The Nike Air Tech Challenge IV OG Is Releasing In New Colorways
By SoleInsider
Andre Agassi’s brazen Nike signature series is one of the most eclectic in the Swoosh catalog. It perfectly encapsulated Agassi’s bold style both on and off the tennis court and personified the 90s with splashes of loud graphics and equally vibrant colors throughout. The Nike Air Tech Challenge IV returned a few years back in low-top form but wasn’t enough to satisfy the true and through Agassi fanatics out there. Luckily, the ATC IV is back in original form and now is releasing a few new colorways like this White/Grey pair. Splashes of pink and orange add a vintage feel while that iconic tennis ball graphic hits the tongue patch to coincide with ‘Nike Air’ branding on the graphic-heavy heel panel. What do you think of this Agassi retro? Check out more photos of the new colorway below and stay tuned for a release later this summer.
The Nike Dunk High Goes Completely Seamless With The CRFT
By SoleInsider
The Nike Dunk evolves once again with this latest new remodel dubbed the Dunk High CRFT. The classic silhouette gets crafted with a seamless one-piece upper in premium leather with a unique molded upper similar to previous Vac-Tech constructions from Nike Sportswear. The remodel doesn’t end with the upper, as the sole gets a new lightweight ‘Ultra’ tooling constructed with foam and minimal rubber. Get your first look here at the Dunk High CRFT in a tan leather upper, and anticipate them to hit Nike Sportswear retailers soon.
The Nike Air Max Zero is back in a new White/Grey women’s exclusive colorway. One of Tinker Hatfield’s earliest sketches featuring that patented visible air unit, Nike Sportswear brought the abandoned design to life in honor of the Air Max Day festivities a few years back. Since then we’ve seen a few colorways release here and there as well as NIKEiD availability, but we’d love to see more options. This women’s exclusive is headed to retailers in the near future and features a clean white upper, accents of Wolf Grey, and an outlined Swoosh in black to match the air max unit on the outsole. There’s no word yet on a release date, but check out more detailed photos below.
The Nike Air More Uptempo White Gum Is Available Now
By SoleInsider
In addition to the classic Olympic colorway, the Nike Air More Uptempo in white/gum has also released, as official imagery of the silhouette is now unveiled.
As suggested, the iconic basketball sneaker that Scottie Pippen infamously wore is essentially dipped in the pristine hue throughout its premium leather upper. The sneaker?s defining aesthetic consists of an enlarged ?AIR? embroidery that is prominent on the side panels. To increase ventilation, miniature perforations are applied in between the letters, while a versatile gum outsole complements and finishes off the appealing colorway overall.
Priced at $160, the SNKRS app had it listed for availability starting today, and although it’s now sold out, you can find it at more Nike retailers nationwide.
I?ve always been a fan of this model since I saw it years ago. I owned the black/white pair back then, but, I?m all for this pair as well. The colorway is too nice.
More official imagery of the forthcoming Nike Metcon 2 Metcon Knows is revealed, as this latest variation of the versatile trainer commemorates the 1987 groundbreaking Nike Air Trainer 1 and its classic Chlorophyll colorway.
Simply dressed in the understated palette consisting of white/black/grey and chlorophyll, the low-top is comprised of premium white leather with light grey-colored suede paneling that graces the toe cap, sides and heel section for lifestyle appeal. The defining chlorophyll accents are prominent on the flywire system, tongue branding, heel and outsole.
Retailing for $150, you can purchase this pair at select Nike retailers starting Friday, July 22nd.
For the gym I usually wear bball/runners and I’ve always been contemplating on purchasing a pair that’s suitable for intense training. This pair looks like a solid option and I’m a fan of the colorway as well.
New Styles Of The Nike Free Inneva Woven Are Here For Summer
By SoleInsider
The Nike Free Inneva Woven is back for Summer 2016. The sequel never made the lasting impression that the original did, possibly due to the leather overlay taking up half of the woven upper’s shine. Luckily, the OG is back and ready for action with this simple Black and Summit White colorway showcasing a high contrast theme to the interlocking woven construction. A high-quality leather lands on the heel and tongue while a Nike Free 5.0 outsole brings responsive cushioning and a natural range of motion for an extra comfortable ride. What do you think of this colorway? Check out more photos below and expect this lifestyle Nike creation to hit NikeLab retailers later this summer.
