Clear Onix Colors The Next adidas NMD XR1 Primeknit
By SoleInsider
In addition to the recently featured camo pack, the newly-introduced adidas NMD XR1 is now revealed in a clear onyx colorway for this summer 2016 season.
Listed as a women’s variation, the silhouette is essentially covered in the defining grayish hue across its breathable primeknit upper, as well as its TPU overlays across the side panels that reinforces its overall construction. Further complemented with hits of pink across the branded heel pull tabs and outsole, the model is topped off with a white, full-length boost sole unit with an EVA insert on the heel.
Select adidas retailers overseas have this pair listed for availability on August 26th, so a stateside release should follow soon after. Stay tuned for more updates.

Further pronounced with a red TPU heel counter to perfectly coordinate with the palette, the sneaker is topped off with an all-white full-length boost sole unit.
Other notable details include respective branding located across the heel in metallic silver, more on the tongue and insoles, which are colored in red, while matching white laces finish off the profile.
Retailing for $180, you can purchase this pair at select adidas stockists on July 27th.

By SoleInsider

Today we get news that the Pharrell x adidas NMD “Human Race” will arrive at select retailers this Saturday, July 23rd. Check out a brief preview below and let us know what you think of this NMD collaboration by taking your thoughts to the comments section.
Damian Lillard Spotted Wearing The adidas D Lillard 2 Tennis Ball During His Rap Performance
By SoleInsider
For those of you who didn’t know, adidas athlete Damian Lillard is one of the top five NBA rappers dead or alive. It’s true. Just check his social media. During his free time this Summer, Lillard is polishing up his bars by performing in front of live audiences. While performing off the court, he goes by the name Dame D.O.L.L.A., and he was recently spotted doing his thing at Portland’s Crystal Ballroom. How is this sneaker-related? He was doing so while wearing the unreleased adidas D Lillard 2 Tennis Ball. We’re pretty sure the all-Volt sneaker was the highlight of his outfit. No word yet on whether this flashy colorway will release, keep it locked to find out.
Who Grabbed A Pair Of The adidas Crazylight Boost Low 2016 Solar Red
By SoleInsider
I’ve been hearing a lot of good stuff about the adidas Crazylight Boost Low 2016. Many people are even labeling the shoe as the best basketball shoe adidas has ever created! Already available, let’s get a closer look at the adidas Crazylight Boost Low 2016 Solar Red.
The shoe is constructed in low-top fashion. One of the main reasons the shoe is getting rave reviews is because is comes with the beloved Boost technology from heel to toe, something that has never been done on an adidas basketball shoe. The upper consists of molded TPU elements placed along the midsole and eyestay to help secure the midfoot. Below you will find a reengineered herringbone-style traction that will help you with quick changes in your movements. The upper is made out of a a woven graphic Jacquard print done in a Crimson colorway. Out now, let us know if you plan on scooping up a pair.
It’s definitely a shoe I’m interested in getting a better look at. It may not be the best looking shoe, but the Boost tech is really intriguing to me. Great work by adidas!
The adidas ZX Flux ADV Virtue is the latest and possible greatest rendition of the adidas ZX Flux line. That’s a pretty bold statement to say, but give me a second to explain why!
Not only does the adidas ZX Flux ADV Virtue have a very modern and sleek aesthetic, but it also comes dressed in a Primeknit upper that comes in a nice and bold pattern. The geometric motif gives the shoe a dope two-toned look. The Black base is complimented nicely by the hits of White and Grey placed all over the shoe. Additional Black can be seen on the entire sole, heel counter, sock-lining, laces and branding on the heel. Ladies, this model was made exclusively for you, let us know what you think.
Noted as a tribute to the upcoming 2016 Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the low-top silhouette evokes the first-places medals given in the award ceremonies, as shimmering gold is seen on the embossed tongue label, branding across its quarter panels and textured heel tab. Perfectly complemented with a pristine white leather composition, the signature three stripe motif on its sides are configured in perforations.
