It may be a little late for March Madness, but it looks like Nike will soon be bringing back at least a couple of the original team-based colorways of the Nike Dunk from 1985. It’s the “Kentucky” and “St. John’s” versions we get a preview of here today, in blue/white and red/white color combinations, respectively. Surely a welcome sight for any fan of the Dunk or Nike’s vintage basketball silhouettes, would you like to see even more of the original “Be True To Your School” colorways release? Launching overseas on April 4th, stay tuned for further US release details for the OG Dunk Highs.

Python Skin Takeover On The adidas EQT Running Cushion

The adidas Equipment imprint has recently been overshadowed by the progress made with the three stripe’s recent Boost cushion system and advancements in Primeknit design. That doesn’t mean that the retro running regime hasn’t been steadily releasing heat well over the past two years though, and adidas EQT continues to do so. This adidas EQT Running Cushion would be the perfect consolation prize for anyone who missed out on Pusha T’s black snakeskin collaboration, as this general release pairs an ominous synthetic python with soft touches of matching suede to coincide with a light grey ribbon branding and heel construction. What do you think of the look? Buy this pair today from retailers like Rock City Kicks.

Who here has a pair of any of the colorways of the classic Nike Dunk High Be True To Your School Pack? Odds are that if you do, you’re probably in need for a fresh new pair being that they released quite some time ago. We have good news for all of you who are looking to pick up a new pair, Nike is set to retro the classic “Be True To Your School” pack and today we get a glimpse of some of the colorways that will make a return.

The two colorways you see above represent Kentucky and St. John’s respectively coming in the Varsity Royal/White and University Red/White colorways. Just like the OG versions, the shoes come in a leather constructed upper done up in the same color blocking we’re used o seeing the shoe in.  Tonal laces, lining and branding are in place, while a white midsole and tonal outsole complete the classic aesthetics of the shoe. No word yet on what other school will make up the pack this time around, but as of right now these are the only two that have been unveiled. Both pairs are currently available in Japan, but stay tuned to find out when you will be able to pick up a pair in the states.

The Nike Air Force 1 is as classic and iconic as it gets when it comes to basketball shoes. The Nike Air Force 1 being recognized as a golf shoe? Not at all. Things are about to change as Nike has decided to created a version of the Nike Air Force 1 that’s more than suitable for the golf course. Introducing the Nike Lunar Force 1 G.

Made especially for the golf course, the new model utilizes Lunarlon cushioning paired up with a waffle tread traction pattern that provide you enhanced stability while doing your thing on the course. The upper appears to keep the majority of the shoe’s classic aesthetics, whereas the sole unit appears to be the area that undergoes the majority of the changes. The White/White version is the colorway you see above, but the shoe is said to also be releasing in Black/White beginning on April 1st for $140. Thoughts on the shoe? Let us know in the comments below.

Author’s Take

It doesn’t look too bad. The Air Force 1 is a timeless and classic looking shoe, and being that the upper appears to look the same, I don’t see anything wrong with the shoe. Jordan retros have transformed into golf shoes, why not the AF1?

All Of These Colorways Of The adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Camo Drop In Less Than Two Weeks

adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Camo 1 adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Camo 2 adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Camo 3 adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Camo 4

Have you hopped on to the adidas NMD hype train yet? Have you not been able to get a pair yet? If so, adidas will soon give you another chance at picking up the most popular model of 2016 (thus far), as four new colorways of the adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Camo are set to release sooner than you expect.

This version of the adidas NMD is the best (and most expensive) version that adidas has to offer. The fact that the upper comes with Primeknit construction and the sole comes infused with Boost technology makes this version very highly coveted. The uppers come in tonal camo colorways to give the shoe a clean and distinct look. Two camo colorways released not too long ago and they managed to sell out instantly, expect the same outcome on all four of these pairs. Releasing April 9th for $170, all I can say is good luck in getting a pair. Looking to get one? Let us know which pair in the comments below.

Author’s Take

I like the shoe, but I’m not very crazy about the camo colorways. I’d rather wait for more solid colored offerings to drop somewhere down the line.

