Nike Officially Introduces The Supreme x NikeLab Air Max 98

Supreme x NikeLab Air Max 98 1 Supreme x NikeLab Air Max 98 2 Supreme x NikeLab Air Max 98 3

We’ve already gone over two different colorways set to be a part of the upcoming Supreme x NikeLab Air Max 98 collaboration, the pair coming in grey and the pair coming in black. Although the collaboration looks like it will in fact happen and release to the public, nothing official has come out of Nike thus far, until today.

Today Nike officially let everyone know that the collaboration will happen. Not only that, but they also gave us a first look of a third colorway coming in a red and grey motif. Notable features on the shoe include the 360-degree reflective piping and the clean color blocking placed on the upper. Air Max branding is placed on the tongue, Nike Swoosh on the side panels, “World Famous” lettering on the heel, Supreme on the toe and heel pull tab, and dual branding on the insoles all give the shoe the collaborative feel. No release date has been given on this pair either, but be sure to keep up with our Supreme x Nike Air Max 98 hub page to stay up to date with all the latest info and images.

Author?s Take

This one has more of a Supreme feel to them due to the excess of red on the shoe. I’m sure this one will be the most hyped out of the three that have been unveiled. Easy pass for me since I’m not down with the model or Supreme.

A new colorway of the beloved Flyknit Racer dropped a couple days ago. Dubbed the Fire & Ice, today we take a look at the official images of the shoe.

Said to be inspired by the two keys to post-run recovery, the Nike Flyknit Racer Fire & Ice comes constructed out of a Flyknit upper done in shades of blue and white. Red accents can be found on the branding placed on the tongue and the Nike Swoosh on the side panels. The black laces and lining get balanced out by the white midsole placed under the base. More of the same blue hue is placed on the front portion of the midsole, while a black outsole completes the look of the shoe. Available now for $150, let us know if you’re feeling this new colorway of Flyknit Racer.

Author?s Take

I know it’s a new colorway, but I feel like I’ve seen something like this in the past already. I love the Racers, I just wish new colorways would drop, a lot seems very repetitive.

1991’s Nike Air Icarus is only a shoe that running traditionalist will get excited about, but the classic is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary with a number of both new and OG looks in hopes of gaining a new generation of fans. The model is cool, never really been into SB, but the low cut look is something I would not mind wearing during the summer.

Nike SB Blazer Low GT Gorge Green

Thrasher Magazine’s 2011 Skater of the Year has yet to get his own silhouette with Nike Skateboarding, but we doubt that Grant Taylor minds getting his very own mock-up of the legendary Nike SB Blazer Low. Taylor has been known for his versatility on the board, one that’s both quick and powerful, so the addition of Lunarlon to the low-cut Blazer is perfect. The Nike SB Blazer Low GT has managed to be just as much a lifestyle offering as a fully functional skate model though, and a lot of that has to do with the materials used in creating the offering. Here a bolstered George Green suede base is accented by that large vintage Swoosh branding on the side panel, this time featured in a tonal Khaki comprised of hemp. Event the lining has lifestyle implications, as a red and black buffalo plaid contrasts for a unique twist. Pick up your size today from shops like Rock City Kicks.

Introducing The Nike SB Bruin Hyperfeel

Nike SB Bruin Hyperfeel 1 Nike SB Bruin Hyperfeel 2 Nike SB Bruin Hyperfeel 3 Nike SB Bruin Hyperfeel 4 Nike SB Bruin Hyperfeel 5 Nike SB Bruin Hyperfeel 6 Nike SB Bruin Hyperfeel 7

The Nike Bruin is considered a classic Nike basketball shoe that made its debut way back in the 1970s. Over the year, better basketball shoes were created and the Bruin was no longer a shoe that was used on the hardwood. That doesn’t mean that the shoe was no longer being used, as a matter of fact, people who skated decided to adopt the basketball model and use it for their own sport. Now, Nike SB has officially decided to make it a part of the family by revamping the classic model and naming it the Nike SB Bruin Hyperfeel.

The shoe will feature the same look as the Bruin, while at the same time utilizing Nike’s Hyperfeel concept. The performance technology is designed to deliver the ultimate board feel, mainly because of the shoe’s construction, PU drop-in sockliner and flexible rubber outsole. The upper will come with a suede and TPU skin construction, Hyperscreen overlays and a stretch mesh tongue gusset. The polyurethane (PU) drop-in sockliner will deliver soft and responsive cushioning since it’s actually thicker in the heel to give you added protection. In addition, the shoe also has articulate grooves in the forefoot to improve the board feel. Available now through the Nike SB app, the shoes will arrive at select shops and online beginning April 1.

Author’s Take

Good to see the Bruin transform into an actual skate shoe. Skaters were using it as is, imagine when they try this revamped version? I’m sure they’re going to love it.

Set to retail for $140, let us know what your initial thoughts are on the shoe.

Author’s Take

Not sure how the majority of the people are going to react to the shoe, but if I had to take a wild guess, I’d say that the “wheat” trends is over with. These will sit on shelves.

Happy Air Max Day everyone! Hope you’re rockin’ a fresh pair of Air Maxes regardless of wherever you are. If you happened to be at the Nike Air Max Vault and HTM Kitchen yesterday you may have spotted a few people you see on tv on a regular basis.

