New Images Of The Nike Air Foamposite Pro Hyper Cobalt

NIKE AIR FOAMPOSITE PRO 1 NIKE AIR FOAMPOSITE PRO 2 NIKE AIR FOAMPOSITE PRO 3 NIKE AIR FOAMPOSITE PRO 4 NIKE AIR FOAMPOSITE PRO 5 NIKE AIR FOAMPOSITE PRO 6

There’s a new colorway of the highly popular Nike Air Foamposite Pro scheduled to release later this Summer.

After seeing the release of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro University Red last month, Nike keeps things in the tonal department and now dresses up the retro basketball sneaker with a Hyper Cobalt upper. In addition to the bright blue upper, we see contrasting Black accents land on the jewel Swoosh, tongue, laces, inner liner, and on the leather eyestay and ankle. For those of you that are familiar with your Foamposites, this is the same colorway as the Ben Gordon PE pair that he wore back in the day.

Take a look at new images of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Hyper Cobalt that will release on August 26th for a retail price of $230. Will you cop?

Author’s Take

I’m a fan of royal blue so this is one of the nicer pairs of Foams that has released this year in my opinion. Will I cop? Probably not since I’m not a fan of the silhouette.

Another variation of the Nike Free Hypervenom Low is revealed for Spring 2016, as the soccer hybrid sneaker has been treated in a timeless hue of all-white.

Composed of breathable mesh across the majority of its upper to promote sufficient ventilation and a lightweight feel, tonal synthetic overlays adorn along its eyelets, collar section and rear portion to solidify its overall build.

A matching leather tongue with perforations further enhances breathability, while it all rests atop a comfortable full-length sole unit.

Rounded out with laces and subtle metallic silver Swooshes located across its heel tabs, you can purchase this pair at select Nike accounts overseas first.

Author’s Take

I’ve never purchased a pair but I am a fan of its design. This variation is a quintessential summer sneaker and I’m pretty tempted. If you’re looking for a different style of all-white sneakers, this should be it.

A Detailed Look At The Most Unexpected fragment design x NikeLab Collaboration Yet

It’s pretty safe to say that not a single hypebeast or reseller has bought a pair single pair of the Nike HyperRev 2016 performance basketball shoe the entire year it’s been out. But that’s about to change, because fragment design is about to launch their own three colorways of the shoe. With coveted collabs like the Air Jordan 1 and Sock Darts, the track record of Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design label speaks for itself, and has guaranteed that any sneaker they release now will have interest from the hype-loving masses. Fujiwara goes with his usual color treatment on the trio of HyperRevs, featuring a solid hued upper with minimal accenting colors for each. In this case, your options are grey/navy, black, white, and a decidedly more vibrant Volt/white, each with tonal fragment branding across the strap. Reportedly releasing this Friday in Europe, stay tuned for a confirmed US release date.

Author’s Take

This Mark Parker is my 2nd favorite pair from the Kobe 11 Muse Pack. It’s pretty hard to top the Tinker Hatfield pair, but the combination of black and royal blue on the Flyknit upper does look nice.

With its recent colorways consisting of Hasta, Black and Blue, the Nike Sock Dart is highlighted in a more vibrant rendition, this time consisting of Total Crimson.

As the name suggests the concept behind the silhouette was to create something that gripped your foot and act as if you’re not actually wearing a shoe. Comprised of a knitted fabric with elasticity and breathability, the upper is reinforced with a distinctive perforated mid-foot strap to ensure sufficient lockdown.

Offset against a clean white midsole unit with subtle black speckling, a TPU overlay is applied on the heel for additional reinforcement, as a black outsole finishes it all off.

You can find this latest colorway at select Nike retailers overseas starting Friday, May 20th, while a stateside release is imminent.

LeBron James Lifetime Deal With Nike Is For $1 Billion

Back in December we found out that LeBron James became Team Nike for life as he signed a lifetime deal with the brand. There was one big detail that was left out though, how much the deal was worth. All we knew was that “ESPN believed that it ?easily surpasses? the 10-year, $300 million deal that Kevin Durant signed last Summer.”

Today more details surfaced on the deal. According to Maverick Carter, LeBron’s childhood friend and business partner, the deal is worth a massive $1 billion. Carter recently sat down for an interview with GQ where he gave up the information.

How much was the deal for?
I can’t say.

Come on, Mav! Can you ballpark it?
What are people saying?

Kanye said a billion. So a billion.
[Maverick smiles and points one finger skyward.]

Holy shit.
Yeah. It’s a fantastic deal. Nike feels great about the deal. That’s the most important thing. As great as I feel, as great as LeBron feels?Nike feels fantastic about it. It’s the largest deal in the history of the company. Their hope is he makes even more. And our hope is that, too, obviously.

