the KD 8 Elite be featured in the Finals? If so, the OKC Thunder need to blast through the Clippers, Spurs, and Warriors. We can’t wait for the Playoffs to kick off, so stay tuned to Sneaker News to see what dope kicks the big brands have in store for their star players.

Our First Look At The Nike Air Max Day HTM

Air Max Day is on March 26th. Last year Nike gave us the one before the 1. I’m talking about the Nike Air Max Zero. This year they look to impress us once again by giving us something we’ve never seen before. Today we take a look at what we’re currently calling the Nike Air Max Day HTM.

The shoe you see above is said to be the HTM (Hiroshi, Tinker, Mark) release for Air Max Day. Notable features on the shoe include the 360 Air Max sole with the wording on the rear end of it. The shoe also appears to have an upper construction that looks very much like the Nike Roshe LD 1000 SP. Did you also take note of the HTM branding on the bubble tag? This version of the shoe comes in a navy blue nylon upper contrasted by the white accents placed on the Nike Swoosh, heel tab and lining of the shoe. The 360 Air Max comes with black piping right above the smoky/clear sole unit. No word yet on whether this is a limited/exclusive/friends and family release, but as soon as we find out more information about this potential release we will be sure to let you know.

Author’s Take

Interesting. I’ll reserve my judgement until I get more information on the shoe.

A white midsole wraps things up on this instant classic colorway of the Air Penny 2.

Unfortunately I missed out on watching Penny play during his prime and I only got to see him in his post-Magic days. The Air Penny 2 is one of the better non-Jordan sneakers from the 90?s and this Miami Heat colorway is very nice.