It’s hard to believe that the Nike Air Foamposite One released back in 1997. Next year will mark the 20th anniversary of the shoe, so you know very well that Nike is going to release special versions of the shoe to commemorate the 20 years. One way Nike looks to celebrate the models anniversary is by once again releasing the Nike Air Foamposite One Royal.
The Nike Air Foamposite One Royal is one of the OG colorways on the Penny model. It’s only right that Nike re-releases it to celebrate its 20th. A Royal posite upper is paired up with hits of Black placed on the eyestay, tongue, heel, lining and laces. Carbon fiber fiber and a translucent motif is placed on the sole region. The shoe is said to be dropping March of 2017.

Author’s Take
Juan Carrillo, News: It’s good to see this classic colorway make a return. Not a fan of the posite look, but fans of the model are sure to have a grin on their face after reading this news.

Europe Is The Next Stop For Kobe Bryant And Nike Basketball
By SoleInsider
The Black Mamba may have called it quits from the NBA a few months ago, but it looks like he just can’t stay away from the game. After traveling to the Philippines with Nike last month, Kobe Bryant will now be packing his bags once again to travel the world with the Swoosh once again.
This time the basketball legend will be headed to Europe for a quick tour that includes stops in Amsterdam, Milan, and Paris.

There wasn’t any other information provided as far as the reason why Kobe would be going to Europe, but you can follow the Nike Basketball Snapchat account to keep up with all the happenings.
Nike created an instant hit earlier this year when they decided to place a Flyknit upper on the classic Nike Air Presto and as a result creatied the new Ultra Flyknit version that we see above. The colorway that we see here features volt all throughout the Flyknit upper with black accents appearing on the underlay, collar, toe, laces, ankle cage, branding, and the outsole. A white midsole has been added to provide a bit more contrast. If you’d like to turn some heads this Summer you’ll be able to grab a pair in the near future.
I’ve always that volt is just too bright if a color, but the way it’s combined with black on this Air Presto Ultra Flyknit looks really good. I definitely wouldn’t mine rocking these.
Official Images And Release Date For The Nike Kobe 11 3D
By SoleInsider
The NBA season may have ended a month ago, but the new colorways of the Nike Kobe 11 continue to release.
Set to release next week is the new iteration that you see above which has been dubbed the 3D colorway. Taking inspiration from the Kobe 6 3D colorway, this new Kobe 11 features a crazy graphic upper that makes it seem like you’re looking at the shoe through some 3D glasses. The shoes features a combination of Cool Grey with Total Crimson, Chlorine Blue, and Black. A clear translucent outsole wraps things up on the Kobe 11 3D that will release on July 27, 2016 for $160. Will you cop? Let us know in the comments below.
Official Images Of The Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Ying Yang
By SoleInsider
Ying Yang describes how opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. Now that I’ve provided the definition of Ying Yang, let’s take a look at the official images of the Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Ying Yang.
This two-pair pack consists of two colorways of the traditional version of the Nike Hyperdunk 2016. The shoe comes in Black and White and White and Black . This “Ying Yang” duo comes in subtle colorways in order for the design to be the center of attention. It may be simple in color scheme, but it manages to work. Focal features on the shoe include the zig-zagging heel pattern, the thick midsole with branding on it, theDynamic Flywire, and the high-top construction. Black and White or White and Black? What’s it going to be? Stay tuned as more info of this release begins to surface.
As we near the thirtieth anniversary of the Tinker-designed Air Max 1 running shoe, Nike has taken the time to explore the evolution of this famous model – the first sneaker with visible Nike Air technology. Six distinct installments of the shoes have shown that the evolution is geared toward lightweight and breathability while keeping the soul of the shoes intact, and thus far, Nike has achieved what they’ve set out to accomplish. Soon enough, the next chapter of Air Max 1 will debut (likely the Ultra SE or the Flyknit that has been leaked out earlier), and of course, 2017 is when things will get interesting given the incredible 30-year milestone. Take a walk through Air Max 1 history below.