Our First Look At The adidas D Rose 7

adidas d rose 7 1 adidas d rose 7 2

It’s hard to believe that Derrick Rose already has 6 adidas signatures shoes under his belt. The fact that he’s been injured more often than not in the past several years have caused the casual fan to overlook Rose and his shoes. It looks as it Rose may have turned the corner this year though. While he may not be the MVP-type Rose we’re used too, being able to play an entire season without a significant injury is a victory within itself. With that being said, perhaps next year will be another year of improvement. If that is in fact the case, Rose will be doing it while wearing the adidas D Rose 7, his 7th adidas signature shoe.

The shoe above is shown in 2 tonal colorways. Both are contrasted by a white midsol. Notable features on the shoe include the Three Stripes branding on the toe. The full-length Boost midsole and what appears to be a Primeknit upper. Check out the first look at the shoe, let us know what you think and stay tuned for more information regarding Rose’s next signature shoe.

Author’s Take

It looks very different from what we’re used to seeing on the Rose signature line. It may be just me, but doesn’t it resemble the Nike LeBron 13 just a little bit? I’ll reserve my judgement until more pictures are leaked, but the fact that it comes with Boost and Primeknit means that it’s already off to a good start.

BEAMS x Reebok Instapump Fury

Japanese retailer BEAMS is teaming up with the iconically head-turning Reebok Instapump Fury silhouette in honor of their 40th anniversary. In a climate where stand-out mismatched color-blockings like Nike’s infamous “What The” series are more than successful releases, this latest “Crazy” edition implements a similar thought process, just in a subtle way. BEAMS utilizes two different shades for the overlay, lining, and heel construction as the right and left foot alternates between either a royal blue or tonal light grey. The difference in color choice per foot mirrors BEAMS’ Reebok collaboration from last year. Stay tuned for a stateside arrival later this Spring 2016 season and let us know if you’re a fan of the latest Reebok collaboration by taking your thoughts to our comments section.

Air Jordan 12 Wings Release Date

The theme of flight will forever be associated with Jordan Brand given Mike’s ability to hang in the air throughout the first half of his career. Spike Lee and Michael Jordan got together for some of the most iconic commercials the sneaker industry has ever seen, but perhaps the most infamous Jordan poster of all time is his ‘Wings’ spread that featured MJ’s wingspan and a quote by English poet William Blake. This brand new Air Jordan 12 takes inspiration from that 90s nostalgia trip with a luxe take on what would usually pass for the Playoff 12s. Known as the Air Jordan 12 “Wings”, a premium black leather base sees metallic gold accents hit the eyelets and ‘Wings’ adorned midsole for an added lifestyle touch. You can expect this pair to hit retailers later this April, so check out the best look at this premium AJ12 below and let us know if you plan on picking up the colorway by taking your thoughts to the comments section.

Update: The Air Jordan 12 “Wings” will release on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016.

The Air Jordan 12 Wings Has A Release Date (Spoiler: Its Soon)

April 2, 2016. The Air Jordan 12 Wings finally gets a release date and it’s not going to be a pretty sight. With the Air Jordan 12 French Blue and the Air Jordan 2 Low Gym Red also dropping on the same day, this could be one of the busiest and possibly most frustrating release weekends that doesn’t involve an All-Star Weekend or a major holiday in recent memory.

Limited to only 12,000 pairs, the Air Jordan 12 Wings co-opts the popular Air Jordan 12 Playoffs colorways and adds some gold to give it a luxurious finish.

The Nike Air Force 1 High QS Goes Full Canvas

Nike Sportswear appears to draw some influence from the classic Vandal for this next new edition of the Air Force 1 High, featuring a fully canvas constructed upper. With both models coming from the same early 1980s era and having similar designs, the Vandal-like makeover for the Air Force 1 translates pretty seamlessly, as you can see by this clean pair in black with off-white accents for a vintage feel. Expect the new canvas Air Force 1 High to his select Nike Sportswear retailers soon.
