Another Colorway Of The Nike Kobe 11 Elite 4KB Drops This Summer

NIKE KOBE 11 ELITE 4KB 1 NIKE KOBE 11 ELITE 4KB 2 NIKE KOBE 11 ELITE 4KB 3 NIKE KOBE 11 ELITE 4KB 4

If you were a fan of the Nike Kobe 11 Elite 4KB that dropped earlier this year, we’re sure you’re also going to like this new colorway that has the shoe come rocking a brand new colorway. Instead of coming with a White base, this new variation comes rocking different shades of red to give the shoe a brand new look.

First look at the shoe shows that the Red Flyknit upper is accompanied by the hits of Black and White woven into the predominantly Red upper. In addition to the Flyknit construction, there is also premium leather placed on the Nike Swoosh branding, heel and tongue. The also appears to be new graphics placed on the heel tab that show a two-headed snake, daggers, and an hour glass to represent father time. No release date on the shoe yet but you can expect these to drop sometime this Summer.

Author’s Take

I like it. The all-red look is clean and the new graphics are a nice touch to this version.

Author’s Take

I’m a fan of the model’s simplistic build and I’m pretty biased towards this tonal colorway. The only downside is the lack of large sizing since it’s only offered in GS for now.

I like the minimalist style of the profile. It’s a bit too tall/bulky for my taste, but it looks really nice in this colorway.

Gamma Blue Highlights This Nike Air Max BW Ultra

Nike Air Max BW Ultra 1 Nike Air Max BW Ultra Nike Air Max BW Ultra 2

The women’s Nike Air Max BW Ultra is introduced in another vibrant colorway for Spring 2016, following three recent offerings of orange, grey and royal blue a couple of months ago.

This time flaunting gamma blue, the vivid tone is essentially prominent on the upper portion of its mesh/synthetic profile, which also flows towards the collar section and tongue. To complement the shade, pristine white adorns the Swoosh branding across its side panels, encompassing the mudguard, throughout the sole unit and gracing the inner lining, as well as its laces.

Finished off with touches of black on the frontal and rear portion of its outsole, you can purchase this colorway at select Nike retailers overseas first.

Author’s Take

I’m a fan of the silhouette and I like the execution on this pair. While it’s offered for females, I think it’s still versatile for males as well, although, large sizing is limited.

A Detailed Look At The Nike Air Foamposite Pro Ben Gordon

Ben Gordon was a Nike loyalist throughout the numerous stops during his time in the NBA and even in his collegiate career where he was one of the best guards to roll through the historic UConn pantheon before declaring for the NBA Draft in 2004. So why is Nike Sportswear releasing an upcoming Nike Air Foamposite Pro nicknamed after Gordon, a guy who was never close to becoming a signature athlete? The Varsity Royal style of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Ben Gordon” is something you’d attribute closer to some sort of Orlando Magic alternate, but this is inspired by the pair given out to Gordon during his time in college. It’s not a direct retro of a Foamposite Pro from 2001 – that release featured a black outsole instead – but this is definitely an interesting mockup of a shoe that’s already seen its fair share of royal takedowns. This Foam is slated for a release on August 26th for $230 USD. Get with us after the break for a better view at this upcoming ‘PE’ release and let us know if you’re a fan of the look by taking your thoughts to the comments section.
