After getting a closer look at the LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 The Academy, we now set our sights on the same colorway of the Nike Kyrie 2.

Also designed exclusively for the Nike tournament, this colorway of the Kyrie 2 features a predominantly white upper with the same colorful graphic/print that we’ve seen before landing on the midfoot strap. Black detailing lands on the Nike and Kyrie branding while an icy blue outsole finishes off the look. This pair of Kyries will never make it to retailers but you might be able to pick it up for yourself if you look hard enough. This Psychedelic colorway of the SB Dunk High has the shoe come with an upper covered in graphics. The graphic heavy upper is done in a handful of different colors, and the end result is a rainbow like motif that makes you feel like you’re on some kind of drug you have no business with. Nike is giving the premium treatment to one of their most beloved Air Max models of all time. Dubbed a Pinnacle release of the shoe, let’s take a look at the official images of the Nike Air Max 1 Pinnacle White.

The first thing that caught my eye was the premium leathers used to construct the all-White upper of the Air Max 1. The branding on the heel and tongue come in embossed fashion. Additional branding can be seen on the translucent outsole and side panels. Other premium features include the leather tongue tag and cork insoles. A set of White laces and midsole round out the look of the shoe. Price at $160 and available now, who’s getting a pair?

A few weeks ago we saw special colorways of a handful of Nike Basketball sneakers as a part of the Nike Basketball The Academy tournament collection. While it’s pretty much impossible to get your hands on any of the shoes from the collection, where there’s a will there’s a way.

Here we take a closer look at the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 from the collection which comes mostly covered in a white mesh upper with a colorful print that can be seen on the toe and the LeBron branding on the middle strap. A black Swoosh logo and an icy blue outsole complete the look on the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 The Academy that can be probably be found at places like eBay or other third party sellers. Good luck finding a pair in your size if you’re on the hunt.

Nike Basketball is celebrating Team USA’s Olympic Gold Medal hopes with the upcoming Nike USA Gold Swoosh Pack, slated to arrive at retailers on August 22nd. Comprised of the Kyrie 2, the KD 9, and the LeBron Soldier 10, each silhouette gets a premium overhaul for this quickstrike release featuring Metallic Gold accents on the branding and eyelets in honor of Team USA’s quest for yet another Gold Medal at the international level.

Nike Basketball smartly gives each of these models either a red, white, or blue theme with the Nike KD 9’s premium Flyknit draped in an ominous Obsidian base. This particular color choice works beautifully when paired with a University Red lining, Metallic Gold branding, and an icy outsole to match Team USA’s road uniforms. The Nike Kyrie 2 is perhaps the boldest take of the trio thanks to a “Red October” like aesthetic that sees a premium mesh and fuse base drenched in University Red while Metallic Gold briefly interrupts the all-red-everything motif on the branding and eyelets. The Nike LeBron Soldier 10 stands out thanks to gold speckling throughout a clean white base while icy bottom adds the perfect finish to the understated offering. Interestingly enough, the KD 9 and LeBron Soldier 10 each feature bold ‘USA’ callouts while the Kyrie 2 is absent of any American abbreviation.

As of today, Team USA is 5-0 during the Rio Olympics competition, although the past couple of games have been incredibly close raising questions of whether the red, white, and blue will be able to win yet another Gold Medal. Do you think Team USA will be able to bring home the gold?

It looks like the soccer-inspired “Mambacurial” colorway concept is coming back once again to the Kobe Bryant’s Nike line. The Kobe 11 is receiving the soccer boot look, and we get our first early preview of the shoe today. The latest Kobe signature shoe features its Flyknit upper with black toes that fade into bright blue on the lateral side and red on the medial side with yellow Swooshes. They’re completed with gum rubber outsoles, which seem to indicate that this “Mambacurial” colorway is influenced by indoor soccer shoes instead of the cleat inspiration for Mambacurials of the past. With a light bone variation releasing at the end of this month, the Nike Kyrie 2 is introduced in a brand new colorway of hot lava, which is expected to debut later this Fall.

Flaunting a predominantly blacked-out composition, the defining hue is implemented across the mid-foot strap and midsole unit via speckling, while it can also be seen on the distinctive logo on its tongue tab. The stealthy, yet bold design is also further pronounced with a contrasting white Swoosh located across its heel unit.

It’s been close to two years since the last time we wrote about the Nike Air Trainer Max ’91 here at Kicks on Fire. So I guess technically, the shoe is making a comeback, right? After a small hiatus, Nike has decided to bring back this classic model from the ’90s beginning in the timeless White and Black colorway.

Releasing this Fall season, the shoe rocks a new colorway that has it come in a predominantly White upper offset by the hits of Black and Grey noted throughout. Constructed out of leather and a little bit of mesh, the shoe also comes with a Light Grey outsole, White laces and perforations on the toe.