All adhered atop a matching full-length rubber sole unit, you can purchase this pair at elect adidas retailers nationwide now for a price tag of $110.
New York Knick (damn, that sounds weird to type), is getting ready to release his 7th signature shoe with adidas. Scheduled to drop next month, let’s get a look at this adidas D Rose 7 coming in Grey and White.
The adidas D Rose 7 will be debuting in a Grey and White colorway. Keeping things neutral this time around, it’s only a matter of time before the Blue and Orange colored sneakers begin to release. Vital features on the D Rose 7 include the Engineered Mesh upper, the TPU heel plate, the molded collar, the herringbone traction on the ousole and of course the full-length Boost cushioning. Releasing August 13th for $140, who’s ready to pick up a pair?
The latest fashion trend hitting the streets is the “dad hat”. Many different brands and companies are getting in on the trend and releasing their own dad hats. The latest brand to do so is none other than adidas. They put their own spin on the dad hat and design them by using the faces of some of the best superstars of the NBA.
Players such as LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant appear on the front of the hat, whole the team logo can be seen on the side. None of the players on the hats are adidas athletes, but that’s okay since adidas is still the official apparel supplier for the NBA. Priced at $22, these hats are selling out pretty quick. If you’re looking to get a pair, make sure you do so quick because I don’t see these lasting long.

Included in the collection is the Solar Red pair that we see above. This new and modified version of the popular Ultra Boost features a full Primeknit upper done in a combination of Solar Red and Scarlet for a bright and vibrant look. Black detailing has then been added on the heel cage as well as on the rubber outsole. A Solar Red Boost midsole highlights this Uncaged Ultra Boost that hits shelves tomorrow. Triple Black Vibes On The adidas Tubular Nova Primeknit
By SoleInsider
Tomorrow we’ll be seeing the arrival of the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged in the all-black colorway that even includes a new blacked out Boost midsole. It’ll probably be pretty difficult to get your hands on a pair since it’ll be the first adidas sneaker that will release with colored Boost.
If you don’t want to go through the hassle of camping out or waiting online to for an hour to see if you get through, then there is another Triple Black adidas sneaker that is readily available. Adidas has given the adidas Tubular Nova Primeknit the Triple Black treatment this Summer as seen in the images above. In addition to the Primeknit upper we also see suede detailing on the side panel cages. The signature rugged Tubular outsole has also been blacked out.
You can grab a pair now at select adidas retailers for $140.
I like the overall look of the Tubular Nova Primeknit more than the Uncaged Ultra Boost. The only thing I wish they would have added was a Boost midsole. I guess you can’t have your cake and eat it too.
Buy, Pass, Wait: adidas NMD White, Air Jordan 14 Oxidized Green
By SoleInsider
If you’re reading this, chances are you didn’t cop the adidas NMD White or NMD City Sock. Because if you did manage to get on or the other, you’d be doing cartwheels of joy right now on the streets while people look at you funny for not playing Pokemon Go instead. And while you might be happy to get one of the hyped NMD releases today, we here at the Kicks On Fire staff somehow managed to come to the agreement that neither pair is all its cracked up to be. Awesome kicks to be sure, but they could be better. Find out what we’re talking about in this edition of Buy, Pass, Wait.
Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: (PASS) I actually love the shoes and would definitely be open to having a pair, but I’d be afraid to wear them for fear of messing them up to the point where I can’t clean them. And no, I don’t do the “spray (insert product here)” because I don’t like having the qualifier of you need to do something to a shoe before you can enjoy wearing them and having to remind myself that I need to do this thing in order to wear them each time. Yes, I’m old, get off my lawn.
Renz Ofiaza, News: (BUY) I really wanted the first one in black, so I’ll have to settle with this pair. I’m biased towards the design overall anyway.
Juan Carrillo, News: (PASS) I once felt like I “needed” a handful of pairs of the adidas NMD. Over time, I’ve gotten off of the hype train. Don’t get me wrong, they’re good looking shoes, and they’re probably really comfortable but I just don’t view them like I once did. This pair is clean, but very high maintenance due to the all-White upper. For those two reasons, I won’t be picking up a pair.
