Marcus Jordan Says Trophy Room Will Never Sell Yeezys

Loyalty!

That’s one quality that Marcus Jordan (son of Michael Jordan) has shown time and time again. He showed it back when he was in college when he refused to wear adidas (wore Jordan Brand) and as a result his school lost their $3 million adidas deal.

Then he showed it again earlier this year as he fired back at Kanye West’s “Facts” track that claimed that “Yeezy Jumped Over The Jumpman” by posting a couple of tweets in which he expressed that he “needed a good laugh” to start off 2016.

Today he was back at again as someone asked him on Twitter if his new sneaker store Trophy Room would be selling the new adidas Yeezy Boost 750 this weekend. Here’s the exchange.

Never! There goes your answer. Marcus Jordan is team Jumpman all the way.

If you want to know what stores WILL release the Yeezys then make sure to visit our adidas Yeezy Boost 750 Grey Gum launch page for a list of retailers.

Author’s Take

Maybe if Jordan Brand would have made these original mids they would be more popular, but the fact that it’s a low means they’ll probably sit on shelves.

Jordan Brand Will Have A Flu Game Pop-Up Shop This Weekend Featuring Some Early Releases

Jordan Brand will be having a special pop-up shop this weekend to commemorate the 19th anniversary of the legendary Flu Game during the 1997 NBA Finals. His Airness ended up dropping 37 points on the road during Game 5 and lead the the Bulls to victory all while suffering from flu-like symptoms.

To celebrate the miraculous performance Jordan Brand is holding a special pop-up shop at Fice Gallery and Boutique in Salt Lake City, Utah. On this day JB will be releasing a limited number of pairs of the upcoming Air Jordan 12 Gym Red that doesn’t officially release until July 2nd. Fice Gallery and Boutique is located at 160 E 200 S Salt Lake City, UT 84111 and the event will take place at 2:30 PM. There also may be a restock of the Air Jordan 12 Flu Game.

Make sure to visit our Air Jordan 12 Gym Red launch page for more updates on this upcoming release.

I just have one question, why is this taking place in Utah? Weren’t the 1997 and 1998 NBA Finals punishment enough?

The Air Jordan 8 Championship Celebration Pack Completes The First Trifecta (Video)

In 2014, we were treated to the first Air Jordan Championship Pack, which featured two Air Jordan 6s that highlighted the celebrations that followed after Michael Jordan and the Chicago won their first NBA title. A year later, the inevitable sequel followed with two Air Jordan 7s taking on the winning theme. In 2016, the first trilogy (because you know they’re doing it for the second three-peat with 11s, 12, 13/14, just you wait…) concludes with the Air Jordan 8 Championship Celebration Pack that reminisces about that time MJ beat Charles Barkley and the Phoenix Suns to claim third consecutive Larry O’Brien trophy. With the Air Jordan 8 being such a hit or miss in the sneakerhead marketplace in the past year or so, it will be interesting to see how well this pair performs.

For more information on this upcoming June release, be sure to follow our Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack launch page for more images, videos and much more.

The Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone Releases In A Few Days

Air Jordan 9 Low 2 Air Jordan 9 Low 3 Air Jordan 9 Low Air Jordan 9 Low 1

The Air Jordan 9 Low is set to drop in another variation this season, as this particular colorway looks to pay homage to MJ’s alma mater — the University of North Carolina.

Defined by University Blue covering the basketball sneaker’s entire leather upper, tongue, laces and mudguard, the vibrant shade is perfectly offset by touches of black, which are prominent on the inner lining, rear and tongue label.

All juxtaposed nicely against a clean, white rubber sole unit, the model is rounded out with more branding on the heel via an embroidered ?23.?

Find this pair at select JB and Nike accounts on Saturday, June 11 for a price tag of $170.

Visit and bookmark our official Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone launch page now for more images, info and release details.

