Get Ready For The Fall With The Brand New adidas Y-3 Qasa Boot

Y-3 Qasa Boot 1 Y-3 Qasa Boot 2

Fall season is just a few days away. Are you ready for it? If you need some Fall appropriate footwear, maybe you should take a look at the brand new adidas Y-3 Qasa Boot. Yohji Yamamoto and adidas collaborate once more and transform the beloved Qasa in to a boot this Fall. Let’s take a closer look.

The adidas Y-3 Qasa Boot was originally unveiled back in January during a runway in Paris while introducing the seasonal collection. Now it’s available for purchase! The boot attempts to keep many of the shoe’s original aesthetics. It still comes with a Tubular-esque sole unit. It still rocks the elastic strap across the upper. It remains constructed out of a neoprene upper and rocks a set of waxed laces. The difference lies in the extended collar that converts the shoe into a boot while also adding six more set of eyelets to help give it that boot look. The boot also comes with premium leather and a carbon fiber-like textile, while inside you will find performance Poron lining to complete the major features on the boot. Out now, pick up a pair of your own for $384.

Author’s Take

It does look like a Y-3 creation. If you like the original Y-3 Qasa, I’m pretty sure you’re also going to look the boot version. I have no need for it, but it does have a pretty cool look.

Why You Might Not See The adidas Yeezy Cleats In Madden NFL 17 (Hint: It Has To Do With Taylor Swift)

So the adidas Yeezy cleats made quite the splash on NFL Opening Weekend. Von Miller wore the 750 during warm-ups on Thursday night and DeAndre Hopkins made history by being the first to score a touchdown in the 350. The cleats went viral, which is a common occurrence in the NBA, but not so much in the NFL, save for customs that never got worn in the actual game because the league hates fun

But since Yeezys are allowed on the field, surely that means the door is now open for Yeezys to make their way onto Madden NFL 17, the premiere NFL video game franchise in the world. The cleats are set to release sometime in the future so a tandem day and date release in the game would be awesome. But thanks to social media, we got our answer and it’s not what you might expect. Because Taylor Swift…

Here’s our original tweet asking Peter Moore, one of the heads of EA (and he played a huge role in the launch of the Sega Dreamcast so he’s cool).

The first reply came from Andrew Johnson, community manager at EA Sports.

Not bad, at least they’re aware there’s a passion to get the Yeezys “in the game” (and who’s to say adidas and EA haven’t already been in discussions?). But then Moore dropped the hammer and it’s actually pretty great, regardless of whether he’s serious or if it’s tongue-in-cheek.

And there you have it, Moore is on Team Swift (if you need a refresher as to why, here’s a timeline). I’m guessing this is all in good fun and hopefully the cleats will not be excluded from this narrative and will be in the game at some point in the future. If not, this is hilarious either way for me…

This adidas D Rose 7 Rocks A Classic Black And White Upper

adidas D Rose 7 1 adidas d rose 7 2 adidas d rose 7

While every New York Knick fan is patiently waiting for a Knicks colorway to drop on the adidas D Rose 7, adidas will continue releasing other colorways that don’t really correlate with what Rose will be wearing on the court. Up next is this adidas D Rose 7 rocking a traditional Black and White makeup.

The D Rose 7 starts off with a Black base that takes care of the majority of the Primeknit upper. Breaking up the tonal look of the shoe are the hits of White placed on areas such as the Three Stripes branding on the toe, the Boost equipped sole unit, the branding on the tongue, and the stripe on the pull heel. Two-toned laces tie up the entire look together. Out now, pick up your very own pair today for $140.

I’ve yet to see them in person. They look good and the look like the feel good too. Great colorway if you’re looking for something kind of neutral. The D Rose 7 looks pretty dope.

The adidas Yeezy 750 Cleat Will Be Releasing To The Public

YEEZY 750 CLEAT 1 YEEZY 750 CLEAT 2

Were you a fan of the adidas Yeezy 750 Cleat that was debuted last week by Von Miller in the NFL season opener? The lifestyle shoe turned football cleat has received mixed reviews much like the Yeezy Boost 750 did when it was first unveiled.

The three stripes announced via their adidas Football IG account that the shoe is “coming soon” with no other release details available at the moment.

The adidas Yeezy 750 Cleat features a full nubuck upper in grey/off-white with a strap across the midfoot, and a Quickframe plate to make them suitable for the field. The expected retail price for the adidas Yeezy 750 Cleat is $300. Does anyone plan on buying a pair? Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

If you buy these then that means you REALLY love Yeezys. $300 for a pair of football cleats (that you can only wear for football) is crazy.

This adidas D Rose 7 Is More Brooklyn Nets Than New York Knicks

It looks like adidas is still working on some new Knicks colorways for the D Rose 7 Boost after his team switch this off-season, as more basic colorways of the shoe continue to hit the market. Basic isn’t always boring, though, as you can see by this super clean look for the latest and greatest Derrick Rose signature model in black with white accents. Its In The Game (Hopefully Soon): The adidas Yeezy Cleats Need To Drop In Madden NFL 17

Dear EA Sports,

Nobody cares about cleats in Madden like they do the sneakers in 2K. Ok, that’s not totally true. People care enough about the cleats in Madden in so much that they are accurate to what the players are wearing on the field, right down to Earl Thomas’ Air Jordan exclusives. But the video game community that happens to intersect with the sneaker community does not by and large freak out over even the hottest of Jordan or Nike cleats in Madden like they do when something that’s hot fire pops up in 2K. That’s just the nature of the culture and you know, because we can’t wear those cleats outside of the field.

Fox Sports DeAndre Hopkins Adrian Peterson Von Miller

But that all changed this past week when adidas and Kanye West entered a whole new world and dove right into the. From Von Miller to DeAndre Hopkins, a bevy of adidas Football’s biggest names were all gifted adidas Yeezy cleats for NFL Opening Weekend. While Miller only wore his Yeezy 750 Cleats during warm-ups, it was Hopkins who made history when he scored the first touchdown in Yeezy 350 cleats. When was the last time the world made a big deal out of somebody scoring a touchdown in a specific type of cleat? Probably never.

All sports video game developers pride themselves in being the “most accurate.” From the the presentation of the sport whether it’s the commentary or the camera angles or the uniforms having the correct logos and patches to stadium sounds to that are unique to one team, it’s all part of the hard work and research that they put in to make sure that we are getting an authentic experience. So what better way for EA to show that they really are living up to their tagline “It’s In The Game” than by bringing the cleat that set the sports world buzzing into their game. And we know that EA Sports knows that people are watching…
