Nike’s latest cross-training model utilizes a number of their most sought-after technologies to create a responsive and flexible ride. It’s known as the Nike Train Ultrafast Flyknit and features a new propulsion plate to support jumping and cutting, as well as a breathable and flexible Flyknit upper to support a dynamic range of motion. The Ultrafast’s 5/8th height collar furthers the whole sock-like fit that’s been taking over the sneaker world as of late while Flywire cables offer lockdown support. A lot of Under Armour’s growing footwear business can be attributed to the on-court success of Steph Curry, but for the unfamiliar, Senior Vice-President of Design Dave Dombrow played a large role in nearly every footwear project over the past five years. That was until Nike stepped in and stole Dombrow away from the brand back in March. But now things are getting interesting, as Dombrow is reportedly returning to Under Armour before he could even step inside of Nike’s Innovation Kitchen. Perhaps his decision change had to do with the fact that he was under a non-compete contract with UA and wouldn’t even be able to start working for Nike until 2017, according to The Drum. Dombrow will be back with UA come August 1st in a new position: Chief Design Officer, and we’re excited to see what he’s cooking up for Under Armour in the future.

ACRONYM is one of the select labels that got to chop up this upcoming remix, and they did so in three colorways, seen here for the first time. along with the navy-based and brighter neon/crimson version, a third olive green colorway rounds out the trio, which perfectly captures that tech-heavy look thanks to the sleek materials used to build this specific style. If the Nike SB Hyperfeel Koston 3 wasn’t unique enough, it just got even more distinguished by adding a big and bold SB branding hit on the shoe’s ankle sock collar.

Coming in two different colorways, you have the option of picking it up in off-White and Gum or Black and Rio Teal. As mentioned above, the SB logo will be printed on the ankle collar to give the shoe a new bold feature. The customary Nike Swoosh still appears on the side panels, while everything else appears to remain true to form. Very few color schemes are more classic on a sneaker than Black and White. If you’re looking for a pair rocking that look, might I suggest this new colorway of the Nike Air Pegasus 89.

The classic Nike running model dons the Black and White look as the shoe comes in a Black upper predominantly made out of a combination of ripstop nylon and mesh. Below the upper the White midsole adds contrast while also coming equipped with a cushioned EVA midsole and of course the Air sole unit. Lastly, the outsole comes with a waffle-inspired design that provides a substantial amount of grip and traction. Available internationally, let us know if you plan on scooping up a pair once they arrive stateside.
