Is The Air Jordan 1 Black Toe A Must-Cop This Weekend
By SoleInsider
Another instant classic colorway of the Air Jordan 1 will be returning to retailers in a few short days. Already having released the Bred/Banned colorway earlier this year, Jordan Brand is keeping fans of the Air Jordan 1 happy by also bringing back the Black Toe colorway.
This original colorway of the Air Jordan 1 features a remastered leather upper done in mostly White and Black with Varsity Red overlays landing on the ankle, heel, and the outsole. Nike Air branding on the tongue and the Jordan “Wings” logo on the ankle completes the look on this classic pair of 1s.
The Air Jordan 1 Black Toe will arrive at retailers on November 5th in men’s ($160) and GS ($120) sizes. Will you be trying to cop?
More Images Of The Air Jordan 16 Midnight Navy Have Surfaced
By SoleInsider
Don’t look now, but the Air Jordan 16 Midnight Navy release date is not too far away. Said to be a part of Jordan Brand’s 2016 Holiday lineup, let’s take a look at the shoe’s latest images.
This colorway of the Air Jordan 16 will come in a White tumbled leather upper accented by the Midnight Navy patent leather placed on the toe and the mesh on the underlay. Over the underlays you will find the shoe’s most distinct trait, the White removable shroud. A predominantly White midsole with hits of Blue blend in nicely with the two-toned upper. Are you happy to see this colorway of the 6 make a return? If so, you’ll be able to pick up a air of your own on December 22 for the retail price of $250. Be sure you visit our Air Jordan 16 Midnight Navy hub page for all up to the minute info and images regarding this upcoming release.
Happy to see retros other that 1-14 get re-released, but this is a model I don’t see myself picking up. Solid colorway, but I’m not too big on the 16s.
Jordan Brand has their own set of exclusive Jordan Emojis coming soon courtesy of their Jordan “Banned” Keyboard. The Jordan Emojis incorporate the Jumpman’s rich history through multiple colorways of the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 31 while DJ Khaled even gets a cameo in emoji form. All of your favorite emojis get a Jordan Brand facelift with additions of elephant print, Wings branding, and much more. Stay tuned for an official launch of the Jordan “Banned” Keyboard in the near future and be on the lookout for the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” to launch this Saturday, November 5th.
Reminiscent of last year’s Maroon finish, this latest iteration of the Air Jordan 6, which was previously suggested to be Hare-inspired colorway, is actually an extension of Jordan Brand?s ?Alternate? color scheme.
The sneaker essentially pays tribute to the Chicago Bulls? theme with white, pure platinum and gym red accents covering its entire upper. Comprised of premium perforated leather and nubuck underlays, this iteration is also suggested to be the pair that MJ would?ve donned during the 1991 Playoffs, as the year ?1991? is prominent on the tongues. Finally, translucent outsoles finish off the design.
With its retail price listed at $190, this standout pair is scheduled to drop at select Nike and Jordan Brand retailers starting March 11, 2017.
10 Favorite Ray Allen Air Jordan Player Exclusives
By SoleInsider
Ray Allen is no longer an active NBA player as he announced his retirement (kind of…) on Tuesday. There have been rumors and teases of a comeback since he last played in 2014, but now our choice for the greatest Jordan Brand athlete of all-time (and we stand by it) has taken his last smooth 3-pointer. Nobody had a prettier stroke and even though he’ll probably lose that all-time three-point record in a few years to three Golden State Warriors players, they still can’t top Jesus Shuttlesworth’s form. And not only has he optimized the values of Jordan Brand since its inception, but his sneaker PE game is probably second only to MJ at this point. Here’s my picks for the best Air Jordan PEs Allen ever wore.
Air Jordan 13 PE

Allen is the all-time leader in three-point field goals made and he rocked this pair of Jordans when he passed Reggie Miller on the list. And anything that kinda trolls Reggie is fine with me, even if they are 13s….
Air Jordan XX8 NBA Finals PE

For degree of difficulty (miss and the Spurs win the title), there might not be a more clutch shot in NBA history. Jordan stans might disagree, but when did MJ ever take a shot in the Finals that would have cost them the series if he missed? Exactly…
Jordan Icons PE
Concepts
Scoff at Team Jordans all you want but Ray was a big supporter and rocked them in games both big and small. The Icons are generally overlooked, but I love their look especially in green and white.