New Release Date For The Nike Air Trainer SC High 1996 Olympics
By SoleInsider
Previously expected to release tomorrow, Nike has now pushed back the release date for the Nike Air Trainer SC High 1996 Olympics. The new release date according to Nike SNKRS has been set for August 5th, which is in about two weeks.
This Air Trainer SC High draws inspiration from the 96 Olympic games that took place in Atlanta, Georgia and uses the same colors that were used on the official logo of the 96 Olympic games.
Do you plan on picking up a pair next month or will these be a pass for you?
United The Swoosh Rises: Top 10 Team USA Basketball Sneakers (Spoiler: Theyre Almost All Nikes)
By SoleInsider
It’s a tradition as timeless as the Summer Olympics themselves. Every four years, sports media and sneakerheads freak out over the latest Team USA Basketball group photos and how Nike has allegedly arranged the players to line up in ways that make sure rival brands are barely visible or not at all. In the latest controversy, adidas athletes Harrison Barnes and Kyle Lowry and ANTA’s Klay Thompson are all conveniently positioned in the back to make sure their sneakers are not the easiest thing to make out especially on a phone’s tiny screen.
Team USA Basketball
From Coach K covering up Dwight Howard’s adidas’ kicks in 2008 to Kevin Love apparently not having feet in 2012, it really does look like Nike is up to some shenanigans when it comes to these team photos. It makes sense from a certain perspective, of course, since Nike is the official Team USA outfitter and thus doesn’t want competition getting in the way. But despite the accusations of pettiness on the part of the swoosh, they kind of have every right to brag because they quite simply make the best Team USA sneakers. How do we know? Because we just tried to rank them and every time Nike/Jordan would always come out with almost a clean sweep. It’s hard to think of a non-Nike Team USA shoe that could realistically crack our Top 10 because since the original Dream Team, each squad has been dominated by Nike athletes. Maybe if Stephen Curry and James Harden were on Team USA to balance things out it would be a different story in 2016 but for now, the red, white, blue and the swoosh dominate.
Nike LeBron 10 (2012)
Nike
Sadly, LeBron James never wore this particular Gold Medal version of the Nike LeBron 10 in London, opting instead to wear the safer USA colorway throughout the games. Known mostly for being exorbitantly priced because it had Nike+ (remember that thing?) functionality, the LeBron 10 would go on to be one of James’ most successful signature sneakers, as they on James’ feet en route to winning both Olympic Gold and the NBA Championship a year later.
Nike Zoom Flight 96 Olympics (1996)
Nike
In the Summer of 1996, the Shaquille O’Neal-Penny Hardaway feud that tore up the budding Orlando Magic dynasty came to a dramatic conclusion when it was announced during the first day of the Olympics that Shaq had signed a mammoth deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. It overshadowed just about everything Dream Team 3 accomplished in Atlanta that year and it definitely outshadowed my favorite pair of kicks during that run, Penny’s Nike Zoom Flight 96. It would take me twenty years to finally score a pair and it was worth every uh, penny…
Air Jordan 6 Olympics (2000)
Worn by Ray Allen and the immortal Vin Baker, this special colorway of the Air Jordan 6 was a limited edition back in 2000 and it had plenty of sneakerheads scrambling for a pair when they dropped. It took a long time for Jordan Brand to finally bring them back, but the wait was well worth it as a new generation also got to enjoy the kicks and get hundreds of Instagram likes because hypebeasts appreciate their history.
Nike Shox BB4 (2000)
Boing in GIF form…
Reebok Question 2 Olympics (2004)
Nobody conducted himself better [than Iverson], nor behaved like a better representative of this basketball team than he did in the games. Maybe everyone believed Iverson needed to bring back a gold medal to use the Olympics to rehabilitate his image. They were wrong. There was far more virtue in defeat than victory here. America found out much more about Iverson without him winning the gold, than it ever would’ve with him winning it.