Several athletes made appearances at Nike’s Air Max Con. Tristan Thompson (Cleveland Cavaliers), Thaddeus Young (Brooklyn Nets), Janoris Jenkins (New York Giants) and Epiphanny Prince (New York Liberty) were all in attendance checking out the scene. They took the time to tour the Air Max Vault as well as the HTM Kitchen. It was obviously a big surprise to the fans in attendance as they weren’t expecting to see any athletes there. The players also had the chance to check out some of the interactive Air-Max inspired showcases which was hosted by several Masters of Air (Christophe Roberts, Mr. Flawless, etc.). Check out the images above to get a glimpse of what it was like.

Should Nike Be Concerned That Ben Simmons Is Rockin Yeezys

Ben Simmons, the nation’s top college basketball prospect was recently spotted wearing a pair of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Pirate Black. So. What’s the big deal? It’s actually bigger than you think.

Let me line this up for you. Ben Simmons is signed to Rich Paul’s agency, Klutch Sports Group. Rich Paul happens to be a very close and longtime friend of LeBron James, who also happens to be signed to Klutch Sports Group. As you all know, LeBron James is also a part of team Nike, so it was basically a given that Simmons would also seen ink a deal with Nike, right? Keep it all in the family, right? Not so fast.

Although that could still possibly happen, things have gotten a little bit interesting as of late. Simmons was recently spotted sitting courtside at the Bucks vs. Cavs game wearing a fresh pair of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Pirate Black. Wait, what? Simmons wearing adidas (and not Nike) in public? Although nothing is official yet, and Simmons has the right to sign anywhere he wants, why do you think Simmons opted to go with the 350s instead of some Nikes? Should Nike be worried or at least concerned? Can Nike find a way to screw this up? Will this be another Stephen Curry situation? Only time will tell.

Persian Violet Hits The Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Moire

The Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Moire is borrowing from another Air Max icon with the latest colorway, as the Nike Air Classic BW‘s Persian Violet theme translates nicely onto the updated tooling. The Ultra Moire style sees a lightweight construction on the outsole and new tech on the upper, from a near seamless build to hidden reflective 3M material on the mudguard perfect for those down to run at night. Micro-perforations throughout help add ventilation to the synthetic textile while embossed lines showcase the traditional panels of Tinker’s original 1987 creation. Check out a better view of the latest update to land on the Air Max 1 and let us know what you think of the look by taking your thoughts to the comments section.

A Laser-Cut Nike Lunar Flow Just Became Available

The Nike Lunar Flow is back in action, as the 2012 design is slated to return to retailers in the near future. Nobody could have predicted that Nike Sportswear would be bringing back this revitalisation of the 1989 classic that was the Nike Air Flow, and with releases like this premium black leather and white combination, NSW is showcasing what we’ve been missing out on. Usually draped in a neoprene construction, the Air Flow was a distant ancestor to the today’s popular offerings of the Sock Dart, certain Huarache releases, and even the Presto. Here, Nike showcases that the model wouldn’t be an Air Flow without some form of ventilation – that’s where interesting laser perforations consisting of sleek, precise lines slice through the smooth black leather construction for a unique aesthetic. Are you a fan of the latest Lunar Flow release? View more photos below and stay tuned for stateside availability later this Spring 2016 season.

Kevin Durant Seen Wearing The Nike KD 8 Elite High

Nike KD 8 Elite High 1 Nike KD 8 Elite High 2 Nike KD 8 Elite High 3

So it’s been almost a month since the Nike KD 8 Elite was unveiled. The feature/characteristic that stands out the most on the KD 8 Elite is the calf-length compression sock that runs halfway up your ankle. If you though that was kind of strange then you’ll be blown away by this new version.

Yesterday Kevin Durant was seen wearing a higher version of the Nike KD 8 Elite during shoot-around. As you can see in the images above the compression sock is no longer calf length but now rises almost all the way up to Durant’s knees. The colorway on this Nike KD 8 Elite High comes in an orange upper with blue accents on the branding and laces.

Do you think that anyone would ever buy these if they released? Take a look at the images above of KD rocking them and let us know your thoughts below.

via: SneakerReporter

Author’s Take

If that compression sock does what it’s supposed to do then that’s fine, but there is NO REASON whatsoever that people should be wearing this shoe off the basketball court. You’d look like a straight up fool.

Official Images Of The Nike Kobe 11 Brave Blue

Nike Kobe 11 Brave Blue 1 Nike Kobe 11 Brave Blue 2 Nike Kobe 11 Brave Blue 3 Nike Kobe 11 Brave Blue 4 Nike Kobe 11 Brave Blue 5 Nike Kobe 11 Brave Blue 6 Nike Kobe 11 Brave Blue 7

Last month we caught a first look at this upcoming blue and silver colorway of the Nike Kobe 11 that was scheduled to release in mid-April. Today we get a much better look at the shoe courtesy of official images.

This upcoming colorway of the Nike Kobe 11 features a gradient Flyknit upper that starts off with Brave Blue on the toe and then shifts to University Blue at the heel. University Blue also lands on the laces and the Kobe branding on the tongue. Metallic Silver provides some contrast as it can be seen on the Swoosh logos on the side panels. It is being said that this colorway of the Kobe 11 is inspired by Eric Avar, the man who design Kobe?s Nike sneakers. We should get confirmation from Nike on whether that’s true or not in the next couple weeks. One feature that makes this pair stand out from others is the patch on the right heel that reads ?I see beauty in the struggle.?

Take a look at the official images above and remember that the Nike Kobe 11 Brave Blue will release on April 14, 2016 for a retail price of $200.

via: Nike

Author’s Take

I would have liked this colorway much better if the entire Flyknit upper would have been Brave Blue and they would have just gotten rid of the University Blue detailing. The Metallic Silver Swoosh is also a nice touch. Still a solid colorway, but nor for $200.
