Seventeen long years after its debut way back in 1999, the Air Jordan 14 Oxidized Green will finally be getting the retro treatment this weekend.

This OG colorway of the Air Jordan 14 features a predominantly white upper that combines smooth and tumbled leather for a pretty nice look. Black accents have then been added on the inner liner, top of the tongue, laces, heel, midsole, and outsole. Finishing off the look are hits of Oxidized Green and Legend Blue on the branding and midsole.

The Air Jordan 1 High White Vachetta is constructed out of a White premium leather upper. The leather upper comes covered in large perforation hits on the toe and side panels. In a few short days we’ll be seeing the next colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low No Swoosh arrive at retailers. Earlier this year Jordan Brand took the world by storm by unveiling and releasing three colorways of a new Air Jordan 1 Low that removed the signature Swoosh branding on the side panels.

Last time we saw an black, olive, and pink colorways release, this time Jordan Brand color coordinates for the Summer and will give us an all-white colorway. As you can see, this Air Jordan 1 features tumbled leather all over the upper with Nike Air branding on the tongue, the Wings logo on the heel, and gold aglets that provide a nice pop.

It’s always unfortunate to find out about violence going on in this world of ours, and it’s even more unfortunate when it’s over something like sneakers that are meant to bring us together as a community.

Today we have found out that Star Telegram is reporting that 20-year-old Daron Taylor was found guilty by a jury of capital murder in the killing of 21-year-old Joshua Woods back in 2012. Daron Taylor and others went to several Houston malls on Dec. 21, 2012 looking for people who had just bought the recently released Air Jordan 11 Bred. Taylor and his friends ended up following Woods home and killed him in an attempt to steal the shoes. He has now been sentenced to life in prison with eligibility for parole in 40 years since he was 16 when the murder took place.

Taylor is the second suspect convicted in the slaying. Twenty-one-year-old Neal Bland was convicted of capital murder in February and sentenced to life imprisonment without parole.
