A Preview Of The Air Jordan 3 Wool

Air Jordan 3 Air Jordan 3 1

We previously reported this past March 2016 that an Air Jordan 3 Wool is in the works, and now, a sneak peek at that purported pair has surfaced online.

Suggested to be in this year?s Holiday 2016 lineup that also features the AJ 3 Cyber Monday, the iconic basketball silhouette has essentially been revamped with more lifestyle flair and functionality. Dark grey-colored wool covers the model’s upper, which simply provides more warmth during the colder months ahead.

Finally, a sail white rubber sole unit finishes off the simple two-tone design.

This pair is reportedly arriving at select JB and Nike stockists on December 17th for a retail price of $200.

Author’s Take

I’m all for applying new materials on classic JB silhouettes. This pair doesn’t look that bad. The colorway is versatile and it’ll be suitable for the colder weather.

Official images of the 2016 Air Jordan 14 Indiglo have now released, as this original colorway of the basketball sneaker is set to make its arrival soon.

Introduced back in 1999, this remastered take essentially stays true to its OG makeup. Black consists as its primary tone, which is prevalent throughout its leather and durabuck construction, while the defining hue is directed at its signature shield logo along the collar, miniature Jumpman on the toe box, portion of the heel tab and branding of its tongue.

Topped off with a crisp white outsole unit, you can expect to find the pair at select JB and Nike stockists on Saturday, August 13th for price tag of $190.

I never really liked the silhouette much before, but, I think it?s growing on me since I?ve also grown older, haha. This colorway is appealing and classic. It should get the attention it deserves.

Following a pure platinum release, the Air Jordan 1 KO High will be offered in another colorway, this time consisting of obsidian.

Bearing almost the same material makeup as the aforementioned pair, canvas overlays and what seems to be quilted suede essentially covers its entire makeup to exude its lifestyle appeal. Metallic bronze eyelets further complement the aesthetic, while pops of white located on the iconic wings logo and full-length rubber sole unit finishes off the simple and clean profile.

Retailing for $140, you can purchase this pair at select Nike and JB stockists starting Saturday, August 27th.

Jordan Brand will be celebrating the Olympics this weekend with the release of the patriotic Air Jordan 7 Tinker Alternate. This new colorway is a spin-off on the OG Olympic colorway that features a similar look. White, Deep Royal, and Fire Red all come together on this Air Jordan 7 along with hits of Metallic Gold that are a nod to the Olympics. Some of the defining features include the speckled gradient midsole and the different colored inner booties. A Bronze Medal Air Jordan 1 Is Also Up For Grabs

AIR JORDAN 1 1 AIR JORDAN 1 2 AIR JORDAN 1 3 AIR JORDAN 1 4 AIR JORDAN 1 5 AIR JORDAN 1 6

Did you know that the Silver Medal and Gold Medal colorways of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High weren’t the only pairs that released? Jordan Brand also released a colorway inspired by the bronze medal that hasn’t been getting as much love.

The bronze medal-inspired colorway of the Air Jordan 1 features a Black leather upper with Infrared 23 accents on the Jumpman on the tongue and a White sole unit. What highlights this pair of course are the hits of Metallic Red Bronze that appear on the Swoosh and Wings branding on the side panels.

If you’re feeling this Air Jordan 1 then you can buy a pair right now directly from nike.com for a retail price of $140.

Author’s Take

My second favorite colorway behind the gold medal pair. If that Infrared Jumpman on the tongue were done in bronze these would have been even better.

The Latest Images Of The Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue

Air Jordan 3 1 Air Jordan 3 2 Air Jordan 3 3 Air Jordan 3 4 Air Jordan 3 5 Air Jordan 3 6

For those of you patiently waiting for the Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue to drop, we have the latest images of the shoe to help hold you over until November 25th arrives. Definitely one of the most highly anticipated Jordan retros of the year, let’s get a closer look at the shoe.

The Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue is done in a White leather upper offset by the hits of True Blue and Red placed throughout the shoe. Helping this colorway stand out from the rest of the OG colorways of the 3s is the use of elephant print found not only on the toe and heel, but also on the eyestay of the shoe. This remastered version will come with the beloved Nike Air branding on the heel and insoles, while the Jumpman remains true to form on the tongue. Another subtle change people are taking notice of is the Red lining, some people like it, some people don’t, some people don’t think it’s a big deal. Set to drop on November 25th for $220, be sure you visit our Nike Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue (Black Friday 2016) hub page for the latest info and images of this upcoming release.

Author’s Take

One of my favorite models/colorways of all time. I have a pair with the Jumpman on the heel, it’s in okay condition. I’m still debating on whether or not it’s worth paying $220 for Nike on the heel. It may go down to the wire.

Introducing The Air Jordan 1 High Deconstructed

What you see above is the Air Jordan 1 High Deconstructed. What exactly does that mean, and what is it doing on the Air Jordan 1? In case you haven’t noticed, times are changing, and although the Air Jordan 1 High in its original build is good as is, many of us are more than open to seeing the iconic classic in a different build, at least I am.

This version of the Jordan 1 is classified as deconstructed because the “construction” of the upper has no paneling or layering. In addition, if you take a look at the inside you will find that it also comes with no paneling, sort of like the original Chuck Taylor All-Star. What you end up getting is a minimal-looking, suede-constructed Air Jordan 1. From the pictures provided, it appear as if the Air Jordan 1 sole remains untouched. Two colorways have already been unveiled- off-White and Black. Thoughts on the Nike branded Air Jordan 1? I’m curious to see what you guys think. As of right now, expect these to drop sometime in the Fall/Winter of this year.

Author’s Take

I’m on the fence. It looks like it has potential, but I’ll reserved my judgement until I see more pictures of the shoe.

Get Ready For The Kubo x Air Jordan 15

Kubo x Air Jordan 15 Kubo x Air Jordan 15 1 Kubo x Air Jordan 15 2 Kubo x Air Jordan 15 3 Kubo x Air Jordan 15 4 Kubo x Air Jordan 15 5 Kubo x Air Jordan 15 6

While we speculated this past December 2015 that a sneaker collaboration with the animation studio, Laika, would come to fruition, a recent COMPLEX-exclusive interview with iconic Nike designer, Tinker Hatfield, has revealed that the Air Jordan 15 will be revived in a special variation this season that’s inspired by the animated film, Kubo and the Two Strings.

With the studio essentially owned by Nike, and Phil Knight as the co-founder, the movie which is set to debut on Thursday, August 18th, is directed by his son Travis Knight.

The film is centralized on a young boy named Kubo, who must locate a magical suit of armor worn by his late father in order to defeat a vengeful spirit from the past.

Two iterations of the Air Jordan 15 will be offered — one in blue/black and the other in red/black — with each suggested to be extremely limited. On August 8, the Just Keep Livin Foundation will host a live eBay auction with dozens of pairs of the Kubo 15 sneakers up for bidding, as all proceeds will go to the Foundation?s programs that teach the importance of decision-making, health, education, and active living.

Then, on August 10, gamers who sign up to play the new Moon Beast game at the official Kubo and the Two Strings website, can compete to be the top scorers and win a pair of the Kubo 15s as well.

Expect more ways to acquire a pair very soon, but, stay tuned to KicksOnFire for further updates.

Author’s Take

When I was younger, I wasn’t really into this pair, but now, I appreciate it a lot more. I like the colorways and these should get the attention it deserves.

The Air Jordan 7 Tinker Alternate Is Dropping Soon

Air Jordan 7 3 Air Jordan 7 1 Air Jordan 7 Air Jordan 7 2

An initial design which Tinker Hatfield had created, this Air Jordan 7 is essentially a slight revised counterpart of the original Olympic Air Jordan 7 which debuted during the 1992 Summer Games in Barcelona, Spain.

With the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this Friday, August 5th, this model also pays tribute to the international sporting event, as it’s simply defined by a patriotic palette that supports Team USA. Red, white and navy is prominent across its entirety, while pops of metallic gold adorn the tongue label and jumpman logo for additional vibrance, which also evoke the first-place medals.

Retailing for $190 ? GS, PS and TD sizes are listed at $140, $80 and $60 respectively. You can purchase a pair for the whole family starting Saturday, August 6th.
