Nike Air Command Forces Inspired By The Nike Air Yeezy

If you hear anybody mention or talk about Yeezys these days they’re most likely referring to the adidas Yeezy Boost. It could be either the 350 or the 750, or any other upcoming Yeezy Boost.

But the term/name Yeezy really erupted when Kanye West was with Nike and he designed the Nike Air Yeezy and Nike Air Yeezy 2. All of the colorways that released from those two sneakers were so popular that you never stop seeing people create customs inspired by those colorways. Mache Customs recently took the “Net” colorway from the Nike Air Yeezy and placed it on the Nike Air Command Force. As you can see, the leather upper features a couple of different shades of tan while pink, white and black complete the look. For good measure Mache also added glow-in-the-dark accents.

What are your thoughts on this Nike Air Yeezy-inspired Air Command Force? Are you diggin’ the colorway? Let us know in the comments below.

Nike Air Presto Slip-On Releasing This Fall

Introducing the Nike Air Presto Slip-On. It was only a matter of time before the Swoosh remixed the Nike Presto to carry its own without the unique supportive cage overlay. The early 2000s retro has been transformed by Flyknit technology earlier this year, but here that breathable bolstered mesh construction is the perfect pairing with the traditional neoprene toe. And yes, the Presto has always technically been a slip-on model, but it’s made that much more obvious by the lack of laces. What do you think of the model? Check out an alternate colorway of the Nike Presto Slip-On below and stay tuned for a stateside release in Fall 2016.

Author’s Take

I like the colorway and construction overall, but the silhouette looks too bulky for my taste. It?s a solid offering though, and it should get some attention.

The Nike Mayfly is rendered in a simpler iteration for its latest offering this Spring/Summer 2016, aside from the recent resurgence of its woven counterpart.

Dressed in a pristine all-white finish, the minimalist-inclined model is composed of a lightweight and breathable open-mesh construction. The heavenly hue is continued throughout classic sole unit to finish off the profile. Furthermore, tonal leather overlays adhere the toe box and heel for more premium flair, while Swooshes across its side panels round out the design.

You can purchase this pair in either women’s or men’s sizes at select Nike accounts overseas now.

Author’s Take

I like the simplistic design overall and you can?t go wrong with this colorway. It?s sleek and stylish. The downside is to maintain clean profile.

Buddy Hield Signs With Nike

Nike Nike 1

Top NBA prospect, Buddy Heild, an All-American guard from Oklahoma who is projected to be the third pick of this year’s NBA Draft on June 23, has reportedly signed with Nike according to multiple sources.

Hield is a 22-year-old native of the Bahamas and averaged 25 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2 assists per game for his senior season. He was named Big 12 Player of the Year and won several other College Player of the Year accolades, including the coveted Wooden Award.

Details of the multi-year endorsement deal are scarce, although earlier this week, Nike also agreed to terms with the potential first pick — Ben Simmons.

A Preview Of The Upcoming Nike Zoom All Out Low

Nike Zoom All Out Low Nike Zoom All Out Low 1

With the new Nike Zoom All Out Flyknit already available in a few colorways, the silhouette is set to be introduced in a low-cut profile sometime this season.

Currently, the silhouette is defined by an extended mid-top sock-like collar, although this particular iteration subtracts that component. In addition, its flyknit composition has been replaced with engineered mesh as well to promote more breathability, while it rests atop a full-length Zoom sole unit.

Dipped in vibrant red, contrasting accents of violet blue are applied on the flywire system and outsole, as Black Swooshes on the side panels finishes it off.

Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for an official release date.

Author’s Take

I like the model in both its original and low-cut form. I’m a fan of the simple design and this colorway is appealing. I’m looking forward to more colorways.

Has there been any final performance in professional sports history like what Kobe Bryant put on display in April? To say he went out on a high note is an understatement. He displayed the killer instinct that many basketball fanatics say only a few players in NBA history possess, because despite being physically drained, he dropped sixty astounding points while leading the young Lakers to victory. This upcoming release pays tribute to Kobe’s riding off into the sunset while throwing a nod at the signature colors of the Los Angeles sky as the day approaches dusk. This exciting release hits Nike Basketball retailers this coming Saturday, so check out the official images ahead.

Liberty And Nike Return For A Summer 2016 Footwear Collection

London’s own Liberty has teamed up with Nike Sportswear a number of times over the past half-decade to bring us updated running silhouettes outfitted with unique floral textiles perfect for any season. This Summer 2016, Liberty and NSW are back at it with three new offerings ranging from the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra, the Nike Tennis Classic Ultra, and the Nike Roshe Cortez, each boasting their own premium finishes. A white base is accented by cartoonish spring floral designs on the Air Max 1, while a translucent volt outsole adds a splash of color to contrast the vachette tan leather tongue and lining. A translucent mudguard overlay and Swoosh adds a unique twist to the iconic runner too. A similar aesthetic can be found on the Tennis Classic, while the Roshe Cortez flips the script with a monochromatic tan upper, perforated branding, and floral lining. The collection will be available via Nike SNKRS on June 25th in a women’s exclusive size run. More photos below.

Did Nike Make Kristaps Porzingis His Own Logo

Kristaps Porzingis was one of the most surprising rookies to come out of the NBA Draft last year. The memes of crying Knicks kid were quickly reversed when the 7-foot Latvian proved he could hoop and then some. Kristaps rocked general release Kobes for much of last year, even coloring in the Swoosh with Sharpie to match his Knicks uniform at times. We doubt he’ll have to do that next season, as a new PE logo has surfaced possibly created by Nike. The interlocking KP6 logo is rather standard, but it could show that the Swoosh is expecting big things from the 6God. Stay tuned for more right here on Sneaker News.

The New Nike Flyknit Elite Is Built For The Golf Course

Nike Nike 1 Nike 2 Nike 3

Nike Golf introduces a new silhouette specifically catered for the golf course with this Flyknit Elite.

Developed via research and athlete testing, the model’s defining element consists of an all-new articulated integrated traction that decouples the medial heel and lateral forefoot area to help propel the athlete through the swing, and essentially facilitating better footwork.

Also allowing abetter balance while keeping the golfer lower to the ground, a unique TPU tread design offers continuous traction that replaces traditional spikes without sacrificing grip.

For this particular silhouette, the system is paired with a full-length Lunarlon midsole for responsive cushioning and a lightweight, breathable one-piece knitted upper that offer targeted support in key areas to help keep the foot locked down and stable.

Additionally, dynamic Flywire provides midfoot lockdown, a mid-height collar conforms to the athlete?s foot and a TPU skin for dew protection is applied on the upper?s edge.

You can purchase the model in two colorways — pure platinum/cool grey and black/clear jade — at select Nike retailers on Thursday, June 16.

via: NI

Author’s Take

I don’t golf often, but this new system seems promising. The design of the silhouette looks solid as well. If you’re an avid golfer, maybe you should give this a try.
