On August 19th, an array of new NMD colorways and versions will be releasing. A total of 19 to be exact. At least two (pictured above) of those 19 releases will come equipped with reflective hits. Today we take a closer look at both pairs.

Coming in all-Black or all-White, both pairs of the adidas NMD R1 come with reflective accents all over the upper including the laces and of course, the mesh construction. If you’re not first you’re last. The Ricky Bobby sentiment couldn’t have been proven more untrue than by adidas’ latest Olympic-themed release, a trio of adidas Ultra Boost pairs that beautifully represent the medal podium with metallic gold, silver, and bronze heel cages. In 2016, we could very well be looking at the best Olympic-themed release from adidas, a brand that has been overshadowed by Nike’s sponsorship rights to some of Team USA’s most notable athletes competing at the world games. The Ultra Boost Olympic will release on August 17th for $180 USD a piece.

The Ultra Boost Olympic takes what’s already been working for the three stripes and perfects it. A simple Primeknit upper consisting of marbled black and grey shades (the Steel Grey shade is most prominent on the “Silver” rendition given the second place inspired heel) while a white Boost construction rests on a Continental rubber outsole. Metallic touches transform the usual matte finish on the supportive heel cage while the overlaying three stripes get a matching black treatment.

More and more colorways of the original NMD and the all-new NMD XR1 continue to surface in what’s expected to be a huge month for adidas Originals.

This latest pack is being known as the NMD XR1 Glitch Pack and will be releasing exclusively for the ladies. This NMD XR1 comes with flat-knit glitch motif on the shoe?s united upper that adds a striking accent to the shoe?s design. Other details include a premium leather heel-patch and the signature BOOST tooling with EVA plug inserts. The sneakers will be offered in in Collegiate Blue and Grey colorways and will release at select adidas Originals retailers on August 18th.

adidas plans to open up a 74,000 square-foot adidas Speedfactory in Atlanta, Georgia that will focus on the production of their new running footwear, expected to be open and running during the second half of 2017. The goal is to produce nearly 50,000 pairs of new runners in 2017 and with all of the advancements in their Ultra Boost and NMD lines, it will be an exciting time for the three stripes.

According to Fortune Magazine, adidas is currently churning out nearly 300 million pairs of shoes each year. By opening a U.S. facility, the German-based brand hopes to shorten shipping distances and create better quality control for their growth in the United States. The adidas Speedfactory will create around 160 American-based jobs. There’s currently a Speedfactory-branded adidas warehouse in Ansbach, Germany that will start production in the near future.

?For years our industry has been playing by the same rules manufacturing product remotely in Asia,? adidas executive board member Eric Liedtke said. The upcoming design studio in Brooklyn, New York and the planned factory in Atlanta, Georgia will allow the trefoil brand to ?make product for the consumer, with the consumer, where the consumer lives in real time.?

The shoe starts off with a tough yet lightweight leather upper that provides you with more than enough stability. When it comes to medals, everyone is shooting for the gold. But the silver and bronze medals aren’t too shabby, either. That should be the same story for the adidas Ultra Boost “Olympic Medals” pack releasing later this month. The gold medal edition, complete with shiny gold heel counter and premium leather “cage” will no doubt be the most sought after of the pack, but the silver?which we get a close look at here today?and bronze editions certainly aren’t going to be sitting on the shelves for long.

Coming in at second place, the “Silver Medal” colorway features a shiny metallic heel just like the gold version, but doesn’t get the same leather cages in favor of the standard TPU cage that the bronze colorway is constructed with. It also receives some more variation in color across the Primeknit upper, featuring shades of grey added in. Get a good look at the “Silver Medal” edition here, and expect them with the other two Olympic medal colorways at select adidas Originals retailers on August 17th.

What you see above is said to be the official adidas James Harden logo. Not only that, but it’s also said to be the first sneak peak at James Harden’s first signature sneaker with adidas.

We just came across a campaign on IG that’s dubbed “Project Harden”. With already over 14K followers, the first few images of the IG profile show what appears to be the tongue section of Harden’s upcoming sneaker. The tongue houses the aforementioned Harden logo. Not much other info is provided, but if you’re interest in keeping up to date with Harden’s upcoming signature sneaker, I’d start follwing @projectharden on IG.

We just let you know that this colorway of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 2.0 could be releasing next month, now we just came across another colorway of the Yeezy Boost 350 2.0. I think it’s safe to say Yeezy season is among us!

These new images of the shoe give you a pretty good idea of what this colorway is all about.  The shoe starts off with a Black Primeknit upper. Creating some contrast is the signature White streak placed on the lateral side of the shoe that houses the SPLY-350 branding. A Black Boost infused sole unit and a set of Black laces round out the main features of the shoe. No word on when this pair will drop but be sure to check back to get all the latest info.

One of Kobe Bryant’s classic sneakers from back in his adidas days will be receiving the retro treatment. Adidas will be bringing back the adidas KB8 3 in order to celebrate Kobe Bryant’s retirement season.

Since Kobe is no longer tied in any way with adidas, adidas will be releasing the shoe under the name adidas Crazy 3. At the moment we know that the sneaker will be releasing in two Lakers theme colorways, one home and one away. The Home pair features a predominantly white upper with purple and gold accents while the Away pair comes with black on the majority of the upper with purple and gold accents.

No exact release information is available yet but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

The name of the shoe is still up in the air, as recently surfaced images have labeled these as the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2. The pair we had in our hands said Yeezy Boost 550, which may have just been a sample tag. We can confirm that the shoes we showed you came directly from within Kanye’s camp, so no fu-fu features here. This newest gallery gives yet another look at the shoes with the signature white streak, although the grey/red pair might be the more desirable of the two.
