A Popular Pink-Box Nike SB Dunk Almost Makes A Return

While Nike SB Dunks during its peak of 2003-2006 is remembered for the bright colors and unprecedented details, the muted colorways often stood aside, gaining quite notoriety for simply having color-combos that were more palatable to the general public. Such is the case for 2005’s “Fog” releases – a high-top that featured a solid black suede upper and fog-grey midsoles, Swooshes, laces, and inner lining. This new 2016 release is by no means a retro of any kind, but the all-black colorway is a great reminder of some of the low-key hits from a decade ago. These will hit stores in the U.S. soon and are currently available overseas.

The Nike Air Max BW Denim Is Dropping Next Month

Nike Air Max BW 4 Nike Air Max BW 2 Nike Air Max BW 1 Nike Air Max BW 3

Just like the Nike Air Max 95, Nike has decided to give the Nike Air Max BW the denim treatment. Although we’re not used to seeing the classic Air Max model in denim, there’s no denying that the shoe looks promising in this new lifestyle look.

The shoe will boast an upper made out of a combination of denim and suede. Denim is placed on the toe, side panels and heels, while suede can be seen on the tonal mudguard and eyestay. Breaking up the tonal appearance of the shoe are the orange accents placed on the tongue and laces. A white midsole and gum outsole give the shoe a classic look. Slated for a May release, let us know what you think about this new look on the Air Max BW.

Denim Makes An Appearance On The Nike Air Max 95

When you think of the Nike Air Max 95, one of the last things that should come to mind is denim uppers and gum bottom outsole. Looking to give the classic Air Max model a different look, Nike uses features that for the most part are foreign to the model. Today we take a look at the latest look on the AM 95.

Opting for more of a lifestyle look, the shoe comes with a premium denim constructed upper complimented by the smooth leather accents and the off-white canvas stripe placed on the gradient side panels. The denim hits come in several different patterns and shades as they are noted on the gradient area placed on the side panels. Light brown is found on the laces and branding on the tongue. A navy-colored midsole and a gum bottom outsole sit below the base of the shoe. What do you think? Would you cop this new look on the Nike AM 95?

via: Nike

Author’s Take

Not a big fan of the AM 95 model, but this denim look on the shoe is not bad, not bad at all. I like how they utilized the denim on the gradient. It completely changes how I view the shoe.

San Francisco Giants Players Rock Custom Nike Kobe 11 Cleats For Opening Day

Baseball season is officially under way! Lots of teams played their first game yesterday, one of those teams happened to be the San Francisco Giants. Looking to show their respect to Kobe Bryant, a few of the Giants players decided to start the season off by wearing Nike Kobe cleats as a way to pay tribute to the Black Mamba.

The picture above shows left fielder Angel Pagan and right fielder Hunter Pence rockin’ a custom pair of Nike Kobe 11 cleats. The colorway has the cleat come in a black and white color scheme making it pretty subtle in appearance, but the fact that they managed to convert a Nike Kobe basketball shoe into a baseball cleat that you can actually play in is what’s most impressive. Do you like this new trend that has baseball players turning hoops shoes into baseball cleats? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Nike SB Teams With Artist Geoff McFetridge For Two Janoski Collaborations

Fans of the Nike SB Dunk know all about Geoff McFetridge and the history of his Paper Dunks. Back in 2011, the artist collaborated with Nike SB and the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art to create 24 original Dunk pairs comprised completely of original works by the artist. While you most definitely didn’t get your hands on a pair, Nike Skateboarding has commissioned McFetrdige once again for something a bit more accessible: two new Nike SB Stefan Janoski collaborative colorways. The classic canvas Janoski construction returns while a graphic print of human silhouettes floating throughout in either a White/Black or Royal/White option adds a unique twist. Check out more detailed photos below and know that select international shops like Size? have both pairs available today.

The Nike Air Max 95 Built With Denim, Suede, And Gum

Sergio Lozano’s iconic Nike Air Max 95 celebrated its 20th-anniversary last year with such classic installments as the “Neon” bringing some 90s nostalgia complete with original boxing. 2016 has seen the model take a backseat to other NSW offerings, but that doesn’t mean that the Swoosh isn’t finding new ways to keep Air Max fans interested in Lozano’s head-turning creation over two decades after originally arriving at retailers. The latest pair ditches traditional materials en lieu of a premium denim upper, smooth brown leather accents, and an off-white canvas stripe for an aesthetic more ready to fit into the autumn release slate than the current season. The only thing keeping traditions intact are the hidden reflective 3M accents on the tongue and heel. Stay tuned for a release date on this lifestyle-centric Air Max 95 and let us know if you’re a fan of the look by taking your thoughts to the comments section.