Remember when the NBA thought it would be a good idea to use nicknames on the back of jerseys? It’s a silly idea but ultimately it was all worth it to have Allen rock a Shuttlesworth jersey (which was the inspiration for one of my favorite NBA Kicks recap posts ever). He wore the 13s to complete the look since that was the kicks of choice of his movie father Jake aka Denzel.
Air Jordan 20 Seattle Supersonics PEs

Most people have forgotten Ray’s first two stops in the NBA prior to arriving in Boston and Miami. His Seattle PEs are among the hidden gems in the sneaker world and his collection of 20s need more love.
Air Jordan 15 Milwaukee Bucks PE

It’s no secret that the Air Jordan 15 is one of the least favorite Jordans ever made, but dammit, how can a shoe so bad give us a commercial so great? If Ray’s 15s came with a CD with Mary J. Blige signing “Overjoyed” I might change my mind about the shoe… nah….
Air Jordan 19 SE Seattle Supersonics PE

Another Seattle gem is the SE version of the Air Jordan 19. I’ve kind of waffled over the years about which version of the Air Jordan 19 is better, but this makeup in Sonics green and gold is too good to ignore. Check with me next week to see if I change my mind.

The Air Jordan 16 is high on my list of Jordans that I’ve never owned and I’m lowkey jealous that Allen has some of the best PE versions of the shoe. Something about that shroud that makes them cool and mysterious…

Green and Gold > Red and Gold (oh, like you can go wrong with either one)
Jordan Team 1 PE

Since this is my list, of course it’s going to include my favorite pair of Team Jordans ever. I’m not sure if it was a nostalgia play or just something Jordan Brand whipped up for Ray to wear just because, but we were all shocked when he warmed up in those Team 1s during the NBA Finals in 2013. Still waiting on that retail release, Jordan Brand. Or you know, just a care package in a size 11. What?

I?m all tonal finishes and I?m a fan of this sneaker in general. The build is solid as well and this should get some attention. I?m not that inclined on purchasing though.
Draped in a classic palette of red/white/black, the sneaker?s primary shade is prominent across the toe section, while also flowing throughout the eyelets, collar section and signature Swooshes. Composed of premium leather, contrasting white underlays, in addition to bright red accents covering the heel and outsole cap off its respective theme perfectly. The Air Jordan Dub Zero Concord Arrives Next Month
By SoleInsider
With its Oreo-inspired colorway releasing next week, the Air Jordan Dub Zero is featured in the classic Concord finish that is inspired by the iconic Air Jordan 11.
Essentially sporting a timeless combination of white, black and concord purple color — the pristine hue is prominent across its upper which bears stitched graphic detailing, as well as the midsole unit, while black patent leather covers the remainder of its profile. Concord accents are evident throughout via branding, as it all rests atop an icy translucent outsole to round out its design.

With a Banned variation still on the way, the newly-introduced Jordan Westbrook 0.2 will also be offered in a stylish option of light bone for one its inaugural colorways this Fall/Winter 2016 season.
Russell Westbrook?s latest signature shoe essentially evokes lifestyle flair, as the defining theme simply covers its entire upper, comprised of premium suede and leather overlays. All adhered atop a matching full-length rubber sole unit, the sneaker is further detailed with Russell?s ?Why Not?? slogan that can be seen on the inner tongue lining.
This creamy pair is suggested to arrive at select Jordan Brand retailers nationwide later this month for $140.
Even though it looks like Saint Laurent knock-offs, I still like the simplistic design. This colorway is pretty appealing in general as well and it’s a stylish option.

A Classic CP3 Colorway Hits The Air Jordan 1 High For Kids
By SoleInsider
If you’re a fan of Chris Paul’s Air Jordan line, this new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 for kids may look familiar. That’s because it’s basically the same color scheme you’ll find on CP3’s classic “Hornets” Air Jordan 13 PE, that somewhat randomly released almost exactly a year ago. Now the black, teal and gold is back for the pint-sized Air Jordan 1, featuring leather upper with mesh accents at the ankle, tongue, and heel. Designed specifically for the young ladies, the Air Jordan 1 GG “CP3” is arriving now at Jordan Brand retailers like Sneaker Politics.