Author’s Take

I don?t hate how it looks in low-cut form, but I?d really prefer the model in its original form. The colorway isn?t for me, but it?s pretty appealing. This should get some attention.

Jordan Brand Celebrates TheFlu Game Anniversary With Pop-Up Shop In Utah

This Saturday is the nineteen-year anniversary of Michael Jordan’s epic “Flu Game”. On June 11th, 1997, MJ took on the Utah Jazz in a pivotal Game 5 of the ’97 Finals while battling a crippling flu. Most players would’ve been rendered ineffective and may have even sat out the game due to the illness, but Jordan did what he does best – he showed up in a big way. Dropping 37 points to highlight an all-around superb game, Jordan let the Bulls to victory and eventually took the Finals series for his fifth NBA title. To commemorate the Flu Game, Jordan Brand is holding a special pop-up shop at Fice Boutique, releasing a limited edition run of the upcoming red/white Air Jordan 12 Retro. There will likely be a re-stock of the Flu Game 12s as well. Get more details below.

Jordan Brand Has Dropped The Top On The Air Jordan Horizon

JORDAN HORIZON LOW 1 JORDAN HORIZON LOW 2 JORDAN HORIZON LOW 3

The Air Jordan Horizon hasn’t had the success that Jordan Brand was hoping for ever since it released. With the huge success that was achieved with the Air Jordan Future, JB was hoping for more of the same. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case.

If you happen to be a fan and supporter of the hybrid silhouette from the Jumpman then you may be happy to know that the shoe has now been created in low-top form. Today we get a look at the Air Jordan Horizon Low in a Triple Black colorway that has been popular for the last couple of years.

What are your thoughts on the Air Jordan Horizon Low in the Triple Black colorway? You can pick up a pair now at select retailers for $145.

Author’s Take

I wasn’t a huge fan of the original Air Jordan Horizon and I think the Low looks even worse. Not a good idea by Jordan Brand.

After a weekend that saw four different Air Jordan retros arrive at retailers, Jordan Brand will be “toning” things down a bit this upcoming weekend with only two retro releases.

One of those 2 colorways will be the Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone which features a bright University Blue on the entire leather upper with Black detailing landing on the inner liner, tongue tag, and the Jumpman logo on the heel. Providing some more contrast are White accents on the sole unit and the embroidered ?23? on the heel.

Jordan Brand Remixes The Air Jordan 13 Into The Horizon Low

Jordan Brand’s summer slate is always filled with a plethora of low-tops in their retro category, and now that thought process has translated over to their burgeoning lifestyle imprint with the introduction of the Jordan Horizon Low. The silhouette is based on the Air Jordan 13 and the panther paw-inspired outsole while a simple yet diverse upper sees an asymmetrical lacing system add a twist. This “Triple Black” pair is the most recent installment and boasts added leather around the lacing unit and a metallic lace eyelet for a premium touch. Available today from retailers like Villa for $145 USD.

Air Jordan 2 Low UNC

Release Date: June 11, 2016
Price: $170

We have yet another Air Jordan 2 Low set to drop this year. The Air Jordan 2 Low UNC is the latest colorway to drop on the lo-top version of Michael Jordan second signature shoe. The shoe is is very similar to a version that releases in 2004, with only a couple of noticeable differences that technically makes it a “new” colorway. This version of the Air Jordan 2 Low UNC comes dressed in a combination of White, University Blue and Midnight Navy. The White tumbled leather takes care of the majority of the shoe. Breaking up the tonal look of the shoe and giving it that UNC vibe are the hits of University Blue and Midnight Navy placed in areas such as the lining, heel, branding, outsole and heel wrap. Additional White can be seen on midsole and laces. Made as a nod to Jordan alma mater, the Air Jordan 2 Low UNC will release on June 11th for $160.

I’m pretty sure many people would have loved this color on the Air Jordan 2 instead of the Air Jordan 2 Low. Regardless, it’s a solid colorway that will probably still garner a substantial amount of attention.
