ACG Vibes On The Nike Air Huarache SE

After its campfire variation, the popular Nike Air Huarache receives another update to close out summer, this time draped in classic Nike ACG aesthetic.

Defined by a bold color blocking theme, the model flaunts bright pops of pink blast with grey for its neoprene bootie construction, alongside hits of yellow utilized for its signature elastic band on the rear. The distinctive heel cage system bears a lighter hue of grey, while white covers the remainder of the upper, which includes the mesh toe box, laces and leather overlays.

All adhered atop a speckled grey rubber sole unit to perfectly coordinate with its respective palette, you can purchase this pair at select Nike retailers overseas now, while a stateside release is imminent.

This model will never get old in my opinion. It’s always a solid option to purchase. This colorway is another great example.

The ACRONYM x Nike Presto Mid Is Releasing Tomorrow In Berlin

First previewed all the way back in May, the latest collaboration from ACRONYM and NikeLab is finally ready to drop. As we get a detailed look at the ACRONYM x NikeLab Air Presto today in the vibrant Hot Lava/Volt colorway, we also learn that the shoe will be available exclusively in Berlin, Germany tomorrow, September 8th. As you can see, the Air Presto by Errolson Hugh of ACRONYM is built atop the model’s original sole, but the upper is anything but traditional, as it features a mid-top height with the label’s signature aesthetic of added zippers and bold color blocking much like the previous Lunar Force 1 collab.

The ACRONYM x NikeLab Air Presto drops in Berlin tomorrow (Address: Bergstrasse 77, Berlin, Germany 10115), but there is no word yet on a wider release.

Nike Kyrie 2 Speckle Pack Releasing In October

The Nike Kyrie 2 gets speckled this fall with two coinciding colorways with a spray of paint across the strap and midsole. While we continue to wait for any word on when the Kyrie 3 will drop, the Kyrie 2 campaign continues strongly into the fall months with great new looks like this, in a duo of splattered colorways in grey with blue accents and black with Bright Crimson accents. Nike has given the Nike Air Pegasus 83 the premium look as we approach the Fall with this new Night Maroon colorway.

This classic runner from the Swoosh comes dressed in a combination of premium suede and leather throughout the entire upper which has been colored in the burgundy hue. Tan provides some contrast as it has been placed on the heel tab. Capping things off are a white midsole and rubber gum outsole for that lifestyle flair.

Maroon/burgundy sneakers are something that I love, but I just wish there was a little more contrast on this shoe. Maybe if the Swoosh was also done in tan it would have looked better.

The Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 Kay Yow Releases Next Week

Previously expected to release earlier this Summer, we’re now here to report to you the new release date for the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 Kay Yow.

This vibrant iteration of the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 features a complete pink mesh upper with contrasting white and black accents visible on the branding and midsole. The upper strap and pull tabs are a darker shade of pink in comparison to the rest of the shoe. Finishing off the look are Kay Yow logos on the tongue and heel pull tabs, as well as on the outsole.

The new release date for this pink LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 is scheduled for September 15th and will retail for $140.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Star Blue Is Out Now

Has there been a better retro this Summer 2016 season than the return of the Nike Zoom Spiridon? The 1997 cult-classic running model finally returned to retailers in all of its OG glory and even was revamped thanks to NikeLab’s patriotic colorway. There are even rumors of a potential Stash collaboration in the works. The premium Nike Spiridon look pairs aesthetic pairs a Metallic Gold mirror-like Swoosh branding on the side panels with an underlying matching mesh accent while a black mudguard contrasts. Two more tonal variations of the premium NikeLab Air Force 1 Mid will be offered as part of the brand’s Fall 2016 lineup, as the next colorways consists of night maroon and concord.

Essentially covering the sneaker’s leather upper, signature ankle strap and inner lining in the defining palette, the tonal base is nicely complemented by a clean white phylon midsole unit and translucent outsole that reveals the Swoosh branding.

Fun With NIKEiD UAAP Season 79 Edition: Team Colorways For All 8 Schools

This past weekend, UAAP Season 79 kicked off and it’s a new era for the country’s most well-known college basketball tournament. After a five-year stretch that many would argue was among the best the college scene had ever seen, there are many new faces taking on the legacy that the likes of Kiefer Ravena and Bobby Ray Parks. And in a hoops crazed country like the Philippines (there are books about our passion for the game), everybody is eager to see who will step up and be the next stars. Personally, I’m partial to some twins from Ateneo, but whatever…

As you might expect from a country that loves hoops, the Philippines also loves their sneakers. It might not be the same frenzy as it here in the US, but there is a vibrant and thriving sneaker culture in the Philippines that compares favorably to the rest of the world. Why else would Kobe Bryant swear by the motherland and Nike Basketball would released exclusives there first? So in honor of UAAP Season 79 and because I needed something for Fun With NIKEiD today, here are team-specific colorways of their current signature shoes the Nike KD 9, Nike Kyrie 2, Nike Kobe 11 Elite and Nike LeBron Soldier 10 (we didn’t use the LeBron 13 because honestly no one cares and the Zoom Soldier 10 has overshadowed it in every way) for all eight teams.
