Heres An On-Feet Look At The adidas Ultra Boost Triple White 3.0
By SoleInsider
Expected to arrive some time in 2017, today we take our best look yet at the adidas Ultra Boost Triple White 3.0.
As you can tell by the name of the colorway, this will mark the third different time that adidas will be releasing a triple white version of the popular runner. The picture above shows the adidas Ultra Boost Triple White 3.0 on-feet as we can see that the Primeknit design on the upper is different from the previous two pairs. The cage overlay has also been done in a translucent milky hue for a new look. White can be seen on the heel counter, Boost midsole, and the rubber outsole to finish off the look.
Peep the latest look above and look for this Ultra Boost to release during Spring/Summer 2017.
Adidas Y-3 continues to release new silhouettes with one of the latest being this low-top runner known as the Y-3 Cross Lace Run.
The sleek silhouette features a moccasin/sock-like upper with a unique cross lacing system that extends from one side of the sneaker to the other. The tongue also features a zipper because you know this wouldn’t be a Y-3 sneaker if it didn’t stray away from the norm. This colorway comes in an all-black upper with a contrasting white Boost midsole down below.
So what are your thoughts on the adidas Y-3 Cross Lace Run? Are you a fan? Let us know down below and look for the silhouette at select Y-3 accounts now.
There’s no denying that the cross lace system is the most unique feature about this shoe. I actually kind of like it. It’s definitely something different.
Seen above is the adidas NMD which according to Foot Locker is part of something called the “Master Craft Pack” that may include additional NMDs or possibly other silhouettes. Unfortunately for those of us in the states, these look to be a Europe exclusive. Foot Locker Europe has announced that they’ll be dropping Saturday, October 15th, at 9am CEST online & in stores.
What are your thoughts on this colorway? Are you salty that they won’t be hitting the states? Will you be hitting up your overseas connect to try and grab a pair?

The next installment of the Yeezy saga continues this weekend as the fourth overall Yeezy Boost 750 colorway officially hits select shops around the globe. Featuring a “Light Brown” aka “Chocolate” suede upper and a gum sole that doubles as a glow-in-the-dark foundation, this new Yeezy Boost 750 is one of the last few known colorways of the debut Yeezys until the Yeezy Boost 750 v2 marks the next stage in Kanye’s takeover (yes, we said v2). The adidas Yeezy Boost 750 “Light Brown” will release at select retailers such as Rock City Kicks this Saturday, October 15th; the adidas Confirmed App will open up reservation opportunities today at 4PM EST.
The third iteration of the Ultra Boost is scheduled for a release this Spring/Summer 2017 season in several colorways. KoF Live: Unpacking The Eddie Huang x adidas adilette Slide Takeout Bag
By SoleInsider
In a year where we have received sneakers in all sorts of boxes, whether they be cardboard, plastic, glass, metal and others, it’s going to take a lot to raise our collective eyebrows over here at the Kicks On Fire offices. But damn if Eddie Huang and adidas Originals didn’t pull it off with their unique collaboration.
The chef/author/filmmaker has been all over the place lately, but Huang’s heart and world (get it? I’ll stop…) will always remain in the culinary world. To help celebrate his latest pop-up restaurant in NYC, Huang teamed up with adidas Originals to produce both a new Superstar and a very special adilette slide. Those who were in attendance for the restaurant manage to walk away with some very special packaging that included a “Huang’s World” plastic bag to go along with their fresh footwear. Little did we know that we didn’t have to fly to New York to get the same experience.
From the plastic bag (it’s even double bagged for maximum authenticity) to the check with my “order” of adilette slides to the menu that’s stapled onto the bag, you can tell that this played off of Huang’s experience as a restaurateur, not to mention anybody who has ever bought takeout from an Asian spot. Even the print on the plastic bag is straight out of any hole in the wall joint. The slides themselves are also quite exquisite with the map graphic that shows off Huang’s influences. Plus, the appearance of my motherland the Philippines makes them roughly a thousand times better, just saying…

The shoe is definitely growing on me, especially because of the Boost sole. If only the upper was done in Primeknit. I hope you’re listening adidas! Give the people what they want!
Chicago staple St. Alfred has teamed up with adidas Consortium as part of the three stripe imprint’s World Tour for a brand new take on the iconic adidas Gazelle with just the right amount of Gore-Tex technology to help make this pair winter-ready.
The St. Alfred adidas Gazelle utilizes a monochromatic shade of Chalk White throughout the suede-like upper while Gore-Tex technology helps keep your feet dry through a transparent coating that’s durable enough to help this offering last throughout the colder months ahead. Matching three stripe branding on the side panels helps retain a classic aesthetic while a unique Gore-Tex pendant hits the side panel in a contrasting copper for a unique twist.

The adidas NMD R1 isn’t going to rest on its laurels anytime soon with tonal colorways mass-produced to appease those that missed the opportunity to grab a particular shade the first time around. Sure, that’s definitely a part of the release slate this coming Holiday 2016 season, but adidas Originals continues to create head-turning colorways like Villa’s exclusive and this upcoming adidas NMD R1 Craftsmanship Pack slated to release on Saturday, October 15th exclusively at European Foot Locker locations.
The adidas NMD R1 Craftsmanship Pack takes the tried and true adidas NMD silhouette and adds a bolstered tan suede heel construction to an otherwise subdued tonal grey colorway. While a traditional ventilated mesh comprises the side panels, the rest of the heel and toecap get a bolstered synthetic leather in a matching grey shade to add a lifestyle twist to the must-have model. A full-length Boost cushion system rounds out the midsole for that signature comfort we’ve all come to know and love in regards to the adidas NMD R1.

The Man Behind The Iconic Triple White adidas Ultra Boost Photo Shows Off The Upcoming 3.0 Model
By SoleInsider
The adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 model is set for a release during the Spring/Summer 2017 season, and who better to give it a triumphant flexed-out on-foot preview than Derek Curry, the man who made the Ultra Boost a viral hit before Kanye ever did? The Sneaker Politics general put these on the sneaker blog and streetwear radar long before ‘Ye did, and today Derek’s giving us the triple-threat humble-brag of the next Ultra Boost model that is sure to be a massive hit.
What makes the Ultra Boost 3.0 distinct from the first two installments is the new Primeknit construction on the upper and a stylish opaque “cage” that should stop sneaker customizers and their X-ACTO knives in their tracks. Derek hints at a release in early 2017, so stay tuned for more updates on this new model and preview four confirmed colorways here.
The editorial simply depicts the silhouette’s complementary vibe with light and earthy tones. The sneaker’s brownish makeup is enhanced nicely with the washed blue denim jeans and an olive coat creates a simple, yet well-coordinated color scheme altogether.
The retail price is listed at $350 and it’s set to drop at adidas retailers on Saturday, October 15th.
I?m not a big fan of the silhouette overall. Although, the colorway is pretty appealing and stylish. I?d rank this pair as the best looking iteration so far.