That’s a quote from Adrian Wojnarowski, dropping one of his many famous Woj Bombs. The 2004 edition of Team USA was probably the lowest point basketball-wise for our country not because it was the worst team we ever put out there (and it was pretty bad since Richard Jefferson was prominently involved and coach Larry Brown blamed everybody but himself for the debacle) but because we looked so helpless en route to a bronze medal. But what shouldn’t be forgotten was how well Allen Iverson not only played but how he conducted himself as an ambassador for our country, gracious even in defeat. By the same token, we probably don’t want to remember the Reebok Question 2 “Olympics” because it was a far cry from the original classic, but we shouldn’t shove it aside like it never happened because we got to see a different side of Allen Iverson while wearing that shoe. That’s worth something to me and it should be worth something to every basketball fan out there…
(Tie) Nike Air Ballistic Force and Nike Air Flight Lite II (1992)
Still waiting on that retro, Nike Sportswear. Proof positive that any brand can make any shoe a classic with the right color blocking. Something about the red, white and blue with gold accents just screams “awesome” when slapped on a shoe and when David Robinson and John Stockton wore the Ballistic Force and Scottie Pippen and Chris Mullin wore the Flight Lite II in Barcelona, they were things of beauty. Without those colors, they’re just another pair of kicks that time forgets…
Air Jordan 7 Olympics (1992)
If Michael Jordan didn’t realize how much of a big deal he was to the world, he certainly found out while he was in Barcelona as he and his Dream Team teammates were treated like rock stars throughout their entire stay. The Air Jordan 7 Olympics is almost certainly the best colorway of the 7 to ever come out but something about it could have been better. Oh yeah, the silver overlay. But what if it was…

Yeah, that would have taken the top spot or at the very least#2.
Nike Hyperdunk United We Rise (2008)
Nike
Holy hell, how embarrassing and earth-shattering would it have been if a Team USA that was filled with LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard, Deron Williams, Chris Paul and Jason Kidd were to lose to Spain in the gold medal game? But it was none other than the Black Mamba who bailed them all out with a performance for the ages and basically answered the question of who was the alpha dog of Team USA when s**t hit the fan. Not a bad way to showcase the Hyperdunk all things considered…
Charles Barkley was the best player on the best team ever assembled. Yeah, Jordan could have been the best if he gave half a damn and wasn’t playing golf half the time in Barcelona, but Chuck took the title and ran with it while becoming a global icon in the process. His affable personality and cavalier attitude made him the champion of the people long before The Rock turned that into one of his many catchphrases. Not only that, Barkley parlayed his great run in the Olympics into a memorable 1992-93 NBA season where he won the NBA MVP and nearly won a championship as well. So what stopped him? A Jordan that gave more than half a damn, of course…
This also reminds me of a story that just makes me shrug my shoulders every time I think about it. Back in 2012, Nike Sportswear was dropping the Olympic retro pack including Nike Air Force 180 on the same weekend Jordan was dropping legendary Air Jordan 6 “Olympics” as well. I made a trip to the local House of Hoops right before it was about to open because I feared that I would miss out on a pair of 180s. When I got there, the line for the store stretched out quite a bit but nearly 90% of them were gunning for the Jordan 6. Knowing I wouldn’t have to line up to get my Barkleys, I just sat it out and watched the people file in get their Jordans. At this point, a dude would come up to me and ask if I was waiting for the Olympics 6s, but I said that I was waiting for the Chucks. He gave me a Kobe-like death stare and walked away, thinking that I was crazy for not lining up for a pair of Jordans. In 2016, I don’t know if that same guy makes the same statement since he’s probably ditched his Jordans for Ultra Boosts. Meanwhile, I’m just dwiddling my thumbs waiting for the 2016 Air Force 180 retro to drop down to a hundred bucks for less because everybody is sleeping on them while the Uptempo gets all the hype…
