Author’s Take

I’m a fan of the silhouette overall and this colorway is simple, but, still appealing. I’m biased, but it’s a really nice offering.

Take A Look At This New Muticolor Nike Kobe 11

A new colorway of the Nike Kobe 11 has just surfaced that has some similarities to the Parade colorways of the Kyrie 2 and LeBron 13 Low.

This Kobe 11 comes equipped with an engineered mesh upper that’s done in a variety of colors. The inner liner also has the same print/graphic while the Swoosh, midsole and fuse mudguard have been done in black. It’s still unclear what the theme/inspiration is behind this colorway of the Kobe 11 but there’s a possibility that it could be some type of Olympic/Brazil backstory to it. No release date has been announced yet but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for more.

Author’s Take

Not really feeling the watercolor-like look on this pair of Kobe 11s. These are a pass for me.

Author’s Take

The quality on this Air Jordan 5 doesn?t even look all that great so I don?t think that $220 price tag is justifiable. I?ve always wanted this colorway of the Air Jordan 5, but I?ll have to pass on these.

Ken Griffey Jr. will officially be inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame this upcoming weekend and Nike will be celebrating by releasing a special colorway of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1.

Known as the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 InductKid, not only does this all-white pair of Griffeys celebrate The Kid’s Hall of Fame induction, but it’s also another release that commemorates the 20th anniversary of the silhouette. This Griffey Max 1 features a an all-white leather upper with perforations that can be seen throughout. The only hits of color come on the Swoosh branding on the tongue and heel which have been done in bronze to reference the statue/hardware he’ll receive at the hall of fame.

You can look for the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 InductKid at select Nike retailers on July 23, 2016 for $150.

Author’s Take

Being that this is a reference to Ken Griffey Jr.’s hall of fame induction, I think Nike could have done a much better and creative job with these. There’s nothing really memorable about an all-white sneaker.
