Nike Laser-Cuts The Air Tech Challenge II

Nike Sportswear loves to revamp the Nike Air Tech Challenge II in all sorts of premium detailing, and it isn’t that hard to see why. After the tennis majors implemented special edition toolings to coincide with Andre Agassi’s once-legendary apparel choices, the ATC was empowered to take more risks in the textile and material department for general releases. Today we get a look at an upcoming Air Tech Challenge II for Summer 2016, as a luxurious black upper takes a modernized approach thanks to laser-cut ventilations throughout. The usual vibrancy found on the 90s-era paint splatters is long gone here, and instead, a contrasting white midsole and outsole unit adds a simple yet refined aesthetic. Be sure to check out a detailed look at this upcoming NSW release below and know that international shops like Titolo are stocking this pair right now.

I’m pretty biased towards this model. I’m all for it in tonal finishes. This pair is too bright for my taste, but it’s still pretty appealing.

Nike Flyknit Racer Brave Blue

NIKE FLYKNIT RACER 1 NIKE FLYKNIT RACER 2 NIKE FLYKNIT RACER 3

Despite releasing a few years ago, the Nike Flyknit Racer remains one of Nike’s most popular sneakers. With news of the 2016 Multicolor colorway releasing next month just surfacing, people are definitely looking forward to the release.

If multicolor is just not your thing then you should know by now that Nike has a ton of other options when it comes to the Flyknit Racer. One of those new options that is beginning to arrive at select retailers is the Brave Blue colorway that you see above. Looking at this latest Racer we can see that the majority of the Flyknit upper is done in Brave Blue while minimal hits of Squadron Blue mix in with the dark upper. Providing some contrast are the hits of Volt on the Swoosh branding as well as on the Flywire that runs down the side panels. A White midsole and Black rubber outsole round out the look for this new colorway of the popular runner from Nike.

Are you a fan of the Nike Flyknit Racer Brave Blue? Let us know in the comments below and look for them to land at stateside retailers in the near future.

Author’s Take

The blue Flyknit upper is cool but I’m not a fan of the Volt hits. I would have been ok with minimal touches of Volt but there’s just too much on this colorway for my liking.
