Is The Next Big adidas Y-3 Shoe The Cross Lace Run

adidas Y-3 is always cooking up some truly special lifestyle designs, but now Yohji Yamamoto’s imprint has the added benefit of utilizing some of the three stripe’s most sought after technological advances like Boost and Primeknit to give us even more options in the casual department. The latest creation is the adidas Y-3 Cross Lace Run in a traditional Black/White offering available today at select shops.

The adidas Y-3 Cross Lace Run is currently just a women’s exclusive and is comprised of a unique textile that appears as leather but is actually a lightweight synthetic. The slip-on upper also benefits from a zipper construction hidden by the strange lacing system with boot-like eyelets throughout the bottom half of the model. Boost fanatics can take solace in knowing that the Y-3 Cross Lace Run comes equipped with full-length Boost for a familiar and comfortable ride.

Check out more photos below and grab your pair from international retailers like Solebox today.

On the latest adidas NMD Olive offering we see the familiar green shade get matching midsole accents, a new heel panel bolstered for a more comfortable fit, and a white heel tab to match the midsole unit. The internationally themed “The Brand With The Three Stripes” appears in French on the back.

This All-Red adidas NMD R1 Is A Europe Exclusive

The adidas NMD hype appears to be alive and well, which is pretty impressive since its been hyped basically all year long. Up next is this all-Red colorway of the adidas NMD R1. The only downside is that it appears to be a Europe exclusive.

The adidas NMD R1 is dressed in a Red mesh upper paired up with even more Red placed on the pods, laces, branding and lining. Adding contrast is the White Boost sole unit placed below. The heel tab houses “The Brand With The Three Striped” phrase in what appears to be a foreign language. Pretty simple but it gets the job done, right? Find these at international retailers such as JD Sports.

Author’s Take

I don’t own any NMDs, but whenever I decide to pick one up, it would probably be of the Primeknit variation. Go big or go home, right?

Author’s Take

My favorite type of Y-3 models are the ones that utilize Boost. Although I do appreciate the uniqueness of the shoe, I don’t think this is a Y-3 Boost I’d wear.

Another All-Red adidas NMD R1 Just Released Overseas

We’ve already seen the insanely popular adidas NMD release in an all “Solar Red” colorway this past September, but now adidas Originals is back with an alternate option for those of you that missed out. Unfortunately, this adidas NMD R1 doesn’t feature the colorized Boost found in its predecessor nor does it utilize Primeknit, but for a general release, this is one of the best NMD options we’ve seen yet.

The adidas NMD R1 All-Red features a monochromatic ventilated mesh upper with camouflaged three stripe branding on the side panels thanks to a matching shade. A black outsole showcases the only contrast on this pair while a unique dual-colored lacing system features speckles of grey. The international “The Brand With The Three Stripes” hits the heel tab in this European exclusive release. Check out more detailed shots of this all-red adidas NMD option below and grab your pair while supplies last exclusively at JD Sports.

First Look At The adidas D Lillard 3

Damian Lillard isn’t your prototypical NBA superstar. Lillard recently denounced superteams saying that he’d never leave the Portland Trailblazers to join one, as he’d rather take a juggernaut like the Warriors down himself. It’s that David vs. Goliath mentality that’s made Dame one of the most exciting young players in the NBA today, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that adidas revamped his signature line with the most head-turning signature model yet with the adidas D Lillard 3.

Today we get a first look at the D Lillard 3, a low top offering that swaps out the occasional woven Primeknit construction for a breathable mesh and synthetic combination with a sleek supportive overlay for a unique design. There’s no word yet on what exact technological specifications were used in the model, but the familiar midsole design means Boost or Bounce is likely injected for a smooth, cushiony ride. Check out a few adidas D Lillard debut colorways below in the Blazers’ signature black, red, and white shades and let us know what you think of Dame and the three stripes’ latest in the comments section below.