Andres Carrillo, News: (PASS) I still haven’t picked up a pair of NMDs and I don’t plan on this being my first. White mesh/Primeknit/Flyknit just isn’t my thing.
adidas NMD City Sock
Packer
EIC Juan: (PASS) I already have the original NMD and a few other colorways that look too similar to this. I would like to own a pair, but just in a different colorway.
Renz: (BUY) I like the chukka-esque profile and in terms of its appeal, I really like the clean design. The colorway is versatile as well and to me, it’s a nice stylish pair for everyday wear.
News Juan: (PASS) I’m not really getting much for that $170 price tag. It’s basically a sock sitting on top of a Boost midsole. I need a little more depth, man. I’m sure it will do well in the market, but it’s not a shoe I see myself picking up.
Andres: (PASS) I try to like the City Sock version of the NMD but I just can’t do the no laces look. Maybe if it were a low-top but even then I don’t think I’d buy a pair.
EIC Juan: (WAIT) It probably won’t sell out because 14s are so hit and miss with the community so I can see myself buying a pair when they drop in price. Considering these are the last Jordans that MJ himself wore during his final campaign for the Chicago Bulls there would be more fuss for them beyond the Last Shot colorway but that hasn’t been the case.
Renz: (WAIT) I’m not really fond of the silhouette, but, this colorway is a classic. For a discount, I’d consider purchasing, but, I’m sure other die-hard fanatics are happy to see it once again.
News Juan: (WAIT) I’ve grown to really like the 14s This pair is very versatile since it’s simply a White and Black sneaker. I doubt the shoe will sell out, which is why I’m going to wait and see if i can get them at a lower price.
Andres: (PASS) Fans of the Air Jordan 14 must be extremely happy to see this OG colorway finally get the retro treatment. There’s only a couple of colorways of the 14 that I would consider buying and this isn’t one of them.
EIC Juan: (PASS) Hey, at least I can clean these unlike the NMDs. But these are a pass for me because I’m still sad I did not cop the Arctic Orange from a few weeks back. I can’t wait to see Jordan Brand really take this concept to its logical conclusion and release the OG colorways like Black/Red, Royal and Chicago and in the high-cut style.
Renz: (BUY) I’m all for minimalist/clean designs and I’m biased towards this pair. In all-white, it’s even more appealing, plus it just exudes stylish appeal.
News Juan: (PASS) The Air Jordan 1 No Swoosh has become the number 1 shoe that I constantly change my opinion on. One day I like it’s simplicity, the next day I think it’s too plain. Does that even make any sense? As of right now, I like the shoe, just not in this colorway. It’s a pass for me.
Andres: (PASS) When I first saw this “Swooshless” Air Jordan 1 I wasn’t really a fan, but as time passed I began to like the olive colorway that released earlier this year. If I were to pick up any colorway (that has released so far) it would be the olive pair, just not feeling this all-white version.
adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged With Color Boost
EIC Juan: (GOT ‘EM) Uncaged and Color Boost are some of the most interesting sneaker hacks of the past several years and the fact that adidas legitimized it by doing both in one pair shows you that the three stripes are listening to their consumers. That being said, I still prefer the OG styling with the cage and I wish that the Color Boost was better implemented (i.e. the whole sole was colored, not just the mid)
Renz: (BUY) The black colorway just because it’s the most versatile and durable pair from the three and I wouldn’t mind if it’ll ever get dirty.
News Juan: (WAIT) I really like the colored Boost on the shoe, but I’m still not sold on the actual shoe. I need to try them on before I make my final judgement. Until then, I’m going to continue to pass on them.
Andres: (PASS) It’s a fact that any sneaker that adidas releases with Boost gets lots of attention. I’m a fan of the original Ultra Boost, but not this Uncaged version. I just feel like its incomplete. Almost like a custom that wasn’t finished. I’m still waiting for adidas to make an Ultra Boost with colored midsoles. Hopefully soon.
