While we all await the release of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga this weekend, today we take a look at new images that have surfaced of what is believed to be the Oxford Tan colorway of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2.

Inspired by the Oxford Tan colorway of the original Yeezy Boost 350, this V2 version of the low top sneaker comes with a lighter shade on the upper that looks more like white than tan. The side stripe with the “SPLY-350″ wording on the side panels comes in tan while a grey Boost midsole wraps things up.

There is no release date yet for the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Oxford Tan but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates. In the meantime take a look at the latest images above.

Author’s Take

This doesn’t look much like the original Oxford Tan colorway. I don’t think the name really matters though, these will fly off the shelves if they eventually release.

In a few days we’ll see the highly anticipated release of the first colorway of the all-new adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2.

The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 features three different colors on the Primeknit upper including Steel Grey, Beluga, and Solar Red. Other notable details include a Solar Red stripe that has been added on the side panels which reads “SPLY-350″ and a semi-translucent Boost midsole.

Author’s Take

I don’t see many differences between this pair and the original 350 other than the side stripe with the “350-SPLY” wording. The only reason I’d buy a pair is to resell it, but I won’t be jumping over any hoops to do so.

Our First Look At The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Blink

For those of you taking an L this weekend  looking to get your hands on the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga this weekend, if you happen to come up short, don’t sweat it, more colorways are on the way. Take for example this brand new pair we came across today. Coming in Black and Pink, here’s our first look at the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Blink.

Rocking the same motif as the Beluga pair dropping this weekend, this pair comes with a Black Primeknit upper contrasted by the Pink noted on the stripe running across the lateral side panels that also read ?SPLY-350.? A Black Boost infused sole unit is placed below to keep the fluidity if the shoe going. Another feature worth noting is the White Three Stripes branding placed on the inner part of the heel. No word on when these will drop, but I’m pretty sure Yeezy enthusiasts want it to be sooner rather than later.

Author’s Take

If I was a betting man, I’d say these will be more coveted than the Beluga pair dropping this weekend.

The adidas ZX Flux Returns With This Graphic Static Print Colorway

ADIDAS ZX FLUX 1 adidas-ZX-Flux-Static-Print-1 adidas-ZX-Flux-Static-Print-2

When it comes to adidas, the NMD, Ultra Boost, and Yeezy Boosts have been taking all the shine. But before any of those came along, adidas was making waves with the ZX Flux.

Adidas hasn’t forgotten about the lifestyle runner as they still release new colorways every here and there. One of the latest pairs that will be offered this Fall is this Static colorway that we see above which comes with a graphic black and white upper that is meant to resemble a static print. A woven textile material dominates the upper while white detailing has been added on the heel cage and sole unit, and black has been placed on the three stripes branding, laces, and inner liner.

Look for this Static Print colorway of the adidas ZX Flux at select retailers this Fall. Will any loyal fans of the silhouette be picking up this colorway? Let us know in the comments below.

via: Afew

Author’s Take

I always “kind of” liked the ZX Flux but never actually bought a pair. Now that there’s so many more options that use Boost technology I don’t think I’ll be buying a pair anymore.

I’ve heard good things about the Alpha Bounce, but I’ve never tried on a pair. I may pick up a pair down the line but it’ll be something with some more color.

adidas Futurecraft Made For Germany Unveiled

Since the Futurecraft line from adidas was unveiled, we’ve been waiting at the edge of our seats for an official release of the 3-D Printed sole that features a meticulous lattice structure that acts as the cushioning of the shoe. Today, adidas officially unveils the Futurecraft “M.F.G.” aka Made For Germany, which features a Boost outsole and a unique Primeknit upper that utilizes Aramis foot-mapping technology and a new heel counter built by a series of patches to provide support in place of the classic “cage”. In addition to to the Boost technology, adidas adds a Torsion bar for additional stability. What’s more is that the Futurecraft MFG was built inside the adidas SPEEDFACTORY in Ansbach, a footwear manufacturing facility run by robots. A future creation is slated to come out of the Cherokee County SPEEDFACTORY in ATLANTA. A release for the adidas Futurecraft MFG has not been confirmed; the 500 pairs in existence are likely to be given out to friends and family.

KoF Live: Unboxing The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga Made Me A Believer (Video)

Yes, they are worth the hype. Believe…

My gut reaction to the new adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga (because of the whale, get it?) was not positive when leaks started to come from all directions a few months ago. I understood the need for growing the 350 franchise because it’s clearly the more popular model compared to the 750, but the newly designed upper threw me off. “Why does it look so dirty and what the hell was that stripe with the “SPLY-350″ all across the upper?” was what I thought to myself as we covered the shoe for the next few weeks. Even when we got the official images from adidas, they still didn’t sit well with me. Basically, right up until yesterday, I was ready to write them off as just another “PASS” on our weekly Buy, Pass, Wait segments.

But that’s why we open the boxes.

adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 14 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 13 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 12 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 11 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 10 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 9 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 8 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 7 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 6 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 5 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 4 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 3 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 2 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 1 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 15

It’s not a total reboot of the 350; it still has a Priemknit upper, full-length Boost and the chunky midsole that’s influenced a lot of new adidas product lately. But it does enough that’s different and good that anybody who was still on the fence on these should make every effort to cop them (to wear) this weekend.

The upper features a more nuanced design that features some carryover from the first 350s but is definitely a more “mature” look. The shades of grey are more pronounced in person, but for me the real star of the shoe is the Solar Red “speckles” mixed in with the the greys and how they breathe life into the a silhouette that has become notorious for being monotone and drab by design. It worked for the last year’s 350s, but I think the introduction of the bright colors gives Kanye West and adidas more room to play around with for future releases.

Really, my only complaint is the “SPLY-350″ that’s prominently displayed on the Solar Red stripe that wraps around the upper. It’s not a deal breaker in person, but it’s the same problem I have with giant Jumpman on the Air Jordan XXX1; it’s one step too many.

So are they worth $220? Of course not, no sneaker is really worth that much money. But when you buy a Yeezy, you’re never just buying the shoe, you’re buying into the whole Kanye experience. You’re buying into his aesthetic, his choices and the notoriety – both real and imagined in your head – that comes with wearing them out. In this case, the new Beluga V2 is a good new entry into the Yeezy footwear story.

Author’s Take

Since Kanye?s abrupt departure from Nike, a part of me feels this is a subtle jab towards the brand with a ?flat? Swoosh. Other than that, I like the overall colorway and it?ll obviously get the attention it deserves.

I would’ve preferred the original pattern, but, this rendition isn’t that bad looking. Although it’s an appealing and versatile colorway, I’m not too keen on it that much. Only for resale purposes though — haha.

The adidas Ultra Boost continues to receive more variations this season, as it’s now introduced in a finish of solid grey/shock mint.

Composed of breathable primeknit across its upper, the component is essentially draped in a blend of light and dark tones of grey, while the contrasting element is focalized on the signature TPU heel counter which is outlined with shock mint accents. Finally, a crisp white midsole unit and continental outsole finishes off the appealing profile.

Retailing for $180, you can purchase this pair at select adidas retailers nationwide now.

You can never go wrong with this sneaker. This colorway is another appealing option and it’s suitable for all genders. I like how the mint accents are kept subtle.
