More Colors Of The Nike Marxman Are On The Way

Nike Marxman 2 Nike Marxman 3 Nike Marxman 4 Nike Marxman 5

The Nike Marxman made its debut during this year’s NBA All-Star weekend when it dropped a black textured leather colorway. Over the next few months we saw a solid black and a solid red offering on one of Nike’s latest lifestyle offerings. This time around we turn our focus to a Wolf Grey colorway set to drop in the near future.

If you’re not too familiar with the Marxman, it’s a laceless, two-strapped, sleek, high-top sneaker that exudes a minimalist look. Branding appears by way of the “NIKE” stitched on the tongue, while a small embossed Nike Swoosh appears on the forefoot strap. The Wolf Grey leather upper is contrasted by the all-white sole unit seen below. No word yet on when these will drop, but expect retail price to be around $130. Be sure to let us know if you plan on picking up a pair.

Author’s Take

The two-strap look is something I’ve never been a fan of. It reminds me of the orthopedic shoes my grandma wears on the daily.

Persian Violet Once Again Appears On The Nike Air Classic BW

Nike Air Classic BW 1 Nike Air Classic BW 2 Nike Air Classic BW 3 Nike Air Classic BW 4 Nike Air Classic BW 5 Nike Air Classic BW 6

The Nike Air Classic BW Persian Violet is arguably the most popular colorway on the Big Window, right? So why not release another colorway of the shoe that also rocks Persian Violet? That exactly what Nike did.

This version of the Air Classic BW has the Persian Violet placed on the mesh part of the upper. The bottom portion of the upper comes in white fashion to nicely contrast the purple hue up top. Below the shoe you will find a black outsole that gives the model a brand new look. Said to already be arriving at select retailers, let us know if this colorway is better than original Persian Violet colorway placed on the silhouette.

via: Nike

Author’s Take

It’s a solid colorway, but if I was forced to choose, I’d say that the OG Persian Violet is a better look. Either way, this is definitely a good choice for the Spring/Summer season.

The Nike Air Force 1 Gets Covered In A Woven Upper

NIKE AIR FORCE 1 1 NIKE AIR FORCE 1 2 NIKE AIR FORCE 1 3 NIKE AIR FORCE 1 4

Yesterday we highlighted two new colorways of the new and improved Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit in a Blue Lagoon multicolor option as well as a University Red colorway.

We now shift our focus to another new version of the popular Nike sneaker. Seen on the site before, this new rendition of the Air Force 1 does away with the traditional leather upper and replaces it with a new woven upper. This colorway takes on the all-black look and is contrasted by White detailing on the sole unit as well as on the branding on the tongue and heel tab. The ankle strap has also been blacked out and includes silver metal detailing.

Nike has just added another clean Air Force 1 to the constantly growing lineup. Are you feeling the new woven upper on this classic sneaker?

via: Lapstone & Hammer

Author’s Take

The woven upper reminds me of the Air Jordan Future which I?m a big fan of. I look forward to seeing what other colorways Nike will release. Better yet, will we be seeing a low-top version?

Nike Pushes The Laser Cut Look This Season On Its Lifestyle Models

Dylan Raasch’s iconic Nike Roshe Run is back for the summer featuring a material you wouldn’t necessarily conjure up when thinking of the warmest months ahead: leather. Nike Sportswear continues to tinker and retool the Zen-inspired design, and with the Nike Roshe Run NM Laser, a premium leather upper sees laser cut ventilation strips on the heel and toe to add a necessary breathable component. The latest “Triple White” colorway is sure to be a hit, as the lack of color throughout strips things down to the bare bones. Even the Swoosh branding is subdued on the side panel to a simple inset embossing. No word yet on a release date, but check out more detailed shots below and let us know if you’re a fan of the latest Roshe creation in the comments section.

Believe It Or Not, There Are No Major Nike Or Jordan Releases This Weekend

It looks like everyone’s bank accounts will be getting a break this weekend, as there are somehow no major Nike or Jordan Brand releases this Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. This anomaly of the sneaker release date schedule hasn’t happened for as long as we can remember, and has us wondering how it can even occur with the usually heavy slate of sneakers from Jordan and Nike each weekend. A Saturday without a Jordan retro? What gives?

Who would have thought that the Bold Berry colorway would look just as good on a basketball shoe like it does on the Air Huarache? Pretty cool idea and nice execution by Nike.

Did The Yeezy Boost 350 Copy Nikes Free Inneva Woven

Nike Sportswear’s loss of Kanye West to rival adidas Originals has been one of the more noteworthy shakeups in the sneaker industry over the past 18 months. We’ve seen NSW bounce back while still referencing old Yeezy colorways, and the brand even released a model called the Nike Entertrainer that served as a subtle jab at Yeezy. Outside of calling out Mark Parker in concerts, Kanye has focused on building his adidas Yeezy brand into one of the most sought after lines in the lifestyle market. But did the adidas Yeezy 350 Boost have design origins found in the Nike Free Inneva Woven?

Before leaving the Swoosh, Kanye was rocking different tonal shades of the Inneva Woven, and it isn’t hard to see why. With a breezy upper that was simple in construction aided by suede accents and one of Nike’s most tech-savvy outsole units, the similarities aren’t even necessarily esoteric in origin. Replace Free with Boost, and the blueprint is more readily apparent than one might expect. As for the Inneva Woven, it’s getting along just fine void of a Kanye co-sign. Two new colorways are releasing this Spring 2016 season, each utilizing a different tonal blue shade for a casual take complete with leather linings. Check out detailed photos below.
