Look For The Nike Hyperdunk 2008 United We Rise Later This Month
By SoleInsider
The original Nike Hyperdunk 2008 United We Rise is set to make a return this summer to celebrate the forthcoming 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as official imagery of the classic basketball sneaker are now revealed.
Initially seen in 2008 which was worn by Kobe Bryant and Team USA during the Beijing Olympics, the silhouette essentially stays true to its original counterpart with a patriotic vibe.
With white consisting as its dominant hue, the upper also bears a reflective graphic for a premium touch, while the flywire-reinforced side panels emit a slight purplish sheen for a complementing contrast. Hits of navy adorn the laces, heel and midsole, while touches of red outlining the Swooshes round out the respective theme.
Retailing for $160, expect to find this pair at select Nike retailers on July 23.
In less than an hour the NBA free agency period officially gets underway and players can (verbally) agree to terms with an NBA team and then sign next week (July 8th). Kevin Durant is the biggest fish out on the lake as he’ll have to decide between staying in OKC or playing for another team for the first time in his career. Warriors? Spurs? Celtics? Clippers? Heat? We’ll have to wait and find out. Personally I hope he stays with the Thunder cause I know there’s no chance he can sign with my Raptors at this point. Haha.
What we do know for certain is that KD will be playing for Team USA in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. He is the clear cut leader of the team and he’ll hope to bring the gold home with him. What sneakers will he be wearing? Well the all-new Nike KD 9 of course. Tomorrow we’ll see this patriotic KD 9 arrive at retailers that features a white Flyknit upper with complementing accents done in University Red and Royal Blue.
Retailing for $150, is the Nike KD 9 Premiere/USA a pass or cop for you tomorrow?
I love the new Flyknit upper on the KD 9 but I’m not too excited about this colorway. I look forward to seeing future colorways and hopefully I’ll pick up a pair.

By SoleInsider
Nike has taken three popular Nike SB models and given them some soccer inspiration. This isn’t anything new as Nike has been known to do this in the past.
The Swoosh has taken the Nike SB P-Rod 9 Elite, Nike SB Stefan Janoski, and the Nike SB Eric Koston and given them new leather uppers with quilted and perforated detailing. The pack which is known as the SBxFB collection is scheduled to release via Nike SNKRS on July 6 at 10 a.m. EST.
Are you interested in picking up any of these next week?

Author’s Take
I’m not a huge fan of any of these silhouettes but it’s definitely cool to see Nike give each silhouette a new look. Each show now has more of a lifestyle look to it.

Vachetta Tan Leather Covers The Nike Air Trainer 2
By SoleInsider
The Vachetta Tan “trend” has slowed down considerably after seeing lots of sneakers dressed up in the luxurious colorway over the last year or so. Attempting to bring back the trend is the Nike Air Trainer 2.
Signature sneaker of all-time sports great Bo Jackson, this new colorway of the Nike Air Trainer 2 ditches the “athletic” look and instead goes for some lifestyle appeal by being covered in a beautiful Vachetta Tan leather upper with mesh detailing on the side panels. A white sole unit then wraps things up along with white laces and orange branding.
You can purchase a pair now from select Nike retailers for $110.

If you happen to have liked the official images of the Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Low USA that we showed you earlier today then now we treat you to another detailed look.
Expected to be worn by a handful of players from the 2016 U.S. Men’s Basketball team this Summer, the Nike Hyperdunk 2016 will be available in both High and Low top versions. Here we take a closer look at the Low which features a white upper with Dark Obsidian and Bright Crimson accents that help complete the USA theme.
Take a look at the latest images above and look for the Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Low USA to arrive at select retailers beginning on July 5th.
Even though the high-top version may be better suited for on-court use, I like the way the Low looks better. This USA colorway is pretty fresh as well.

