An Official Look At The Nike Dunk High Syracuse
By SoleInsider
After getting a small glimpse of some upcoming colorways from the Nike Dunk High Be True To Your School Collection, we now take a look at official images of the pair that has been designated for Syracuse University.
Covered in a premium White leather all throughout the upper, contrasting hits of bright orange land on the overlays as well as on the Swoosh, heel, ankle, inner liner, heel tab, Nike branding on the tongue, and the outsole.
With the official images already out it shouldn’t be too much longer before these hit retailers. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.
Much like the Syracuse pair, this Villanova colorway also comes constructed out of a premium White leather on the majority of the upper. Navy Blue accents provide a nice contrast by being placed on the overlays, Swoosh, inner liner, heel, laces, Nike branding and the outsole. A white midsole and navy outsole complete the look on this collegiate colorway of the Nike Dunk.
There is no confirmed release date yet but keep it locked to Kicks On Fire for updates.
Now this colorway I can definitely see myself wearing. I like this pair better than the Michigan pair because white/navy is easier to wear then yellow/navy.

Nike Designer, Dave Dombrow Returns To Under Armour
By SoleInsider
Dave Dombrow is one of the top designers in the sneaker game. He used to work for Under Armour, but decided to take his talents to Nike around three months ago. It is now being reported that Under Armour and Dave Dombrown have once again linked up after the 3 month breakup.
Dombrown will return to UA and be the brand’s chief design officer. He will begin his duties on August 1st.
When Dombrow left UA earlier this year, Nike took advantage and added him to their team. The were well aware of how big of an impact he had at UA and were hoping he could do more of the same with Nike. Dombrown even helped design the Curry line, which was a big reason why the brands footwear sales jumped 64 percent during the last quarter that ended on march 31st. Chalk this one up as a W for Under Armour and an L for Nike.

Nike Officially Introduces The Nike Train Ultrafast Flyknit
By SoleInsider
Nike gave us a sneak peak of the Nike Train Ultrafast Flyknit earlier this week, but now they’ve officially introduced their brand new trainer.
The shoe was designed with Cristiano Ronaldo in mind. It was built specifically for the focus that his off-pitch training places on ?explosive, quick lateral cutting movements and hours of footwork?. The shoe combines a dynamic fit upper with a brand new chainlink Flyknit and a responsive propulsion plate placed under the foot. The end result gives you a trainer that’s one part football and one part Free Trainer 5.0.
After teasing the silhouette earlier this week, Nike has officially unveiled its latest trainer: the Train Ultrafast Flyknit. Crafted with insights from none other than Cristiano Ronaldo and built specifically for the emphasis his off-pitch training places on ?explosive, quick lateral cutting movements and hours of footwork,? the Train Ultrafast Flyknit echoes what Ronaldo loves about the Mercurial Superfly and couples a dynamic fit upper of brand new chainlink Flyknit with a responsive propulsion plate under the foot. The result is a hybrid that?s one part football boot, one part Free Trainer 5.0. Said design lead Rob Williams of the kicks:
Lead designer had this to say about the shoes:
We set out to design the lightest and fastest training shoe? The Nike Train Ultrafast Flyknit?s diamond-shaped Flyknit upper is lightweight, super breathable and linked together in chain-link like system. Nike flywire is woven through the Flyknit cables and functions like a Chinese finger trap toy, delivering a 3D containment system that locks down and engages all the way around the foot. Then, we introduced the Flex Speed plate underfoot, cutting diamond shapes out of the underfoot pbax plate in order to push the cushioning through, resulting in superior responsive propulsion for speed training.
The Nike Train Ultrafast Flyknit is sett to release on June 15th at nike.com as well as at select retailers. 6 colorways consisting of Bright Mango/Hyper Jade, Racer Blue/Total Crimson/Blue Glow, Volt/Pink Blast/Deluxe Glow, Black/White, Hyper Jade/Volt and Wolf Grey/Hyper Jade will be available for purchase.

The Nike Air Foamposite One Royal Releases Next Year To Celebrate Its 20th Anniversary
By SoleInsider
It’s hard to believe that the Nike Air Foamposite One released back in 1997. Next year will mark the 20th anniversary of the shoe, so you know very well that Nike is going to release special versions of the shoe to commemorate the 20 years. One way Nike looks to celebrate the models anniversary is by once again releasing the Nike Air Foamposite One Royal.
The Nike Air Foamposite One Royal is one of the OG colorways on the Penny model. It’s only right that Nike re-releases it to celebrate its 20th. A Royal posite upper is paired up with hit of Black placed on the eyestay, tongue, heel, lining and laces. Carbon fiber fiber and a translucent motif is placed on the sole region. Said to be dropping March of 2017, are you looking forward to the Nike Air Foamposite One Royal 20th Anniversary?
It’s good to see this classic colorway make a return. Not a fan of the posite look, but fans of the model are sure to have a grin on their face after reading this news.

