The Nike Air Uptempo Olympic Is Already Available In GS Sizes

NIKE AIR MORE UPTEMPO 1 NIKE AIR MORE UPTEMPO 2 NIKE AIR MORE UPTEMPO 3 NIKE AIR MORE UPTEMPO 4

The Nike Air Uptempo Olympic is not scheduled to release until July 4th (internationally), that means that the earliest we’re getting our hands on a pair is on July 4th or possibly later on here in the states. Surprisingly, GS sizes of the Nike Air Uptempo Olympic have now been spotted for sale way before the international release date.

This colorway of the Uptempo was Pippen’s shoe of choice while playing in the 1996 Olympics. The shoe’s most distinguished feature is the ‘AIR’ branding placed on the side panels. Midnight Navy with hits of Sport Red and White create the motif on the shoe. Do you fit into GS sizes? Head on over to Jimmy Jazz and pick up a pair today for $130.

it’s kind of hard to see the new materials with an all-black colorway so I’ll save my judgement until I see a pair with some more color on it.

Ben Simmons And The Future Of Nike Basketball

Newly signed Nike Basketball athlete Ben Simmons, who is likely to be select first overall in the upcoming NBA Draft, is currently on duty for the Swoosh as he and his fellow young brand-mates have come together to film an upcoming Foot Locker ad. This photo is rather significant as it features the core for Nike hoops, with names like Karl Anthony-Towns, D’Angelo Russell, and Devin Booker leading the way for the next generation. Towns, who just won a unanimous Rookie Of The Year award, is in the big-man category which typically doesn’t feature signature shoe deals, but potential certainly remains for Lakers swingman D’Angelo Russell and of course, Ben Simmons, one of the most hyped first-overall picks since LeBron James. Where do you see the future of Nike Basketball headed? Is it in good hands?

Even though I’m not a fan of the Foamposite, I like the combination of a Maroon upper and a gum outsole. Great job by Nike on these.

The Air Zoom Trout 3 features a ridged upper that also comes with a bootie-like collar that seems to be made out of neoprene for a snug fit. Other details include a supportive heel counter, Flywire for a locked down fit, and visible Zoom on the heel.

This Nike Air Zoom Trout 3 looks completely different in comparison to the Nike Lunar Trout and the Nike Lunar Trout 2, so you can see that Nike wanted to go in a different direction with this shoe. Author’s Take

Can’t say that I like baseball cleats since I haveno use for them, but I think the design on this Air Zoom Trout 3 is pretty clean. The placement of the Swoosh and the neoprene collar are a nice touch.

A new colorway of the classic/vintage Nike basketball sneaker is getting ready to release next week. While the colorway may not be as classic as the pair we say on Back To The Future, it’s still a dope and versatile offering. Coming in a Black and White aesthetic, let’s take a closer look at the Nike Bruin Black/White.

The shoe is constructed out of a Black leather upper. The tonal look of the base is contrasted by the hits of White placed on the leather Nike Swoosh, branding on the tongue and heel, and the sole unit. Said to be dropping internationally beginning June 21st, we will be sure to let you know when these arrive in the states.

Author’s Take

It may not be the best looking Nike sneaker, but no doubt it’s full of heritage and history. For that reason alone, I may have to pick up a pair.

Flyease Technology Makes Its Way To The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 33

For those of you who are’t too familiar with Nike’s Flyease technology, it basically allows disabled athletes who happen to have limited hand movement to slip on to a pair of sneakers with very little to no effort. We’ve seen Flyease versions of LeBron sneakers in the past, now we get to see on the Nike Pegasus 33. Let’s get a closer look at the Nike Flyease Pegasus 33.

The Nike Flyease Pegasus 33 comes with a zipper/strap on the heel. The asymmetrical lacing system uses a material similar to Dynamic Flywire to give the athlete a nice lockdown fit while one gets access to the shoe through the heel. This particular colorway comes in an all-Black makeup with White hits used as the accented colorway. Keep it locked to find out when Nike plans on releasing the shoe.

Author’s Take

The more Nike sneakers with Flyease technology, the better. I can dig it. It’s nice to see Nike to continue releasing sneakers like this.

The Nike Janoski Receives The Hyperfeel Upgrade

Nike has mastered the art of listening to their athletes and responding to their wants and needs in shoe form. Stefan Janoski asked for more board-feel and contact, which resulted in the top-sider style that has become of the brand’s most recognizable shoes over the last decade. They continue to remix it in ways that benefit the riders, and with the recent Hyperfeel takeover on the latest signature shoe wave, it was only a matter of time that the Janoski received the same treatment. The Nike SB Janoski Hyperfeel offers the same aesthetic, but with lighter, more breathable materials that allow Stefan and whoever has loyalty to the shoe even more benefits. Get this tonal-black colorway now at skateshops around the world like Premier.

The Nike Air More Uptempo Olympic Released Early In Kids Sizes

With the Rio Olympics a few months away, Nike Basketball is bringing back a number of iconic Dream Team era retros for the summer including the Nike Air More Uptempo “Olympic”. Scottie Pippen’s go-to model during the Atlanta Games was one of the boldest creations during that historic 1996 run, as the side panels shaped to form ‘AIR’ so there was no doubt in anyone’s mind what technology was featured on the footbed. A Midnight Navy base sees accents of Sport Red to form a patriotic theme while a gold ‘8’ is stitched on the heel in honor of Pippen’s Olympic number. What do you think of this Nike Air More Uptempo retro? Grade school sizes are available today via Jimmy Jazz for $130.

Nikes Flyease Construction Arrives On The Pegasus 33

Nike’s self-lacing patent found on the Nike Mags and the upcoming Nike Hyperadapt EARL not only carries shoes into the future with once fictitious technology, but it also serves a greater purpose: allowing disabled athletes with limited hand movement to slip into a pair of sneakers with relative ease. Until that self-lacing system becomes more widely accessible and cheaper to produce, Nike is focusing on the Flyease system made famous by Matthew Walzer, Tobie Hatfield, and LeBron James. The latest shoe to be transformed by the added zipper/strap on the heel is the Nike Flyease Pegasus 33. The running model features an asymmetrical lacing system that uses a material similar to Dynamic Flywire for a standard lockdown fit while one gets access to the shoe through the heel. What do you think of the Nike Zoom Pegasus 33 getting the Flyease makeover? Check out more detailed photos below and stay tuned for more release updates right here on Sneaker News.
