Look Out For The Nike KD 9 BHM

In addition to the newly-introduced LeBron 14 and Kyrie 3, the Nike KD 9 is also a notable part of the Swoosh’s 2017 BHM collection, which honors Black History Month — an annual celebration of achievements by black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of African Americans in U.S. history.

Covered in the BHM’s signature color scheme of black, metallic gold and white — the basketball sneaker’s flyknit composition bears a two-tone finish, with white covering the frontal portion, followed by black for the remainder of its profile. Additionally, metallic gold accents are applied on the tongue tag for a luxe detail.

Priced at $160, you can purchase this standout variation at select Nike retailers starting Thursday, February 16th.

Nike Just Released A Wacky Update To The Air Tech Challenge II

Andre Agassi had one of the craziest signature sneaker lines in Nike history. He knew it and that was his goal – the man told us himself. You can read more of our exclusive interview with Andre Agassi here. But we think even Andre would be surprised with what NikeCourt just did to his beloved Nike Air Tech Challenge II with this women’s exclusive, now available via Nike UK and coming to the states in the near future.

Nike’s calling this lifestyle creation the Nike Air Tech Challenge XVII (that’s ’17 like the current year for those of you numerically impaired) and it features a number of the aesthetic choices that made the 1990 original such a must-have. The remastered women’s shoe features an off-court construction with a brand new stretch mesh upper for a modernized slip-on fit. An adjustable midfoot strap also adds a trainer appearance to the Nike Air Tech Challenge 17 while a herringbone traction pattern switches up the iconic outsole. We’ll never get tired of the Nike Air Tech Challenge II retros in original colorways, but we’re going to guess that opinions on this new NikeCourt creation will be mixed. What do you think?

We’re still waiting on a stateside release, but know that you can grab your pair today courtesy of Nike UK.
