Introducing The Pharrell x adidas Tennis Hu And Stan Smith Icons Pack

adidas has brought together two heavy hitters that are keeping their brand at the forefront of the sneaker game with this new collection between icons Pharrell Williams and Stan Smith.

Known as the Pharrell x adidas Tennis Hu Icons Pack and the adidas Originals Stan Smith Icons Pack, the collection includes vibrant color options of both silhouettes. Since Pharrell’s Tennis Hu is heavily inspired by the Stan Smith it was only right that a pack would release which brings both sneakers together. The Icons Pack includes a variety of colorways such as tonal options of Tactile Rose, Icey Blue, and Linen Green, complemented by White colorways with accent details on the heel and tongue that unite the lighthearted palette of Pharrell Williams with the original adidas tennis aesthetic.

As far as the Stan Smith releases go, the classic sneaker gets a color update, which compliments each Tennis Hu offering available in a premium full-grain leather. Key design features include single tone-on-tone coloring while others follow the traditional Stan Smith archetype: crisp white leather accented with pops of color.

You can find the entire Pharrell x adidas Tennis Hu Icons Pack and the adidas Originals Stan Smith Icons Pack at select global adidas Originals retailers beginning on August 10th for $110 each.

A First Look At The adidas D Rose 8 Knicks (Yes, Knicks)

Above you will get a first look at the adidas D Rose 8 Knicks. Yes, Knicks. As in Derrick Rose’s former NBA team. Now a Cleveland Cavalier, we find it kind of odd to see adidas release a colorway of the adidas D Rose 8 in Rose’s old team colors. Albeit, it’s not an “official” Knicks colorway, you can clearly see why the internet is calling these the adidas D Rose 8 Knicks.

The adidas D Rose 8 Knicks features a full Royal Blue upper with Black detailing on the tongue, laces, heel counter and midsole. Giving the shoe the Knicks vibes are the Orange contrasting accents noted on the tongue logo, heel branding and part of the outsole. Matching the comfort with the aesthetics is the full-length Boost cushioned sole done in Black and White. Currently available in China, we will let you know if/when these get a stateside release date. Would you cop?

A First Look At The adidas Harden Vol. 1 MVP (Yes, MVP)

Yes, you read that correctly. This colorway of the adidas Harden Vol.1 is dubbed the adidas Harden Vol. 1 MVP. We know Harden was not this year’s MVP, but adidas felt he had such a good season, there’s a pretty good chance that he’d probably be MVP almost any other season and even this season had it not been for the record-breaking season Brodie had.

The adidas Harden Vol. 1 MVP comes in a White upper made out of suede and mesh. The tonal upper is then complimented by the Gold branding found on the heel, tongue and commemorative custom insoles. The Gold and translucent White sole matches up with the motif of the upper to complete the MVP theme of the shoe. Want a pair? Priced at $200, you can now find the adidas Harden Vol. 1 MVP at select retailers such as RevUps Sports.

Hender Scheme x adidas Sneaker Collaborations Are On The Way

Business of Fashion is reporting that Hender Scheme x adidas sneaker collaborations are on the way. We can expect to see collabs centered around the Micro Pacer (seen above), NMD and the Superstar.

Back in late June, Motofumi ?Poggy? Kogi from Japanese retailer United Arrows & Sons leaked an image of the Micro Pacer. Ever since then, we knew something was up and it was only a matter of time.

For those of you who follow Hender Scheme, you know they take pride in creating luxury and premium versions of some of your favorite models. Quality is always top notch. They will be the ones producing the shoe in the collab, not adidas. Each of the 800 pairs are crafted in the same Japanese workshops as Hender Scheme?s homage creations, and yes, they all also be using the same leather.

Hender Scheme founder Ryo Kashiwazaki had this to say about the release: ?We are making these shoes our way, so we can only make so many. But we also love sneakers, and what adidas does in a different way, like manual versus industrial products. So maybe we can find a way in the future where these methods can work together.?

Stay tuned as new info and images begin to surface.