NikeLab Has Already Gotten Their Hands On The Upcoming Zoom All Out Flyknit
By SoleInsider
Nike’s newest running sneaker, the Nike Zoom All Out Flyknit, will be arriving at retailers tomorrow. The Zoom All Out Flyknit merges the ultra-light lockdown of a 3/4-height Flyknit upper with a Zoom Air unit that runs nearly the length of the shoe.
This is yet another addition to the always evolving Nike Running division where we see two amazing technologies placed together on one shoe. Wasting no time getting their hands on this new Nike runner is NikeLab as they have already created their own blacked out colorway. This features a Black Flyknit upper with Black detailing on the laces, Swoosh, and midsole. The only contrast comes with the Volt Zoom Air unit and the icy blue outsole.
There is no confirmed release date yet but you can expect the NikeLab Zoom All Out Flyknit to release in the near future. Maybe even tomorrow. Retail price will be $200.
The more I see this new runner from Nike the more I like it. The Nike Flyknit Max is one of my favorite shoes and the fact that this shoe is very similar is exciting. I’d like to see more color on the Flyknit upper so I’m not a huge fan of this NikeLab colorway.

Kevin Durant To Lace Up Nike KD 9 USA At 2016 Olympics
By SoleInsider
Kevin Durant has a busy off-season ahead of him between a big free agency decision and playing in the upcoming Rio Summer Olympics for Team USA. In honor of the occasion, Nike Basketball has been aggressively pushing the KD 9 – Durant even laced up the yet to be released model throughout the Western Conference Finals before bowing out to the Warriors in 7 games. The first retail release will occur right before USA Basketball convenes for practices with the Nike KD 9 USA on June 27th. One of the major focal points of this shoe has been in the use of Flyknit for the first time ever on Kevin Durant model, and Nike Basketball even reduced the price of the sneaker to $150 USD. As for as the patriotic colorway goes, the shoe matches the overhauled Nike Basketball uniforms. Simple, and no frills, the white upper is accented by University Red and Racer Blue throughout. Check out the first retail set of images below and stay tuned for more release dates right here on Sneaker News.
Known to usually steer away from retro releases of their classic colorways for whatever reason, Nike SB has apparently had a change of heart this summer as one of the most beloved colorways of the Zoom Stefan Janoski makes a return. Blooming again this month is the coveted “Digi-Floral” colorway of the Janoski in canvas, which sold out quickly and was hot on the resale market after it originally released in 2013. After the digital floral motif appeared again in a “Mandarin” color scheme in late 2013, we haven’t seen it again until now, as the original version drops again this weekend. The Zoom Janoski “Digi-Floral” drops Friday, June 10th at Nike.com and select Nike SB retailers.
The Nike Kyrie 2 Kyrache hit retailers earlier this week and is now readily available for you to cop. Featuring a White mesh upper with Black detailing on the ankle/heel, Bold Berry then lands on the strap, and Lyon Blue on the tongue. This Kyrie 2 is inspired by the OG colorway of the Nike Air Flight Huarache that releases back in 1992, the same year that Kyrie was born.
Pick up your pair now at select Nike retailers for $120.
I like the theme/inspiration that Nike used for this colorway but I?m just not a fan of the actual colors used on the shoe. I?m sure many people do like it though.

Nike Basketball has surprised plenty by starting to release retros of the original Nike Hyperdunk straight from 2008 in a wave of monochromatic casually inclined colorways. But nobody could have expected that Nike Sportswear would further that thought process through this new Nike Hyperdunk Lux sample. The pair ditches the all Flywire upper for a new woven construction while Dynamic Flywire cables add premium support. A patent leather hits the toebox to further the luxurious sensibilities. What do you think of the idea of upping the Hyperdunk’s lifestyle appeal? Check out a preview and let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
NBA Kicks On Fire: LeBron James Believes In The Nike LeBron Soldier 10
By SoleInsider
With the Cleveland Cavaliers down two games in the NBA Finals heading into Wednesday’s Game 3, all eyes were on LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love as the scene shifted from Oakland to the city that can’t win at anything. For their part, Nike stepped up their game by pushing their “Believe In ______” campaign featuring all of the Nike guys they have under contract. Sure, it’s hilarious to see something as dumb as “Believe in Dahntay Jones”, but believing in LeBron James isn’t something we need to be told; we know he’ll be great or do his damndest to get there. And he delivered with 32 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and an iconic moment in the form of the alley-oop above from Kyrie.
LeBron not only threw one down, he went throwback as he debuted the Nike LeBron Soldier 10. Before Nike went Elite and dropped premium priced performance kicks for the playoffs, LeBron wore his “takedown” Soldiers for his playoff runs. As the venue moved east, so did the colors as Kyrie debuted a white, wine red and gold Kyrie 2, Stephen Curry revealed the Black Knight Curry Two and much more.

LeBron’s going to need his soldiers to step up if the Cavaliers are going to make this a series against the Golden State Warriors tonight. For the better part of LeBron’s career, his signature models have been accompanied by the team-centric Soldier series – a shoe usually dedicated to using performance enhancing Zoom technology and a variety of experimental designs that push the idea that anonymous team models don’t have to be that anonymous after all. Today we get a preview of the upcoming Nike LeBron Soldier 10 on-feet. The shoe ditches the traditional lacing system for a slip-on design complete with three large velcro straps that look closer to belonging in the annual adidas Y-3 lineup than on a basketball court. A high-arching ankle support adds stability while an icy outsole features a unique traction pattern. Continue onward for a better look at the latest installment of the LeBron Soldier series and let us know if you’re a fan of the look by taking your thoughts to our comments section.