Our First Look At The Nike SB Stefan Janoski Hyperfeel
By SoleInsider
The Nike SB Stefan Janoski has become a classic in the short amount of years that it has existed. Although the OG Janoski isn’t considered a classic when it comes to the amount of time it has existed, Nike continues to find ways to improve the shoe. Their latest venture has them create the Nike SB Stefan Janoski Hyperfeel.
The Nike SB Stefan Janoski Hyperfeel is a newer version of the model that improves the skater’s boardfeel. Adding a Hyperfeel sole to the shoe does just that. Other new features placed on the shoe include the gusseted tongue, drop-in Lunarlon midsole and thin web rubber cupsole. So not only does the shoe perform better, it also feels better. Available now, pick up this and four other colorways for the retail price of $100 each.
Have You Picked Up The Nike Sock Dart Triple Black Yet

What is perhaps the most versatile colorway of the Nike Sock Dart is now available at stateside retailers.
Having shown you the official images of this colorway earlier this week, the Nike Sock Dart Triple Black continues to arrive at more and more retailers. As the name suggests, this Sock Dart is covered in black from head to toe including the nitted upper, midfoot strap, midsole, and outsole.
Fans of the Nike Sock Dart definitely don’t wanna miss out on this colorway, so if you want to get your hands on a pair don’t sleep. Retail price is $130.
If I already had a few pairs of the Nike Sock Dart I would have considered grabbing this colorway, but since I don’t have any yet I’m still waiting on one that leaves me in awe.
Kevin Durants Nike KD 9 For the 2016 Olympics Can Be Yours Tomorrow
By SoleInsider
Kevin Durant will lace up his latest signature shoe in this patriotic colorway as the leader of Team USA for the Rio games this summer, but luckily for the rest of us, you don’t have to be an Olympic-level basketball player to get a pair. The Nike KD 9 “Premiere” featuring a white Flyknit upper with red and blue accents launched on June 25th with a limited release in New york City via Foot Locker, but now the clean colorway arrives for everyone tomorrow at select Nike Basketball retailers across the nation. At only $150, you won’t want to hesitate to grab a pair because they might not last long.
If the Think Pink and Black colorways of the new Nike Zoom Hypershift weren’t enough for you, we now take a look at a patriotic colorway of the new Nike Basketball silhouette.
This colorway of the Nike Zoom Hypershift features the traditional Olympic color scheme of red (sorta), white and blue. White dominates the upper of this Zoom Hypershift while blue can be seen on the neoprene tongue, inner liner, laces, pull tabs and the outsole. Lastly we have punches of bright crimson appearing on the branding, and the Flywire on the side panels and heel.
What are your thoughts on the new Nike Zoom Hypershift? Are you a fan of this patriotic colorway? Look for the shoe to release early next month.
Another Look At The Nike Hyperdunk 2008 Photo Blue
By SoleInsider
With a detailed look at the Volt and Solar Red colorways already provided, we now give you some up-close images of the Nike Hyperdunk 2008 in the Photo Blue colorway.
Making its return for the first time since its debut back during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, the classic Nike Basketball silhouette will return in a few different colorways this Summer including this Photo Blue pair that has been covered in a bright and vibrant blue all over. What are your thoughts on the three highlighter colorways that we’ve seen? Are you looking forward to picking up any of them? Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for release updates.
The Hyperdunk 2008 silhouette is “ok” in my opinion, but definitely not in these bright highlighter colorways. I prefer something that you can rock on the daily.
Top 10 Kicks To Watch For In July: adidas NMD, Air Jordan 12 OVO, Nike Sportswear USA Retros
By SoleInsider
During a Summer Olympic year, sneaker brands tend to just leave everything else at home as waves of patriotism take over. As you might expect since they are the outfitter of the US Olympic Team, Nike and Nike Sportswear will be releasing plenty of Team USA gear between now and when the games begin, and that includes a number of historically significant kicks that tend to pop up every four years or so, ready for the re-up. Between the return of the Nike Air More Uptempo and the Nike Air Force 180 along with new colorways of the Nike Air Foamposite One and red, white, blue and gold variations of the Nike Air Ultra Flyknit, we’ll be looking good as we cheer on our country to victory.
