Official Images Of The Nike Air Max Zero Tokyo
By SoleInsider
We just learned the news that the Nike Air Max Zero will be landing on NIKEiD beginning on March 28th. But a couple of days before that we’ll be seeing the release of a women’s exclusive colorway of the highly sought after silhouette.
Known as the Nike Air Max Zero Tokyo, this pink-based colorway of the Air Max sneaker features a special wave pattern on the toe and heel inspired by traditional Japanese art. In addition to the pink upper we also see blue and white detailing land on the shoe along with “TKO” lace dubraes. The official colorway is listed as Champagne, Midnight Navy and White.
The Nike Air Max Zero Tokyo exclusively for women will be releasing on Air Max Day, March 26th. Take a look at the official images above and let us know if you plan on picking up a pair.
I?m sure these will sell out almost instantly on Air Max Day. I also wouldn’t be surprised if you see grown men trying to fit into a pair like they did with the pink 12s.
The Nike Air Max Zero Is Coming To NIKEiD This Month
By SoleInsider
The Nike Air Max Zero was unveiled and released to the public for the first time last year and had everyone talking about “the one before the one.” The debut blue and white colorway sold out instantly and people were immediately left wanting more. Earlier this year Nike released the OG yellow and white colorway that was featured in Tinker Hatfield’s first sketches of the design, and it also sold out instantly.
Now today we find out some amazing news for fans of the silhouette. The Nike Air Max Zero will be available on NIKEiD beginning on March 28th, two days after Air Max Day. Nike hasn’t announced how exactly we’ll be able to customize the shoe yet or how long it’ll be available, all they gave us was a look at the pair that soccer superstar Neymar designed which comes in a tonal volt colorway.
Make sure you stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for more details and updates.
I haven’t really liked any of the colorways that have released for the Nike Air Max Zero so it would be cool to buy a colorway that I can actually design myself. I look forward to seeing what options will be available.
Easter is less than two weeks away and Nike Basketball is expected to once again release their annual Easter Collection featuring the LeBron 13, Kobe 11, KD 8 and Kyrie 2. Today we take a look at a few new images of the Kyrie 2 that come sdressed for the holiday.
This Easter version of the Nike Kyrie 2 features White on the majority of the upper but where things get really interesting is around the ankle. A colorful egg print/graphic has been splashed onto the ankle/heel area in a variety of different pastel colors that are a perfect representation of Easter eggs and the Spring season. The colors include Hyper Jade, Urban Lilac and Bright Mango. More color can also be seen on the outsole, Swoosh logo on the midsole and midfoot strap and the Kyrie branding on the tongue.
The Nike Kyrie 2 Easter is expected to release on March 25th so stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for official images in the near future.
Great idea and execution by Nike of placing the Easter egg print/colors on the ankle area of this Kyrie 2. So far it looks like this will be the best Easter shoe out of the entire Nike Basketball collection.
Nike Air Foamposite Pro University Red Releases In April
By SoleInsider
2016 started off in a huge way for the Nike Air Foamposite Pro with another “Yeezy” release, but things are about to heat up a bit with a much-requested colorway in the spotlight once again. “University Red” was last seen on this model back in 2002, and over a decade later it returns and couldn’t have come back at a better time. Although it seems like the red foam upper has a glossier, more metallic look as well as a leather eye stay, it still retains the basic qualities that made it such a sought-after shoe in the first place. Along with the original “Royal Blue” colorway it’s rumored that the “Dr. Doom” and “Carolina” versions of the silhouette may be dropping this year also, so if you are a fan of Foams, 2016 is about to hurt your wallet. Get a closer look at the sneaker below and expect it to hit retailers on April 16th, 2016
Upcoming Nike Air Max 1 Releases For Women To Feature Exciting New Graphic Print
By SoleInsider
More graphic prints are arriving on the Nike Air Max 1 in these two women’s exclusives for Spring 2016. The Jacquard woven material hits the numerous updated overlays atop Tinker Hatfield’s 1987 classic with a vague croc-skin print. Bostonians will love the color options too, as a Celtics-like white and green or Patriots/Red Sox navy and red keep things simple and subdued. Stay tuned for a release date in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, check out more photos below.

