The adidas NMD continues to undergo changes as we now see the lifestyle runner get beefed up for the upcoming Fall season.

Up above we take a look at what’s being known as the adidas NMD Chukka TR. Adidas has transformed what was once a low-top runner into what’s now essentially a sneakerboot/hiking shoe. This new version of the NMD features a new mid-top chukka look, a new canvas-type material on the upper, leather detailing on the heel counter, and new treading on the outsole that will give you a better grip when the rain and snow eventually get here.

Expect the adidas NMD Chukka TR to arrive at select retailers on October 1st. Will you be copping a pair?

Check this out. The adidas Y-3 line got its hands on the adidas Originals Superstar and gave it a revamped look, zippers included. Don’t knock it before you try it, let’s take a closer look at what is officially known as the adidas Y-3 Super Zip.

The adidas Y-3 Super Zip has a sleeker look compared to a normal Superstar due to the fact that it does not come with Three Striped branding on the sides. In Y-3 fashion, they’ve decided to give the model some added oomph by adding some zippers and removable panels right down the center of the shoe. By doing this, you end up having several different ways of styling the shoes, it’s up to you to find the right combination. Yohji Yamamoto branding appears on the tongue, while off-White midsole and shelltoe remain true to form. Available now at select retailers, pick up your very own pair for $340.

Opting to switch things up a bit, the adidas Gazelle comes constructed out of a leather upper instead of the usual suede build we’ve seen during these last couple of months. The shoe comes in the aforementioned all-Black leather look that also included the embossed trefoil branding on the tongue, Three Stripes on the side panels, lining, laces and last but not least, the entire sole. Last night in New York, Ronnie Fieg held his first ever KITH fashion show. If you weren’t able to be in attendance, Kith also provided a live stream of the show so you could watch wherever you were.

One thing that caught the attention of many of the people there and the countless others watching from home, were the shoes on Ronnie Fieg’s feet. Said to be an upcoming collaboration with adidas, what you see above is Ronnie Fieg’s very own adidas Ultra Boost Mid. So not only does Kith/Fieg get their own Ultra Boost collab, they had the freedom to convert it into a mid. Pretty dope, right?

The MLB’s first team to clinch a playoff spot this season is none other than the Chicago Cubs. If you’re a fan of the team or baseball in general, you know that Kris Bryant had a huge part in making that happen. The reigning Rookie of the Year and MVP candidate leads the team in both batting and home runs. With him being an adidas athlete, adidas wanted to do something special for him in anticipation for his upcoming postseason run.

What you see above is special set of champagne-inspired cleats that adidas gifted Bryant. As some of you may know, the champagne theme ties to the tradition of champagne being the drink of choice when it comes to celebrating in the locker room after clinching a spot in the playoffs, winning a division or most importantly, the World Series. As an added touch, adidas even included a golden ice bucket along with the shoes.

For those of you who know their cleats, the cleats given to Bryant were the Energy Icon Boost 2.0 and Afterburner 3.

We previewed a handful of new upcoming colorways of the adidas EQT Support ADV Cool. It was reported that many of the new colorways would be dropping this month. Just recently we found out that the adidas EQT Support ADV Cool Grey is already arriving at select international retailers. Today we take another look at the shoe.

This version of the adidas EQT Support ADV comes constructed out of a suede, mesh and synthetic upper predominantly done in a Cool Grey color scheme. Notable features on the shoe include the Three Stripes branding placed on the side panels and of course, the signature translucent cage  reinforcing the rear portion of the shoe. The sole comes in a clean White rubber fashion that not only provided nice contrast, but comfort as well. Already available internationally, we hope these land stateside any day now.

Earlier in the week we gave you a first look at a new colorway of the adidas Ultra Boost that featured a new design/pattern placed on the Primeknit upper.

It turns out that this may be the next Chinese New Year colorway of the Ultra Boost. Completely differentiating itself from the CNY pair that released earlier this year, this Ultra Boost features a black and red Primeknit upper with a special circular Chinese New Year logo on the tongue. A white Boost midsole and black rubber outsole complete the look on this Ultra Boost.

There is no release date yet, but the shoe may be releasing in early 2017. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

To support the Louisville Cardinals football team, a special variation of the adidas Ultra Boost is revealed and somewhat similar to the previously released Multicolor 2.0 version this past July. Unlike that aforementioned pair, this iteration flaunts a clean white profile with the only notable contrasting element directed at the heel cage in red to perfectly coordinate with the team’s signature color.
