The Nike Air Max Zero gets a new look and construction for 2017 with this upcoming women’s edition. The biggest difference you’ll notice from past releases of the Tinker Hatfield concept sneaker is the ripstop nylon build for the upper, which gets overlayed with the usual fused-on synthetic materials. The colorway is also pretty unique, featuring a tan base with pink and maroon overlays and hits of both navy and royal blue. Ladies, if you like what you see, expect these at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com later this spring.

The UConn Women’s Basketball team broke an NCAA Basketball record today with their 91st straight win. To celebrate, Nike Basketball hooked up the entire squad with a special edition package featuring the Kyrie 3 “Grey”, a commemorative t-shirt, and other inserts.

The previous record of 90 straight wins in NCAA Basketball was also held by the UConn Huskies Women’s Team.

Nike will be giving sneakerheads what they’ve been asking for a long time now as later this month LeBron James’ first signature sneaker will be getting the retro treatment.

Seen above, the Nike Air Zoom Generation in the “First Game” colorway was worn by LeBron James during his first home game in Cleveland back on November 5, 2003. The shoe features a white leather upper with wine/red mesh detailing on the side panels, ankle, and the inner liner which has the date of the first home game embroidered in gold. Finishing things off are hits of navy throughout.

Look for the Nike Air Zoom Generation First Game to release on Nike SNKRS app as well as through select high-end stores/boutiques. Retail price will be $175.

After LeBron James confirmed that his Nike Air Zoom Generation would be receiving the retro treatment, we’ve now gotten new information for the release.

Before the shoe releases to the public, StockX will be holding a special auction release for both the Air Zoom Generation as well as the unreleased LeBron 14 “Out Of Nowhere”.

Known as the “Cavs Court SPO”, each shoe will be housed in a a commemorative sneaker box crafted from the hardwood of the Cleveland Cavaliers court from their 2015-2016 championship season. A certificate of authenticity will include a court map showing the exact location of the wood for each box. The special release will also include a team issued Cavaliers 2016 NBA Championship ring that is not available to the general public.

So how can you get your hands on either pair? Well they’ll only be available through auction as this “Cavs Court SPO” will celebrate the relationship between the Cavaliers and the city of Cleveland?s youth. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these sneaker will go towards supporting the Cavaliers Youth Foundation.

The auctions, open now and exclusive to StockX, will end next Thursday, January 19th at 9PM EST, pre-bidding will be opened to set the market. You?ll have the option to immediately resell through StockX to the highest bidders at closing.

If you don’t want to dish out thousands of dollars on the Air Zoom Generation then you’ll be happy to know that the shoe will release on its own in limited quantities on January 25th for $175.

Those intrigued by the new ‘Ultra’ construction for the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon can finally get their first detailed look at the shoe today with this preview of the Black/Bright Crimson colorway. Like all other Ultra iterations of classic Nike models, the Spiridon gets updated with a modern construction for the upper for lighter weight and extra comfort, paired with a modified sole with cored-out sections and more foam for an even smoother ride. The Spiridon Ultra is characterized by a fused mesh and synthetic upper, neoprene tongue and collar, and a slightly tweaked tooling that still retains the Zoom Air pods of the original design.

This sleek all-black colorway with minimal hit of Bright Crimson and a light blue outsole is arriving now at international retailers, so count on them being in US shops later this spring.

Nike SB tweaks their construction for the Dunk High with a couple of subtle variations to the high-top collar. The new-look Dunk features both a slightly higher cut and a slimmed down, less padded construction for a better fit while skating and more streamlined look. The differences certainly don’t stand out much, but they are there.