Nike Unleashes The Perfect Air Force 1 For St. Pattys Day
By SoleInsider
Right around this time every year, many become consumed in the craziness that is March Madness. However, there’s another significant event going on this week and that is St. Patrick’s Day, the traditional holiday typically marked with a lot of green and Irish whiskey. Nike usually has something special lined up for the holiday each year, and this time all the Air Force 1 fans out there are in for a treat- although the surfacing of this green could be a total coincidence. Last we saw of the remastered Air Force 1 High was a clean white/black version, and today Nike swaps out black for a green swoosh sole and strap. We’ve already seen silver, black, blue, and brown grace the silhouette in the same color blocking, so it was only right green arrives in March. While it may not release in time for St. Patrick’s Day in the U.S., this colorway has been popping up at overseas retailers now, so expect it to hit the states in the near future.
Two Tonal Colorways Of The NikeLab Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit Just Released
By SoleInsider
This morning we saw the release of a new Black Multicolor option of the Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit that was designed and released by NikeLab. But that wasn’t the only colorway that hit retailers.
There were two more options that were also designed by NikeLab. Both of them featured tonal uppers with one coming in all-red and the other in all-black. Both pairs were finished off with white sole units to provide a nice contrast. If you’re interested in any of the three pairs then you can head over to nike.com right now and pick up which ever one you prefer. All three pairs retail for $170.
Both of these tonal colorways are decent options and look good because of the contrast between the upper and sole unit. However I prefer the back multicolor pair over both of these.
Nike Expands Flyease Products For Disabled Athletes
By SoleInsider
LeBron James and designer Tobie Hatfield worked together to help disabled athletes through the use of unique zipper backings to help those suffering from limited hand functionality to tie their shoes themselves. What resulted was the creation of FLYEASE, one of our favorite stories from last year that saw Tobie and Nike set the plan in motion to create a strap-backing on the Nike LeBron Soldier 8 at the behest of Matthew Walzer, a young fan suffering from Cerebral Palsy.
Nike is back with a new collection of FLYEASE products for the Spring 2016 season featuring a trio of new models aimed to expand the collection to further benefit disabled athletes for the next year. LeBron’s Soldier series will be the focal point once again with the likes of the Nike Pegasus 32 getting a unique lacing system alongside the upcoming Nike Flex Run. Both kids and adult size runs plan on releasing in the near future.
The Nike LeBron Soldier 9 Flyease is available starting tomorrow, March 15th. The Nike Pegasus 32 Flyease will follow in a release for April 1st. The Nike Flex Run Flyease will be the last of the Flyease trio to release on May 1st. Check out more official photos below and stay tuned for more updates via our release dates page.
Following in the footsteps of the Air Jordan 3 Retro ’88 and the upcoming Air Jordan 6 Maroon, the Air Jordan 4 OG ’89 White Cement will have the coveted “Nike Air” on the heel to go along with the premium remastered treatment. Worn by Michael Jordan during the 1988-89 season, the White Cement colorway is one of the most popular Air Jordans ever made.
Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: When it comes to great debate between the Air Jordan 3 and 4, I fall on the side of the Air Jordan 3. While I could not care less if this or any other Air Jordan 4 comes back with “Nike Air” on the heel, I don’t doubt that this might be the biggest release of 2016 that we know of so far. Start saving your money, kids, because while $220 is a lot of money, the resale on these is going to be dumb. Just dumb. Like, really, really, really dumb.
Andres Carrillo, News: The Air Jordan 4 White Cement is probably my favorite sneaker of all-time and I?m fortunate to own the pair that released back in 2012. It?s going to be a tough decision on whether or not I?ll be picking up this new pair with Nike Air on the heel. I?ll probably make my decision at the very last minute.

Thought to be an exclusive colorway just for the Duke basketball squad, all Blue Devils-loving sneakerheads now get some great news: the Nike Kyrie 2 “Duke” is actually hitting retail. Nike Represents More Than Two-Thirds Of The Teams In The 2016 NCAA Tournament
By SoleInsider
Nike’s dominant run in the basketball category extends beyond the professionalism of the NBA to the collegiate ranks too. More than two-thirds of all teams entering the final 68 seeds included in the upcoming 2016 NCAA Tournament will be rocking some form of Swoosh branding on their uniforms and sneaker selections. That’s 44 total teams to increase the likelihood that you will see Nike branding galore when the National Champions hoist the trophy and climb the ladder to join the prestigious net collector’s society. To help ready fans for the excitement, Nike Basketball enlisted some of their marquee NBA athletes such as Kyrie Irving, DeMarcus Cousins, Draymond Green, DeMar DeRozan, Karl-Anthony Towns, Aaron Gordon, and Kelly Olynyk to don the new version of Nike’s Elite uniform set for this year’s tournament. You can check out the full story here, and be sure to fill out that bracket.
