I’ve been waiting for the flyknit to be applied on this lineage and it looks really solid. I like the classic colorway as well. I’m just biased.

First Look At The Nike Air Max 1 Flyknit

It’s about time. Tinker Hatfield’s iconic Nike Air Max 1 personified Nike’s need to push forward and innovate in the running category as visible air took the sneaker world by storm in 1987. Since then, Nike Sportswear has revamped the model in a number of modern day finishes from Jacquard, Lunarlon, Fuse, and more to showcase how diverse the silhouette truly is. Now Flyknit has finally arrived on the Air Max 1 for Summer 2016. The woven upper adds a breathable option to the iconic retro as the pattern of the mudguard maintains its shape in fuse form for added support to match the traditional outsole unit. An “Oreo” colorway nods at all of the success found in the Flyknit Racer series, a “Racer Blue” adds some depth through the use of black throughout, and an “Sport Red” creation harkens back to one of the original colorways from the Air Max 1s initial rollout in 1987. What do you think of the Nike Air Max 1 Flyknit? Check out more photos below and stay tuned for a release later this summer.

The Nike Air Zoom Trout 3 Is Officially Introduced

Nike Air Zoom Trout 3 1 Nike Air Zoom Trout 3

Following an initial preview, the new Nike Air Zoom Trout 3 is finally introduced in one of its inaugural colorways.

A signature cleat of Los Angeles Angels’ all-star outfielder, Mike Trout, the the silhouette has been updated with new tech to suit the baseball field. Boasting an engineered mesh construction and flywire that stretches vertically to lock in the foot over the plate, the heel bucket and TPU unit wrap the heel to prevent it from sliding.

In addition, a nine-cleat configuration and geometric divots on the outsole help prevent dirt from clinging to the plate, which minimizes any drag in motion. Furthermore, a visible Zoom Air unit has been applied to the line for the first time.

You can purchase the model at select Nike stockists starting next Friday, July 1st.

Author’s Take

The baseball cleats I would really wear are the special Jordan variations. This model, however, is pretty solid. I like the design and build as well.

Nike LeBron Soldier 10 EP Iridescent Swoosh

The Nike LeBron Soldier 10 is still taking its victory laps after being the featured shoe of the NBA Finals. LeBron had a series for the ages proving once again that he can’t be denied as the greatest basketball player in the world even with Steph Curry on the same floor. I like the 9 better, even though James wore this silhouette to win the championship. I?m just not a fan of the higher build and this is too bulky for my taste. Nice colorway though.

If you have fond memories of the ’90s and were into sneakers back then, there’s a good chance that you know what Nike model is pictured above. It’s the classic Nike Air Unlimited. The shoe is back all thanks to the collaboration between Pigalle and NikeLab.

The Pigalle x NikeLab Air Unlimited appear to remains true to form when it comes to how the shoe look. When it comes to the construction of it, there’s no doubt that it’s much better than the pair from 1994. The collaboration gives the shoe a modern aesthetic as the new materials and tonal White colorway vastly help give the shoe an updated feel. The shoe consists of criss-crossed forefoot straps, a neoprene sleeve and a heel cage all playing large roles in the unique look of the shoe. As of right now, we’re not sure if OG colorways of the model will be releasing in the future. What we do know is that this particular shoe will release exclusively at NikeLab’s P75 location and Pigalle Paris on June 25. Would you like to see GR releases in OG colorways of this shoe? Let us know in the comments below

via: NikeLab

Author’s Take

I wasn’t into shoes back in ’94, so I know very little of this model. With that being said, I don’t think I’d rock these if they ever releases GRs here in the states.
