To pay tribute to MJ’s alma mater — the University of North Carolina — this classic Air Jordan 9 Low will be making a return this weekend.
Defined by its eye-catching university blue finish covering the entire leather upper, this 1994 retro is perfectly offset by a clean, white midsole and outsole unit. Subtle contrasting tones of black adorn the inner lining, tongue and Jumpman globe badge on the rear, while additional pops of university blue adorn the heel, accompanied by a number ?23? embroidery in white.
Look for a pair at select JB and Nike retailers on Saturday, June 11 for a price tag of $170.

Author’s Take
I don?t hate how it looks in low-cut form, but I?d really prefer the model in its original form. The colorway isn?t for me, but it?s pretty appealing. This should get some attention.