As we get into the thick of the summer months, adidas will be finally be bringing the shoe that we think could be the shoe of the season with the (almost) all-white NMD, Jordan Brand has a handful of retros you might be interested in and Reebok Classics will be releasing some sleepers you might want to keep your eyes on.
As always, all sneaker release dates and prices are subject to change.
Air Jordan 14 Oxidized Green
Solefly
Release Date: July 16 Price: $190
The Air Jordan 14 is like the forgotten member of the OG family as sneakerheads often cut their Jordan retro collections at 13. But MJ did wear the Air Jordan 14 during his final days as a Chicago Bull and while he wasn’t there for the subsequent wider release of the shoe during the lockout 1998-99 NBA season, the 14s had a number of great colorways in the preceding years including this Oxidized Green colorway that will be making its return this month. It’s still OG to me, dammit…
Kendrick Lamar x Reebok Classic Leather
Reebok
Release Date: July 1 Price: $110
While the rest of the world waits with bated breath for whatever Kanye and Drake will do next with their resepctive sneaker collabs, King Kendrick and Reebok are quietly amassing quite the sneaker legacy that serve to not only get the people excited but also spread a message of unity, as symbolized by the red and blue colors that represent the Bloods and Crips gangs. The Reebok branding that’s all but hollowed out except for the “K” is a great touch.
Air Jordan 12 Gym Red (Alternate)
Release Date: July 2 Price: $190
The Air Jordan 12 Alternate serves as a reminder for what could have been for MJ had Nike really started pushing player exclusives back in the days. What makes this release interesting is that it could go either way in terms of being an immediate sellout or a pair that sits in stores. The glut of Air Jordan 12 releases this year could force this back to the middle of the pack, especially since it’s dropping on the same month as the much-anticipated OVO 12s (more on that later).
Reebok Question Only The Strong Survive
Reebok
Release Date: July 1 Price: $140
Allen Iverson has lived by the motto “Only The Strong Survive” for much of his life that some people might even attribute that ideology with AI. To see where he came from and to reach the heights that he achieved – perfect or not – is something to be admired and Reebok has rewarded his strength and loyalty for the past 20 years with 2016’s 20 Questions Pack that continues with this latest colorway.
adidas Ultra Boost Multicolor 2.0
sneakerprophet_
Release Date: July 27 Price: $180
Yeah, it’s no Flyknit Racer Multicolor for sure, but the Boost more than makes up for it.
Air Jordan 5 Retro 90 Black/Metallic Silver
Release Date: July 23 Price: $220
Look, if bootleg kinda fat Spider-Man approves of this release, who are we to judge? The $220 price still sucks, though, especially since it’s just a “Nike Air” premium. If you’re still not sure be sure to check out our Air Jordan 5 OG ’90 Black/Metallic launch page for all the latest on this drop.
Nike KD 9 Premiere
Nike
Release Date: July 1 Price: $190
The Nike KD 9 is shaping up to be KD’s big sneaker comeback after a lackluster season with the Nike KD 8. With a lower price point and an appealing Flyknit upper that opens it up to a multitude of possibilities, this could be the breakout hit we’ve been waiting for since the KD 6. But as the Preheat colorway and this Premiere releases proves, Nike likes to keep things simple for now and then hit us hard with the themed colorway that are sure to get the sneakerheads talking.
Air Jordan 12 OVO White
Release Date: July 30 Price: ?
It’s an Air Jordan 12 in white and gold. I’m at the mercy of this thing, regardless of my own feelings regarding Drake as a rapper. This is what I call a makeup for missing out on the Air Jordan 12 Wings.
adidas NMD OG Vintage White
Release Date: July 15 Price: $170
As we mentioned earlier, this is the likely shoe of the summer as everybody is going to want to cop a pair of these beauties. With the luxurious Vintage White priemknit upper, this adidas NMD are the perfect kicks to rock to your many all-white parties. The only problem is that they’ll be so tough to cop with everybody lining up to grab them that you’ll only see them on a few lucky sneakerheads and the rest will be on eBay and Kixiry.
