Also noted as a tribute the the Hornets — the NBA team that MJ currently owns — the basketball sneaker is rendered in the team’s signature tones, as white covers its premium leather upper, followed by hits of light purple and teal applied on the eye stays, tongue, inner lining and outsole unit.

Additionally, a ?CHA? embroidery is situated on the collar respectively as a nod to the city.

In six months from now we’ll be seeing the annual Air Jordan 11 arrive at retailers. Last year it was the 72-10 colorway that commemorated the Bulls’ historic 1996-96 season.

This year we’ll be seeing the return of the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam in honor of the 20th anniversary celebration of the movie. The 20th anniversary version of the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam features a black mesh upper with a matching patent leather mudguard that has been cut higher than recent retro releases to mimic the original pair from 1996. Other details include an embroidered “45” on the heel instead of 23, a Concord Jumpman logo, Nike Air branding on the insoles, a white midsole and an icy blue outsole.

Rip Hamilton will be remembered as an NBA champion who always wore some crazy Air Jordan heat.

Having played a large portion of his career with the Detroit Pistons, Rip recently decided to show us some of his favorite Air Jordan PEs from his time with Pistons. Posted on his Instagram, Rip gave us a look at his Air Jordan Rip City collection that includes the Air Jordan 12, Air Jordan 23 and even the Air Jordan 6 Rings, all dressed in a white, blue and red color scheme.

Jordan Brand kicked off June in a huge way, releasing two colorways of the Air Jordan 11 Low to the masses to set the Summer off right. A revamped Air Jordan 12 is expected to offered in the coming months ahead, as this particular pair is defined with an upgraded upper.

Previous reports suggested the model to inherit a nylon build, although it’s more like to be neoprene, as the fabric is more resistant to weather elements such as cold temperature, direct sunlight, and moisture. Additionally, the fabric has the ability to absorb shocks and promote a lighter feel.

Premium leather overlays are applied located on the forefoot and lateral portion to retain its premium and iconic flair, while touches of bright red adorn the tongue. Other notable details include matching heel pull tabs with embossed branding, as well as more Jumpman motif implemented on the outsole.

Finished off with a crisp, white rubber sole unit, the sneaker is scheduled to drop at Nike and JB retailers on September 10 for a retail price tag of $190.

Following a previous report, a rendering of what the forthcoming Air Jordan 8 UNDFTD might possibly look like has been created, as the silhouette is rumored to debut sometime next year.

During 2005, the LA-based streetwear label produced a special rendition of the Air Jordan 4, and it appears that the colorway on the AJ 8 will inherit the same palette. Olive essentially drapes the nubuck upper, while accents of orange are implemented on the rear mudguard, tongue and portion of the outsole, as it’s finished off with a white/black sole unit.

An exact release date has not been confirmed, but stay tuned to KicksOnFire for additional updates once they arise.

Is it me, or did the Air Jordan 5 OG Black Metallic release just creep on us? Less than two weeks away, today we get our latest look at the Air Jordan 5 Metallic rocking the beloved Nike branding.

The shoe comes constructed out of a Black nubuck upper. The Black sneaker is accented by the Fire Red, Metallic Silver and White hits placed all over the shoe. The mesh netting on the side panels comes in clear fashion, while the tongue comes in a 3M reflective manner. The Metallic Silver hits are placed on the speckled shark teeth on the Black midsole, while the outsole comes in a icy translucent fashion.
