The “dad hat” trend hasn’t passed yet, and now adidas even gets on the norm-core style with NBA caps with caricature portraits of the NBA’s biggest stars including Steph Curry, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kobe Bryant. Of course, adidas has the official license with the NBA, so producing hats of these non-adidas sponsored is totally legit. But you can assume Under Armour and Nike, who each of these players are in contract with, can’t be all that happy with adidas profiting off of their likenesses. Maybe Nike can get them back when they take over the NBA license beginning in the 2017-18 season. While in terms of colorway, it’s similar to this recently featured pair, but, the adidas NMD is unveiled in another variation that dons a new type of fabrication that’s suited for the colder months ahead.

Straying from its usual primeknit and mesh build, this particular take has been revamped with an all-wool construction instead. Essentially offering sufficient warmth throughout the foot in cold days, the model is also detailed with a ribbed sock-like collar and the signature three-stripe branding seamlessly applied on the side panels.

In addition to designing new Olympic uniforms for Team UK, Stella McCartney has joined forces with adidas once again to continue their collaborative footwear line this summer.

Featuring the Ultra Boost and Pure Boost silhouettes, the sneaker’s performance origins have been essentially elevated with fashion sensibilities. The Ultra Boost’s upper has been transformed from the standard performance level Primeknit into a softer, glitter fueled weave, and it’s offered in two colorways — black/white and a standout gold knit with copper accents.

On the other hand, the Pure Boost, incorporates a flatter foam midsole and minimal upper. The paneling and lace section on this variation is replaced with a flexible neoprene upper which can be fastened up using a single strap. Certain components across its design also reference previous training shoes from the brand’s archive, such as the minimal side stripe branding from the EQT Racing, and subtle heel embossing found on the ZX series.

Rendered in two vibrant colorways — black/red with florals and a pastel color blocked iteration, you can find the limited edition pairs at select adidas accounts globally starting tomorrow, July 15th.

The adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged is the latest adidas Boost model taking the world by storm. More and more colorways have recently been unveiled and there’s even a pair that will come equipped with a colored Boost sole unit.  We now take a look at this sample courtesy of Japanese fashion brand Kolor. Although Kolor has releases Ultra Boost collabs before, we still don’t know if this is one that will release to the public or continue to remain a sample.

The Kolor x adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged sample you see above comes with a Primeknit upper that blends Light Orange with hits of Blue. Adding even more color contrast to the upper are the hits of Grey noted on the heel cup, ankle, and laces. Lastly, a Blue Continental outsole is placed right below the White Boost midsole.