Infrared Colors The New Nike Air Zoom 90 IT

Nike Air Max 90 IT Nike Air Max 90 IT 1

While it was officially introduced just a few days ago, in addition to a preview of upcoming colorways expected to release soon, another rendition of the newly-introduced Nike Air Zoom 90 IT is previewed, as it’s rendered in the iconic Infrared finish.

Essentially inspired by the iconic Air Max 90 runner, this silhouette is specifically built for the golf course. Comprised of a waterproof, one-piece bootie construction, the tooling is revamped with an air-cushioned sole applied in the forefoot to offer lightweight and responsive cushioning, in addition to a rubber outsole with integrated traction.

An official release date for this particular pair has yet to be announced, although more colorways are scheduled to arrive at Nike retailers on June 1st.

Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for additional updates.

Author’s Take

I was actually wondering if the colorway would be offered on this silhouette. Given that the model is inspired by the AM90, it seemed obvious. Like I shared before, if I was an avid golfer, this will be my go-to pair.

NBA Kicks: Air Jordan XXX, Nike KD 8, Under Armour Curry 2.5, Air Jordan 12 The Master

If the Oklahoma City Thunder are going pull off the unthinkable and dethrone the defending NBA champions the Golden State Warriors, they’re going to need better performances from Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Yes, they did each score in the upper 20s and Westbrook took over towards the end of the game, but they also combined to miss 34 shots and the Warriors almost had another shot at the win if not for a blown call by the referee late in the game. But as fans we’ll take it because this means the Thunder are not going to back down from the Warriors behemoth and you know Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and the rest are going to bounce back from this with a better game. Should be a fun six more games, right? What?

Westbrook’s late-game greatness meant plenty of time for us to check out his Air Jordan 30 PE that should really be available for us to cop. As for the rest of the night in kicks, we saw Andre Roberson in some Master 12s, Steph continues to wear his Curry 2.5s, Dion Waiters broke out some Kyrie 1s and much more.

The Nike Lunar Flow Returns This Spring 2016

Nike Lunar Flow Nike Lunar Flow 1 Nike Lunar Flow 2 Nike Lunar Flow 3 Nike Lunar Flow 4 Nike Lunar Flow 5 Nike Lunar Flow 6 Nike Lunar Flow 7 Nike Lunar Flow 8 Nike Lunar Flow 9

After a five year hiatus of not being sold to the market, the iconic Nike Lunar Flow is set to make a comeback this season with slight material variations compared to its predecessor.

Showcased in black/white, green/red, and a blue/white version, which takes cues from the silhouette’s original neoprene release back in 1988, these revamped pairs incorporate a slightly wider mesh underlay to enhance more ventilation and breathability across the upper. The rest of the panelling is constructed with thin Hyperfuse strips to keep the profile intact, as it all rests atop a comfortable and crisp Lunarlon midsole unit.

Other notable details matching laces, the recognizable Swooshes across its side panels and more distinctive branding across its heel and tongue tab.

You can expect to find all three colorways at select Nike accounts overseas first starting this Friday, May 20th. Stay tuned for its arrival stateside, which should be very soon.

Author’s Take

I haven’t been aware about this silhouette until now. At least the name, but I do remember the profile. I’ve shared before that I’m a die-hard fan of runners and it’s nice to see this style revived. The upcoming colorways are solid too.

Nike SB Dunk High Raw Meat

Nike’s back with a new Dunk colorway that will be a favorite of carnivores, but something the vegans avoid with an upper that imitates raw meat. The Nike Dunk has skipped out on the immensely creative thematics that usually occupy its panels as of late, so it’s good to see the silhouette return to some head-turning ways here. The color choice is rather simple, as Challenge Red upper is interrupted by accents of Sail throughout in an effort to capture the marbelized fat seen on only the most premium cuts of beef. What do you think of this Nike Dunk High? Check out more detailed photos below and know that Rock City Kicks is stocking this skate classic today for $110 USD.

Coffee Details On This Nike SB Dunk Low

The latest variation of the Nike SB Dunk Low is arriving at retailers, as its particular makeup is inspired by coffee — the popular brewed drink prepared from roasted coffee beans.

While a direct correlation with Starbucks seems to be an obvious inspiration, the coffeehouse chain’s distinctive color for its branding is evident across the sneakers inner liner and outlining of the Swoosh in vibrant green, while the shoe’s khaki brown upper emulates the infamous drink or bean perfectly.

Touches of white for the laces, Swooshes, tongue and midsole unit caps off the overall palette. Retailing for $100, you can purchase this latest pair at select Nike accounts nationwide now.

Author’s Take

I used to collect this silhouette often back then. I actually would consider purchasing if this released before, but since I’m over that phase, it’s a pass. The execution is nicely done though.
