The black Primeknit woven upper features sublimated White Mountaineering adidas Originals branding throughout thanks to sleek tape-like supportive overlay stripes while a monochromatic finish adds a high-fashion twist to the must-have lifestyle model. Turns out, I’m the wrong person to open up a box of the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 Light Brown.

Normally when you do a sneaker unboxing, you want somebody that’s going to be hyped up to open it and talk about what’s cool about the shoe and how it’s the hottest thing ever (for that weekend’s slate of releases). I always keep that in mind when I do these things and usually try to only pick out only pre-release (special edition packages sent by brands or partners notwithstanding) sneakers that I have an interest in. There are exceptions to that rule, of course; just a few weeks ago, I did an unboxing for the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 that I was initially skeptical about but I ended up loving the sneaker and talked incessentaly about Beluga whales. Nothing of that sort happened when I unboxed these 750s. They were fine for what they are and I’m sure Yeezy fans will buy them in droves, but just watch and you’ll see…

This Fall/Winter season, adidas will be releasing their adidas Day One Capsule Collection. adidas has said that this premium capsule ?will explore, elevate, and celebrate a new facet of the adidas DNA.? The main objective is to convert the brands performance aesthetics into that of a lifestyle one.

The collection consists of two different categories: running and outdoors. Each utilizes key elements of ?style, attitude, innovation and confidence.? Some of the offerings include a camo tee, waffle crew sweater and utility jacket, a gore parka, storm shell, utility vest, and tech zip-up. When it comes to the footwear, the adidas ADO Pure Boost ZG comes in your choice of Pantone Green of Core Black ($180). No exact release date yet, but you can expect the entire collection to release sometime in November.

The Saint Alfred x adidas Consortium Gazelle OG GTX is constructed out of a water-resistant upper done in a tonal off-White suede construction. The sleek look of the shoe also has it come with Gore-Tex on the lining for even more protection for the harsh weather conditions. Additional water resistant features include the gusset on the leather tongue. A soft leather heel and collar give the shoe a nice premium feel. Tonal laces, a White sole unit and a gum outsole complete the look. Expect the shoe to release at Saint Alfred in-store and online on October 22nd, with a wider release expected October 29th. Retail price is set at $130.

The adidas Y-3 Approach Reflect is said to be a winter-ready sneaker derived from the Yohji line. The upper consists of a knit construction while the beloved Boost tech can be found on the sole. This particular color has the model come in Black and White, which also includes the heel counter, Three Stripes branding and pull tabs. Want a pair? Expect the to drop on the 18th of this month.

The adidas Y-3 Sport Approach Reflective is the most head-turning design of all thanks to the combination of a full-length Boost midsole unit, a sleek upper that’s somewhere between the Qasa and Y-3 Boost, all while a high-arching ankle support gives an elastic fit thanks to a striped Primeknit addition. The signature matte black colorway displays sublimated three stripe branding on the side panel, rope laces, and premium leather detailing on the heel and tongue tabs to contrast unique perforations throughout. The men’s exclusive highlights the upcoming footwear collection through a unique simplicity and premium textiles native to the Y-3 lineup.

Y-3 will also be prepping for the colder months ahead through the hiking-inspired adidas Y-3 Sport Trail, available in both a men’s and women’s size run. The original adidas Ultra Boost has already undergone a few notable changes and in the near future we’re expected to see the latest version with the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0.

Using the same construction and design as the upcoming Triple White 3.0 colorway, this third version of the Ultra Boost comes constructed with a newly designed Primeknit upper this time colored in red. The heel counter, laces, and inner liner have also been done in red while a white Boost midsole and black rubber outsole finish things off.

There is no release date for the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 just yet, but keep it locked to Kicks On Fire for updates.

Not expected to release until October 16th, the White Mountaineering x adidas NMD City Sock unexpectedly dropped at retailer Packer Shoes today. By the time you ready this they’ll already be sold out, but hopefully we’ll see another drop next week on the original release date.

Adidas has linked up with sportswear label White Mountaineering to create a collaborative version of the NMD City Sock which features a Black Primeknit upper with White Mountaineering branding across the upper and heel. A white Boost midsole with black EVA inserts and a black rubber outsole complete the look.

Look for the White Mountaineering x adidas NMD City Sock to release once again on October 16th for a retail price of $200.
